Plytix Cloud PIM & DAM Reviews & Product Details

We have now been using Plytix for several years and it has been a game changer for our business. We run multiple websites for our business as well as provide product feeds for dropshippers. Plytix has enabled us to centralise our data. Before we had to update each product channel individually, now we do it once and it does all of our channels. This has saved a huge amount of time. Additionally Plytix is extremely responsive with requests. Whenever I can't get it to do something I want, I get a quick response telling me how to do it, or we then work with their devs to look at the viability of making a new module for the system that everyone can benefit from. I don't really have any dislikes at this point. We have evolved our use over the past few years to get things to run the way we need them to. We are getting into AI in a pretty heavy way, and are probably a bit further along in this space to what Plytix currently is, but they are working on it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It is a very easy-to-use tool that allows for gradual progress in data incorporation and in structuring our catalog. I would like it to include some additional features, especially related to formulas. I would also greatly appreciate having an option that allows detecting inconsistencies in the data, as we have not been able to do so until now and these errors often go unnoticed. I am not convinced that only CSV files can be imported, as I usually work with XLSX. I believe that mass editing of attributes could be easier if it could be done directly from the product preview. I also don't like having to add an attribute to the family before being able to edit it. I would like to be able to quickly remove options that are not being used in multiselect fields. A lot of clicking... I prefere to work in excel. If we take an dropdown attribute that has 25 different options that is written into a spreadsheet, this can not be imported. The same with translationloops.

The setup between attributes and families is also a lot of clicking. In our business it is quite common that new mandetory attributes in created that needs to be filled out. When this happends you need to click into every family and add this new attribute, even though the attribute is added into the group of mandetory attribute.

What I appreciate most is the ease of use—whether we are importing, exporting, or editing products with variants and hierarchies, there is always a straightforward way to accomplish tasks, and the necessary information is available right where we need it. The documentation is thorough, and the support team is excellent and responsive whenever I have questions. We rely on Plytix as our single source of truth for product information on a daily basis (excluding prices and sales), and it is integrated via API with our ERP and webshop. I am not a fan of the formula Editor. Personally, I would have preferred a lightweight Python integration. However, with the recent addition of AI integration, making adjustments has become much more straightforward. What drew us to Plytix as our PIM was its high level of customization. We had the flexibility to build an organizational structure that mirrored our team’s existing workflow while improving our content behind the scenes. I find that Plytix Cloud PIM & DAM is very intuitive and easy to handle, which saves me a great amount of time when uploading and downloading information. The bulk data upload feature is especially valuable to me, as it significantly improves the efficiency of my work. I only need to have the list of information in an Excel file and convert it to CSV to easily import it into Plytix Cloud PIM & DAM, which significantly optimizes my workflow. We are awaiting some improvements in the technical sheets because, as they are currently designed, they are not suitable for sending to clients, which is their main purpose. Additionally, although the initial setup was satisfactory, the final development of the content is proving to be a bit more complicated than expected. Plytix is truly transforming the PIM landscape by providing a sophisticated tool that remains remarkably user-friendly and intuitive.
