I like that Splashtop Remote Support is easy to use – I pushed the Splashtop Streamer to each computer using Microsoft InTune, and after that, remoting in is as easy as clicking on a computer. The AEM dashboard is immediately available for me to see each computer's status and perform fixes if necessary. It allows me to virtually be present on each computer, making maintenance and addressing staff concerns feasible without having to physically travel. Splashtop also helps clarify issues more clearly than Microsoft does sometimes, allowing me to decide whether to use Splashtop or InTune to implement solutions. The setup was straightforward; I just needed to upload the deployment package to InTune, push it out, and it was done. Overall, the remote access and monitoring capabilities are crucial and affordable given our budget constraints. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The main issue I have with Splashtop not working is that a laptop can only be accessed if they are on, open, and the streamer is still functional. Often when the laptop goes to sleep, the streamer stops working, and the user has to restart the computer in order for me to be able to remote in. The staff are pretty good about it, but it's the one major downside. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
