"More than just a platform"
What do you like best about Maestra?

Exceptional "White-Glove" Service: Unlike many Enterprise platforms where you are left with just documentation, Maestra provides a dedicated Success Manager who acts almost like an extension of your own team. They help with the technical heavy lifting, which is a lifesaver if your internal dev resources are tight.

Seamless Data Consolidation: Maestra excels at creating a Unified User Profile. It aggregates data from web, mobile apps, and offline sources effectively, allowing for highly personalized marketing without manual data cleaning.

Intuitive Visual Workflow Builder: The drag-and-drop "Flows" interface is very user-friendly. Setting up complex multi-step journeys (e.g., Email -> Push -> In-app) is straightforward and doesn't require technical expertise once the data is flowing.

Flexible and Competitive Pricing: Compared to legacy players like Braze or Salesforce, Maestra offers much more flexibility in their pricing tiers, making it accessible for growing businesses with multiple apps or domains.

Native AI Capabilities: Their "Best Time to Send" and predictive segmentation features work out of the box, helping increase engagement rates without constant A/B testing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Maestra?

Initial Setup Complexity: While they provide great support, the initial integration of the CDP (Customer Data Platform) layer can be time-consuming. You need to be very clear about your data mapping early on to avoid rework.

Documentation Depth: Because they rely heavily on their support team to guide you, their public-facing technical documentation is sometimes less detailed than "self-service" platforms like OneSignal or Klaviyo.

Learning Curve for Advanced Features: While basic flows are easy, the more advanced logic and custom payload configurations for mobile push can take some time to master for non-technical marketers.

Smaller Integration Ecosystem: While they cover the "Big Ones" (like Amplitude or Shopify), they have fewer third-party "one-click" integrations compared to global giants, though their API usually compensates for this. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Excellent Support and Comprehensive Platform"
What do you like best about Maestra?

Any platform features are overshadowed by communication with people. First of all, of course, I want to mention our competent and attentive manager Rinat, who will always analyze any case, from complex integration to a simple filter in segments.

Next, I will talk about interacting with the platform. I would most like to mention working with the database and segments - it's always an interesting puzzle where you can use filters to put together a custom set of contacts for the campaign you need.

Working with mailings via channels - SMS, email, WA - is generally intuitive, pleasantly interactive, and rest assured, the constant changes in the interface will keep you from getting bored :) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Maestra?

I think this is the case on any platform, but unexpected bugs do occur, especially when working with complex settings in segment filters. I would like to see this fixed some day. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Intuitive, Reliable Platform for Email & Push with Powerful Segmentation"
What do you like best about Maestra?

What I like most about Maestra is how smoothly it brings email and push communications together in one platform. The interface is intuitive, the setup is flexible, and it’s easy to manage campaigns without feeling overwhelmed by technical details. We especially appreciate the reliability of delivery and the level of control over segmentation and personalization — it really helps us communicate with users in a more relevant and timely way. Overall, Maestra feels like a well-thought-out tool that supports both everyday tasks and more complex marketing scenarios. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Maestra?

There are very few drawbacks, but some advanced features require time to fully explore and use effectively. For new users, the learning curve can feel a bit steep at first, especially when working with more complex automation or segmentation logic. That said, once you get familiar with the platform, these challenges become much less noticeable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Powerful platform and Excellent Service"
What do you like best about Maestra?

A powerful customer data management platform. With Maestra, we collect a large amount of data on customer behavior, which allows us to segment our audience effectively and personalize our campaigns. The flexible automation workflow builder makes it easy to create complex scenarios. Regular platform updates make it even more convenient to use. The responsive support team is always helpful and assists with solving complex tasks. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Maestra?

I would like to have more flexible message sending settings, for example, the ability to send an email to a random percentage of contacts within a segment.

I would also like a more convenient form builder for collecting contacts. It would be great to have a builder not only for subscription forms, but also for standalone landing pages to collect contacts. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Seamless Integration and Stellar Support"
What do you like best about Maestra?

We had to switch away from our previous email/SMS provider unexpectedly and had to scramble before Q4 to migrate. We took a chance on Maestra rather than going with the more 'tried and true' ecomm softwares. BEST DECISION EVER! Maestra set us up right before BFCM without us lifting a finger, providing a seamless experience way ahead of schedule. They recreated every single one of our flows, upsells, cross-sells, and template emails for us. Their support is amazing, making it easy for us to fix any of the rare issues that come up - we found an issue and their tech lead jumped on a zoom call with us to investigate and fixed the issue within hours. I value the integration Maestra provides with all our other tools, like our mobile app and review providers, even when one didn't exist - they will go out of their way and work hand in hand with your other providers at no extra cost. I have never had another vendor so dedicated and willing to help us with whatever we need. Months later, now that we're all set up, I love working with our Maestra representative, Julia, who is incredibly helpful, talented, kind, and feels like another team member. She provides strategic advice and will do whatever we need - creating templates, landing pages, coordinating with our web team - she SERIOUSLY is like another team member. If you are on the fence about Maestra, PULL THE TRIGGER. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Maestra?

