They keep adding new features that make my life easier, their customer service is always on point and available to help. The team that uses Plytix within our business has expanded, and everyone loves it, especially after I train people on different functionalities. We're using the PIM for the new ERP implementation, use it on a daily basis without any issues. It's also very easy to integrate the PIM with our existing software through Channels and Profiles. Thank you Team Plytix! 2022 Review: Plytix has a fantastic interface and ease of use. This software provides almost anything I need for product management, categorizing, media management like photography; I can export/import lists of products based on filters I can define; do bulk edits and updates. On top of that, the Customer Service Team is among the best. I've interacted with around 4 members and all of them have been very helpful and knowledgeable. The system itself is pretty intuitive out of the gate. We migrated around 10,000 skus from our internal database over to Plytix and most of the initial setup was managed by the team, which really sped up the process. **What do you dislike about Plytix Cloud PIM & DAM?** Figuring out which format your metafields belong in can be confusing, especially when trying to dynamically create them in plytix to feed to shopify. **What problems is Plytix Cloud PIM & DAM solving and how is that benefiting you?** Prior to Plytix, we had to go through our IT team for any modifications to the database - removing product, updating product, adding new specification fields, etc. Now, all of that product information lives in the PIM. Need to add a new field? Done in minutes. Need to filter out certain brands or update prices based on some calculated field? done. Plytix now not only supplies our ERP with product data, but also the online shop. Even if this is not yet fully automated (via the channels), it is a huge benefit. Our media service reached its performance limits. Plytix has completely replaced it and offers even more options than before. We support 200 retail stores across two countries. Plytix ticked all the boxes. Easy to establish/build/import data and use. The Plytix team was great and gave us the support we needed during the discovery stage. Our next phase is to develop another 2 of our groups of retail stores onto Plytix. Our Stores cover Toys/Sports Fashion/Sporting Goods/Fishing & Camping Gear. **What do you dislike about Plytix Cloud PIM & DAM?** We haven't found any blockers using Plytix. We needed to tweak a couple of business processes to ensure we retain data integrity, no more workarounds or shortcuts. **What problems is Plytix Cloud PIM & DAM solving and how is that benefiting you?** We have a pretty complex number of systems across the different elements of the business, ERP/POS's/Webstores/Countries/output Channels. The goal was to master Product Information in one place and design and manage all outputs to all the various points. Early stages for us, but already we can see a massive reduction in duplication across the business by amalgamating all the data entry points into one easy-to-use PIM system. What stands out to me about Plytix is the ability to perform a particular action in more than 1 way. Example: Exporting product information can be done in many different ways. It is straightforward to understand and easy to implement. Risa our Account Manager has been a great support. She is quick to respond and is available for a call at short notice. **What do you dislike about Plytix Cloud PIM & DAM?** The only thing I dislike with Plytix is that I need a connector to integrate with magento. The team that handled the connector was very challenging to work with nonetheless, the support from Risa was great. I have seen direct integrations with a few platforms. The huge thing with plytix is that the meetings are "free" (if we ignore the monthly cost for the program itself) so it's like getting a colleague included with the program, a person who after some meetings understand and come with truly helpful suggestions for my business. I personally talk once or twice a week with them about improvements and I can whenever I want book a meeting in-between the weekly talks. Brand portals are great for sending custom product assortments to prospects and customers. Their knowledge base is also very extensive and provides fairly clear instructions. I've never been able to NOT find the answer I was looking for. **What do you dislike about Plytix Cloud PIM & DAM?** I wish you could make computed attributes in the master catalog. It is really helpful that Plytix allows you to edit in bulk information and assets linked to the products. Their channel feature can be tailored to the needs of the end receiver, optimizing the implementation of the PIM. In addition, their product sheets and brand portals help export information with a personalized template that can help with sales in B2C and B2B channels. The option to personalize the view and design of the PIM is very friendly with the number of user profiles we need for the company. When importing information, Plytix allows you to download a report that gives you the detail about the status of each product. This is great as it helps you understand why the platform marked a warning or error sign for a specific SKU. The fact that each editing feature can be traced through the import logs, (also change logs are available for each product, which are more detailed and specific), is very useful for tracking product information in case something is needed to be consulted. The platform is accompanied by a great support team, customer success manager and specialists that are always looking to help you, listen to your feedback and recommendations. You can contact them directly and usually respond immediately. When we wanted to let the whole company know about Plytix, what it was and how it would help us, the customer success manager and our implementation specialist were open to do a training session to accomplish our goal. **What do you dislike about Plytix Cloud PIM & DAM?** When clicking to see the product detail, editing would be faster if the attributes were available to manipulate directly so you don't have to go back to the main menu. This includes parent SKUs with their variations. Our key account managers often need to access product information from multiple SKUs. To avoid data manipulation from every person that needs access, we chose to create user profiles because it is limited to viewing and exporting. However, searching for multiple SKUs becomes time consuming (however, it saves time compared to their traditional searching method) as the options are either searching one by one, or importing a list that will be exported later with the information needed, but because user profiles can't import information, then they are left only with the first option. Considering this, it would be great if Plytix allowed you to search SKUs in bulk from the search bar. When linking assets of variation SKUs directly in Plytix, it would be great if the parent SKU appeared at the top of the products list so it could be easily linked. As for digital asset management, Plytix is great when it comes to renaming, converting and resizing images. However, there is a possibility that this process makes the image loose quality and it might fail to complete our clients' requests. Also, an improved management could include the possibility of adjusting the weight, px and margins of the assets. **What problems is Plytix Cloud PIM & DAM solving and how is that benefiting you?** It is allowing us to improve our user experience in our e-commerce website, thanks to all the attributes that the platform allows us to create based on the needs of the industry. For example, our products have history behind their designs and roots that we feel the need to share with our clients. We sell through a few different channels - Shopify, brick-and-mortar, Google, Meta. Before we used Plytix we kept products in Shopify and did our best to manage descriptions, prices, relations between products, images, etc... It was a mess, with lots of spreadsheets in complicated directory trees. It was almost impossible to work as a team. Now that we use Plytix, all our product information is on Plytix. Our whole team can see all product information, we can concurrently edit products and easily track changes. We can generate a new price list for a new brick-and-mortar store with a push of a button. Plytix pushes product information directly to Shopify. Also, Plytix has excellent, knowledgeable, customer support. They really know how Plytix integrates with Shopify. **What do you dislike about Plytix Cloud PIM & DAM?** The user interface could be improved. Although the price is acceptable, and ultimately very worth it, the headline price seems too high. Regarding the user interface, we'd like to be able organize the product information to our particular needs. Also, I'd like some kind of scripting API. I'd love to do bulk updates with, say, a Python script. Now I have to export data, do an update, then reupload the new data. Much better than any other system I tried, but having built-in scripting would be even better. **What problems is Plytix Cloud PIM & DAM solving and how is that benefiting you?** Our problem was keeping all the information about our products current and internally consistent. And also pushing product info our omnichannels. We started by inputting all information to Shopify by hand. That was a losing game. So we tried using spreadsheets and Matrixify. That was a mess of spreadsheets, scripts, directory trees, dates and email threads. With the Plytix PIM we have a single, shared, easily updated, online, place for our product information. The time I spend on product updates has fallen by at least a factor of 5. And, others on my team can use Plytix to update what they need to. They used to send me an email, so I could do it, since it meant updating a spreadsheet and uploading that to Shopify. But now they can just do what they need to, and keep me out of the loop. And, when we open a new channel, we have all the information ready, and we just have to configure the output for the new channel. ### 47.
