What do you like best?

I like that SkillSurvey involves the new hire in their own reference check process. It's no longer having to call people, and it can be done by the reference conveniently at any time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

Skillsurvey allows candidates to input their own reference information. And then the recruiter can see the details of who they requested from and whether they have clicked on the link.

Also love that you can choose the survey best suited to the role and you can ask SkillSurvey for recommendations.

What do you like best?

Working with engineers and scientists requires bringing data to decisions and SkillSurvey does just that! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

Wish there were more life science-specific job surveys such as Biomedical Engineer, CMC, Project Manager, Clinical Affairs, Regulatory Affairs, etc. Also, I dislike the fact that I only get one notification to finalize a person and not another when other references are received. What do you like best?

What do you like best?

The best parts of SkillSurvey are the ease of sending a text and email too obtain the references and being able to read actual candid feedback from former managers and colleagues. We also appreciate that it integrates directly into our ATS. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Downside would be not being able to ask follow up questions or making sure 100% of the questions make sense for our particular role. But all in all, we love the product and so do our clients. Many people are afraid to complete a reference. With Skill Survey, all the responses are confidential. The references feel more comfortable speaking honestly regarding people that have worked for them. What do you like best?

Our department likes the fact of being able to track activity. I actually like the fact we are even able to monitor IP addresses. We really appreciate our candidates being able to track the progress so that they feel more involved in the process. Openness is also what we are looking for and this facilitates. The customer support was always so swift to respond. Multiple times, we had to contact the help to see if there were any suggestions for a specific role. I sent out a job requirements over and got two questionnaires to choose between within a day. In this quest we used the suggested one, and it went out very well. What do you dislike?

Nonetheless, we haven't hated anything yet, we've use it so far just for 90 queries. We had to change the candidates 'automatic reply message quite a bit because the candidate was a little confused. I do not appreciate the audit function in which each time we need to put a justification for our edits. We only adjust a term or two occasionally so I don't mind filling it out. By modifying the email prototypes we will make our team skillsurvey system more positive. I like the way we can easily edit to meet the needs of that particular quest.
