  ### 1. The best alternative to ZipWhip

**What do you like best about Text Request?**

TextRequest has been an excellent platform for communication with both prospective and existing customers as well as employees. We use it daily for almost all communications - giving time updates, confirming appointments, setting up interviews, sending marketing text messages to prospective clients, etc. I would go so far as to say it is the most important tool we use. Each staff member has their own account so it's easy to tell who has handled/communicated with whom. We also recently discovered that you can tag contacts with different tags or add them to groups so that users can sort/filter their view for only contacts related to their office, which is awesome. 

**What do you dislike about Text Request?**

I still would prefer if they allowed you to use the brackets to put names in so that we can copy/paste messages to make things quicker. The templates are easy enough to use, however, it was just slightly faster to type "Hi [First Name], your clean is on X day at X time" and copy paste that message to multiple different people and have it automatically send that contact's name when the message was sent. TextRequest works slightly differently. When you create a template or type a message to someone and use the bracket list to put a name in, it automatically enters their name in the text BEFORE sending, so you are unable to then copy/paste that message to another person without sending the wrong name. Likewise, if you were to use my previously mentioned method (typing " [First Name] " and send it - the customer would receive a message that says Hi [First Name], not their actual name. 

**What problems is Text Request solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We've streamlined several of our procedures using texting vs. calling in our business. It is much faster to communicate with customers whether for confirming appointments or for marketing purposes by text than via phone call.

  ### 2. Powerful Keyword Campaigns and Message Tagging for Clearer Client Metrics

**What do you like best about Text Request?**

I love that I can use keywords to make separate campaigns and also tag messages so that we can run metrics on who is handling each client that reaches out.

**What do you dislike about Text Request?**

The app and website is a little glitchy, a little funky. There is definitely room for improvement when it comes to the organization of data and customers. Especially once we are done with the client, we should be able to clear them or archive them from our view. I would also like to be able to integrate with Agency Zoom. We currently have all of our other leads come through there, and then AZ works with everything else, so the customer would be entered there automatically when the text comes through and then gets brought through all stages until completion.

**What problems is Text Request solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The problem we had was connecting our dealer referrals directly from each dealer IOT track that metric, and reward the dealerships sending us the most business. With text request it made it easier to incentivize our dealers which will ultimately save us money on paid leads that are only warm at best.

**What do you like best about Text Request?**

The customer support is SO efficient and effective. Set up was SUPER easy, and training was done quickly. This is different from other texting platforms because you can create discrete group texts (great for classes) and you can schedule text messages, which is also great for enrollment workflows. You can use it on your desktop or phone, and its just really great and totally affordable for small business owners!

**What do you dislike about Text Request?**

Nothing, honestly its so great and I'm so glad I have it!

**What problems is Text Request solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Text Request is an integral part of my sales conversion process and it makes it so easy to communicate with my customers. I love it, and I've loved every representative that I've worked with to get set up!

**What do you like best about Text Request?**

I find Text Request user-friendly and appreciate that it offers both a desktop and app version, making it versatile for business communications. I like how it provides an easier way to communicate with customers compared to calling or emailing. Additionally, I like that we can link it with our business landline instead of personal cell phones, which is helpful for maintaining professional boundaries. The initial setup was very easy, which was a big plus.

**What do you dislike about Text Request?**

I don't like that I have to clear the app notification if I acknowledge something in the desktop version.

**What problems is Text Request solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Text Request provides an easier way to communicate with customers than calling or emailing. It's user-friendly, has both desktop and app versions, and lets us link business landlines instead of personal cell phones, making it convenient for business communications.

**What do you like best about Text Request?**

We've been using Text Request for over a year now, and it's been extremely helpful for our customer service reps. It has become an easier option for customers to get in contact with us over email or phone calls. The noticeable boost in engagement and lead conversions continue to rise. Highly recommend any business looking to add another way of communicating with their customers and ensure to add the widget to your website!

**What do you dislike about Text Request?**

I would like for Text Request to improve on possibly a ticketing system to be assigned to the customers phone number or if they want to open a new ticket. I believe this would help keep things organized and be able to track down history. 

**What problems is Text Request solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Text Request has made it much easier for our customer service team to connect with customers during business hours. It’s significantly reduced the number of phone calls we receive, thanks to how quickly and efficiently we can respond via text.

**What do you like best about Text Request?**

I use Text Request to communicate with my clients and really value that I can have multiple team members responding to the same text thread in one convenient dashboard. It's helpful that I can use my personal phone less for business. The autoreply feature is also great for letting my clients know when they're reaching out after hours. I appreciate the dashboard being so easy to use, allowing me to sort and organize my text threads in different ways based on my needs. I like that I can see my account, usage, and billing stats so easily online. The plan and billing are set up in a way that I can choose add-ons and expand my account as needed, providing great transparency. The initial setup was very easy, and overall, the experience has been very smooth.

**What do you dislike about Text Request?**

Group chats functionality would be so helpful! I do accounting, and a lot of my clients are businesses where both owners need to be involved in conversations. I still have to use my personal phone for these conversations, because Text Request doesn't have the functionality to allow me to do that.

**What problems is Text Request solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Text Request to let multiple team members respond to texts in one place and to keep business off my personal phone.

**What do you like best about Text Request?**

At the moment i am liking the group message feature makes it easier to send marketing messages and keep up with the lost leads- a simple copy/paste and compose the message. The stats after sending the message ie. delivered, opted, undelivered makes it easier to know who we can target.

**What do you dislike about Text Request?**

The edit/delete feature would be a great addition- there has been instances where we mistakenly send a message/wrong contact a text and unfortunately there is no way how to deleted or edit the message, tend to lead to miscommunication for that particular customer.

**What problems is Text Request solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The communication problem is being resolved with the clients that have a busy life style they tend to quickly send us a text message and we update their account accordingly. This is helpful to ensure we are running a well oiled machine and keeping the schedules.

**What do you like best about Text Request?**

Their ability to work with me as a (very) small business owner, and the onboarding process.

**What do you dislike about Text Request?**

I was invited to training, but the only day available on the calendar was day after tomorrow, and I'm out of the office all day. I emailed back (making sure it was not a non-reply email address) to ask for other options and haven't heard back, yet.

**What problems is Text Request solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I moved my business cell phone to an VoIP line and need a business text number as it's on my cards and my clients like it. As I've gotten used to Text Request, I put the app on my cell phone and open it automatically on my desktop so can check on texts any time. I also sent out a group text to my clients, which was super helpful.

**What do you like best about Text Request?**

Text Request feels just as reliable as ever, and it continues to get easier to use over time. I especially appreciate the improvements to message organization and the faster response times. The automation features have also been really helpful for keeping communication consistent without needing a lot of extra effort.

**What do you dislike about Text Request?**

There isn’t much I dislike overall, but I’d appreciate a bit more flexibility in the automated messages and the reporting options. Also, when I’m managing a large number of conversations at once, it could be smoother and easier to handle.

This helps us overcome the language barrier we sometimes have with certain clients.
