I like that there are a number of tools to help you with anything if you get stuck in the Knowledge Center. Creating and downloading reports as well as making item lists is easy. I can get digital assets in a variety of bucket ways, and send content downstream to my final endpoint pretty straightforward as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sometimes when importing files or uploading data, the system is slow or lagging because there are a number of other imports queued ahead of you. Also the maintenance times are not always the best time for me to get in there and do what I need to do because the entire website goes down for those updates. Nothing that we dislike, its price is not high, so we have not had any inconvenience, it has worked positively in our organization. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
You are able to create multiple catalogs and include what you want (ie costs for the salespeople - no costs for the buyers!) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
They chop on extra costs for small changes so it may be challenging for smaller businesses but as a longer company, the little details are definitely worth the up cost. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Salsify delivers tangible agility in tailoring product content super-fast in a very pleasant SaaS fashion. The friendly UX, data model flexibility, content transformation formulas, automated workflows and self-service content portals make this solution a great choice for the ones who seek to squeeze true value out of a PIM/PXM solution. More standard, out-of-the-box connectors to other software platforms (e.g. Microsoft Sharepoint) and export builder helpers (e.g. excel add-in with formula builders, etc) would make this solution even better. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Salsify is an excellent SAAS tool that helps you manage your content across multiple retailers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The user friendly interface and the huge scope of the software. The cross platform integration and the availability of APIs makes it a great software for every e-commerce based company to have. Maintaining a one-stop data warehouse, creating instant product catalogs and managing digital assets are a piece of cake, now. Thank you, Salsify ! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Nothing in particular, as of now; however the bulk edits can be made a little more easier by enabling a horizontal approach also in addition to the vertical one. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I love that we are able to store all of the content we have in 1 central location, then be able to syndicate that out to multiple partners to launch and update products quickly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It would be nice if there were the ability to have more customization in the catalog creation and sell sheet creation setups. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The thing I love most about Salsify is the customer service.
No matter how little or how much you spend, you all feel important and well cared for.
This is also one of the most user-friendly and intuitive platforms I've used in a super long while. It is highly customizable, and there is a lot of flexibility.
You get out just as much and more than you put in.
You can create as many fields as you need.
Digital assets do not have to be attached to a product and can be managed as separate entities.
With many available syndication partners and the ability to create custom channels, you can cover 95% of your syndication needs.
Ability to manage and syndicate A+ content
Workflows are strong tools that are constantly improving.
If you don't have a solid hub for all of your product data, then Salsify is a must for your organization.
You're actually losing money every second you delay onboarding.
I have had the opportunity to participate in and lead two integrations with two very different companies. There is so much that this solution can do for you. The more you do, the more you realize you can do. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sometimes a service ticket can fall through the cracks here and there, but a quick note usually sees a quick answering following through shortly after. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We have selected to manage both our PIM and DAM with Salsify. Having all product and digital content within one platform is creating efficiencies and allowing our team to improve content using the tools available with our package. We moved our PIM to Salsify in May, and have been able to review and find the gaps in our information to improve our search and drive consistent application within the tools. At this point in our partnership, we haven't found any mentionable downside. We are going to consider in your 2nd year with this partner how to ensure we have the right support from the Salsify team to minimize any learning curves as we develop and grow our portfolio and content.