My one critique would be that Maestra could be more user-friendly in the backend; it can be a little daunting and confusing at times when trying to set things up ourselves, especially for campaigns. Also, they could dumb things down a bit and rename things in a way that makes more sense, like how 'state' is named 'zone' in the backend. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Powerful segmentation and personalization capabilities that impact business metrics"
What do you like best about Maestra?

Maestra is an excellent CDP with extensive functionality. It’s well suited for collecting and storing large amounts of audience data and then using that data effectively. The platform makes it easier to understand your audience and engage with them through omnichannel communication.

It’s also straightforward to monitor key business metrics, and it’s convenient to implement new features in collaboration with the platform team.

Colleagues help with integrations and answers to complex questions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Maestra?

When working with a user base, the filters aren’t always intuitive and can feel complex. It seems possible to create almost any segment, but it isn’t always clear how to set it up or which options to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Outstanding Support and Versatile Features Make Maestra a Standout"
What do you like best about Maestra?

What I like most about Maestra is the strong support from account managers and the support team. They are deeply involved in our business, understand our needs, and help resolve questions quickly. I also value the platform’s wide and flexible set of features. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Maestra?

Sometimes the platform can feel complex, but this is largely balanced by the strong support from account managers, who are always ready to help and guide us through any questions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Shockingly Excellent Service Gets The Most Out Of This Powerful Platform"
What do you like best about Maestra?

We have had a great experience in our first 5 months with maestra. We use it as our ESP, as well as using it for our site personalization and upsells, and promotional messaging (like countdown, progress bars, etc).

In our 5 months on the platform it's been exactly as promised, if not better. In the first couple months we got through the initial hiccups of switching ESPs, which the maestra team helped to minimize. Since then our Customer Success Lead, Julia, has helped us to build out new and smarter automations and site personalizations. We meet weekly and she helps us through absolutely everything, whether it's strategic planning, suggestions on email content, ideas for site experience, and even implementation. I've never gotten this type of service from a platform. She's instantly become a valuable partner. It's bonkers how easy she makes everything. When we have tech needs we can get in touch with their tech team directly via Slack. They respond immediately, and have even been willing to work on the platform and integrations in response to our requests.

We first found maestra while researching bundling/upselling/site personalization. We were impressed enough by their features and service model that we decided to take the big step of migrating to maestra as our ESP. I'm glad we did. Having a centralized customer data platform driving our email, site personalization and soon loyalty, is huge for us. And having access to the excellent service and partnership we get from our Customer Success Manager means that we're actually making good use of the platform and all its features. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Maestra?

Since they're not as big as Klaviyo or other ESPs, they don't have all the out-of-the-box integrations you might want. Maestra has been very willing to work with other apps APIs to integrate as needed, but sometimes you need to pay more to an app in order to get API access. The impact of this depends on how much volume your store does, and what parts of your stack you want to have Maestra cover. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Campaign Building with Stellar Support"
What do you like best about Maestra?

I appreciate Maestra's capabilities as a robust database, which let us communicate across channels and brands with cohesive backend data. It's user-friendly, and the team support is really helpful — we can achieve anything we want. I like that we have support from someone who knows how to work the platform, helping us achieve intricate plans easily. I love how simple it is to create campaigns and go live. The platform's simplicity makes it easy for anyone on my team to build a campaign, allowing us to easily pivot and drive revenue. The initial setup was also very easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Maestra?

There are some bugs or niche things that sometimes make our campaigns not work, but they're always solved quickly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Saves Time with White-Glove Service, Highly Customizable"
What do you like best about Maestra?

I really appreciate the white-glove service that Maestra offers. It saves us a ton of time and allows us to be as involved as we need to be. I also like that the platform is extremely customizable, covering several aspects like email, SMS, on-site personalization, CDP, marketing automation, and loyalty schemes, all in one. This helps me avoid feeling locked into a single way of doing things like I might with a larger company. The initial setup was easy since they took care of all of it, which was a big help for our small marketing team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Maestra?

I'd say the UI could be better - it's fine for me, but can be overly technical at points. Sometimes you want the customer's data displayed clearly and it's not always obvious where to look. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
