Last updated: Nov 04, 2026

What is Loopio, and what problem is it built to solve?

Loopio is RFP response software designed to help companies streamline their process for responding to RFPs, DDQs, and security questionnaires.

What languages does Loopio support?

Loopio supports 12 languages, including Danish, Dutch, English, Finnish, French, and others.

What company sizes and industries is Loopio the best fit for?

Loopio’s strongest reviewer-reported fit is among mid-market and enterprise organizations, with positive experiences across several industries. The most represented segments include:
  • Company size: Mid-market and enterprise organizations.
  • Industry: Computer software and information technology and services.
  • Industry: Financial services and healthcare.

How long does it take to implement Loopio across a team?

Implementation timelines vary, but one to three months is the most commonly reported range. Other teams describe getting started in under a month, while some report longer rollouts.

What customer support options does Loopio provide, and how do users find the overall support experience?

Support is available by phone, email/help desk, and chat, with a knowledge base for self-service. The support experience is often described as helpful, responsive, and knowledgeable, though response times can sometimes be slower across time zones.

What is the experience like for teams switching to Loopio from another tool?

Switching to Loopio is often motivated by the need for a more intuitive, collaborative response process and a better way to manage reusable content. Teams moving from tools such as Qvidian and Responsive/RFPIO describe easier navigation, stronger project collaboration, and more streamlined library management; some also point to improved automation and a more modern feature set.

What tools and platforms does Loopio integrate with, and how do these integrations help users get more value from the product?

Loopio offers 14 integrations. The integrations users mention span CRM, collaboration, and productivity tools:
  • CRM: Salesforce.
  • Collaboration and communication: Microsoft Teams and Slack.
  • Productivity and documents: Microsoft 365 and Excel.
These connections can bring proposal work closer to sales opportunities and help teams coordinate tasks and access working documents without as much context switching.

What features or capabilities could make Loopio even more useful?

Loopio could be more useful with stronger search and more automation around maintaining a reliable content library. Commonly requested improvements include:
  • Make search and suggested answers more context-aware, with clearer controls for generated responses.
  • Automate more library upkeep, including identifying duplicates and flagging content that needs review.
  • Improve document importing, mapping, and exporting so complex files and formatting need less manual cleanup.
  • Expand reporting and customization for dashboards, templates, and workflows.

How useful do Loopio users find its AI features in everyday use?

Loopio’s AI can speed up first drafts and help teams reuse or adapt existing content, but generated answers still need review, particularly for complex or sensitive questions. Users describe the tools as useful for getting started, with accuracy and relevance depending in part on the quality of the library.

"The Bid Engine"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Loopio?

Loopio AI continues to be a gamechanger in bid management and bid writing. We have seen massive improvements in the AI and have been really impressed with the content it is producing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Loopio?

There are still document formats/styles that cannot easily be loaded into Loopio, i.e. complex Excel spreadsheets with multiple columns, Word documents with tables etc. It would also be good to link external AI engines like ChatGPT with Loopio AI to reduce rekeying. I would like to see Loopio make further improvements to encompass more of the whole RFP process. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Reliable RFP platform with strong collaboration, but AI and content management still need work"
4/5
What do you like best about Loopio?

Since using Loopio more extensively, I've found the collaboration features to be particularly valuable. Assigning sections to subject matter experts, tracking progress, and maintaining a centralized response library make it much easier to manage large RFPs. The outlook and teams' integration also helps connect opportunities with proposal work, reducing context switching. Overall, it has become a dependable platform for organizing complex RFP responses across teams. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Loopio?

The AI capabilities have improved but still require significant review before responses are client-ready, especially for technical or highly customized questions. Library management continues to be a challenge because outdated and duplicate content accumulates over time, making answer selection less reliable. Search relevance could also be improved so the best responses surface more consistently. Better automation for content governance and library cleanup would make the platform even more effective. "Highly recommended"
5/5
What do you like best about Loopio?

Highly recommended to streamline the bidding process, simplify complicated tendering requirements and collate previous responses to ensure continuous improvement. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Loopio?

User type allocation can be complicated and the cost of additional users could be more transparent to allow for effective budget planning. Read-only library users would be helpful as standard. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Intuitive, User-Friendly Interface with Strong Collaboration"
4/5
What do you like best about Loopio?

What I like best about Loopio is its user-friendly interface. It's intuitive, straightforward, and easy to navigate. I also like its collaborative capabilities - from projects, to suggesting the library feature. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Loopio?

There are a few areas where Loopio could improve. The editor doesn’t include keyboard shortcuts for formatting, which makes content updates less efficient than they could be. The Duplicate Entries feature could also be more intuitive, with clearer options for choosing which entry to keep. During Project uploads, document mapping could be more flexible when identifying questions, sections, and subsections. In addition, the Library Backup export to Word would be much more useful with stronger formatting and document-structure options, since the current output often requires substantial cleanup afterward. "Streamlines RFP Responses with Ease"
4/5
What do you like best about Loopio?

I like the ease of use that Loopio offers. The automated answers are extremely helpful because they save time and prevent me from having to manually find different answers to complete a response. I also appreciate the various aspects of the library, which help keep our different products organized. With categories, sub-categories, and tagging, it becomes easy to distinguish what information is for what product. When using automated responses for an RFP, I can narrow down categories and tags to ensure we are only pulling from relevant resources and information. The library provides one central place to organize our responses and makes it easy to review and maintain. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Loopio?

I think Loopio could improve its importing and exporting capabilities, especially with PDFs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Hands down the best tool for B2B Proposals, RFPs, and Security Questionnaires on the market"
5/5
What do you like best about Loopio?

Still the best User Interface out of all the tools that I've used. Clean and simple navigation, powerful tools, and it's easy to train people. Their new features around AI have reduced the time to our first draft by about 70-80% and most of the answers are solid. The new Proposal Summary feature makes tracking deliverables more streamlined and user friendly. Their "Project Import" tool is the best on the market, helping proposal managers get their projects in front of their teams both accurate and very fast. All around, Loopio takes the pain out of responding to Tenders, RFPs, Security Questionnaires, and puts proposal managers in the driver seat better than anything else on the market. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Loopio?

Having attended a recent roadmap webinar, the only thing that they can improve they're already working on: Agentic AI that can be trained to help craft responses. The tool continues to remain fantastic, keeping focus on core functionality while expanding workflow functionality. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"An intuitive, intelligent and effortless way to work."
5/5
What do you like best about Loopio?

The system is highly intuitive and intelligently designed to streamline everyday processes. By automating routine tasks and presenting information in a clear, user-friendly way, it enables employees, managers and administrators to complete activities more efficiently, reducing manual effort and improving the overall user experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Loopio?

The only enhancement I'd like to see is the AI search function available outside of projects. Other than that, I'm very happy with the platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Efficient Data Management with Room for AI Upgrades"
5/5
What do you like best about Loopio?

I like the Document Library functionality and the fact that you can see prior responses. This helps us look at how we previously responded to various inquiries and maintain consistency in responses to vendor security and privacy assessments that we receive regularly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Loopio?

My sentiments remain the same. I don't like the proposal-building functionality. It could be more intuitive and have more AI functionality. Additionally, it would be nice if Loopio were a plug-in with Google Drive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Centralized platform makes RFP content management easier and faster"
4/5
What do you like best about Loopio?

Loopio has been responsive in taking and incorporating feedback regarding their generative AI features, specifically around the configurability of Get Answers so that users can limit the use of genAI vs stored answers for higher-risk responses such as for security risk assessments. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Loopio?

It would be interesting to see a Loopio MCP on the product roadmap. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
