What do you like best about SimplePractice?

I liked the original pricing plans that included most of the basic services my small practice required (website scheduling widget, appointment reminders, forms). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SimplePractice?

Simple Practice with minimal warning increased the monthly price for basic features astronomically - citing the addition of mandatory features my practice doesn't use or need. The plan I originally chose was suddenly no longer available. When I downgraded rather than pay the astronomical new fee I thought it would take place at the end of the billing cycle to give time for users to adjust and to give me time to research an alternative. Instead it happened immediately meaning my clients lost appointment reminders that same day and I had to manually text them all. I also had to spend hours removing their scheduling widget from every place in my website where I'd placed it. I was given a credit by simple practice for the difference in pricing which I then lost when I switched to a competitor shortly thereafter as simple practice will not refund.

I recommend looking into Power Diary or Embark if you are a solo practitioner or small practice. It's very stressful to run a practice and have this happen with little to no warning. A small increase on a yearly basis would've gone over better than such a huge jump in price without any accompanying value. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about SimplePractice?

Its really user friendly, and has a lot of additional services outside of clinical documentation. I also like the ability it has to manage claims and insurance enrollment. I have grown my practice using this EHRS program Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SimplePractice?

What do you like best about SimplePractice?

Confidentiality is important and at the forefront of SimplePractice system. I love how everything is easy to use and located in a single location. My clients appreciate the option to cancel and reschedule at the same time, secure messages, easy to use client portal and the link to telehealth connection. What do you dislike about SimplePractice?

I originally left due to the credit card processing fees with Stripe as well as file size uploads that are not assessment friendly. The cost difference is acceptable considering how much time I save having everything in one location. I learned how to reduce pdf file size so the upload limit is no longer an issue. What do you like best about SimplePractice?

What do you dislike about SimplePractice?

No ability to edit existing treatment plans. Additionally, It is not easy to get in contact with a real human being to address technical issues. I am not the only one to note this. They have a cha box that links to a community forum that ultimately is not effective for answering your questions they lack any phone numbers to call them. I am very disappointed that I cannot edit existing treatment plans. I see upwards of 30 + clients per week. It is very aggravating to have to make an entirely new treatment plan when all I need to do (and would save a lot of time) is simply update the existing one. I have tried to address this issue with them before and they said the issue was something my supervisor would have address in their settings. My supervisor did what she was able to do and I still cannot edit existing treatment plans. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about SimplePractice?

Super easy to use and very convenient for the clients. Clients are able to upload documents from their end. Scheduling and creating client profiles are easy. The calendar display is visually pleasing. There's a lot of extra features that make you want to use the system. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SimplePractice?

Never had any issues. There could be more of a variety of templates. Support can be hard to reach since you cannot call. Provide a phone number and live chat for those who need assistance asap. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about SimplePractice?

Note templates are helpful, and you can develop your own. Secure messaging feature with clients, which is HIPAA compliant. Keeps psychotherapy and progress notes together on the same page, but separate if need to provide to clients or insurance. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SimplePractice?

It was challenging to figure out the best way to add a "request appointment" link on my professional website, so I ended up having to switch the location I had my domain on. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
