I love how easy it is to structure a proposal format with Loopio. It keeps everything neat and organized. The mapping tool is especially helpful when importing documents. I appreciate Loopio's simple user interface, which allows me to navigate easily and efficiently without encountering any complex or hidden buttons. This intuitive design significantly enhances my user experience by making the process straightforward. I also love the ability to store answers under different stacks, which is incredibly helpful for organizing content. I am not satisfied with Loopio's Magic functionality. Despite the fact that there are relevant answers in the database, the Magic function often fails to deliver the right or even relevant answers to my questions. I've tried using it with different settings, but there is no noticeable difference in the quality of answers produced. While it offers responses to a number of questions, the accuracy and relevance remain problematic. Without the Magic function, my experience with Loopio is significantly better. I find Loopio really useful for streamlining the way we manage RFPs from a workflow perspective. It offers huge efficiencies in mapping questions, assigning owners, and makes dealing with RFPs so much smoother. The AI matching element that picks out relevant content from our library and matches it with the questions in an RFP is brilliant, saving us a lot of time. We've had really good feedback from the sales team; they enjoy using the platform as it makes it easier to track what's happening with their RFP. The comments, tagging, and review cycles features have been really beneficial. Additionally, Loopio is incredibly intuitive, and the resources they provide are really useful. It's early stages for us, so at the moment we're just blown away with how good the platform is.I imagine it's going to be quite difficult managing the huge number of library entries that we'll have from the different business units, not just for RFPs, but other teams in the business will be using Loopio for their due diligence questionnaires, security questionnaires, etcetera. Loopio makes managing client security questionnaires super easy. The keyword search and stack filtering help me find the right answers quickly. The dashboard gives a clear picture of projects and tasks, and reassigning work within the team is simple. Features like Project Database and “Last Updated by” make tracking updates easy. Reassigning requests to different LOBs in Loopio can be tricky, especially when some applications are outsourced and require manual exporting and emailing. I believe Loopio genuinely assists bid managers and other professionals, such as Solution Architects and Sales teams, in enhancing their RFI and RFP responses. I use Loopio to develop answers for technical portions of government proposal responses, and I like how it lets us save time by quickly accessing a library of curated content. The new AI features further reduce the time it takes to get answers, and I find it really helpful that Loopio indicates if content is AI-composed and provides citations. This is especially useful when asked where a bit of content came from. Importing the project outline, which breaks down the solicitation into required response sections, is another feature I appreciate. Sometimes the imports don't work. There was one project, neither my colleague nor I could get the solicitation (Excel sheet) to import. Kept getting an error message. On another project, I was reviewing the exported doc on the shared drive and there were several questions I couldn't find. I realized the import failed to include many questions from the solicitation. Good thing I double check my work because something like that could lead to a disqual. I ended up having to add them to the export manually, then add the answers to the Loopio library manually so we'd have them for the future. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

On the Admin side, Loopio's intuitive Library Management features make it easy to create, update, sort, and manage all RFP and security assessment content in a single source of truth. The Reviews from Projects feature is especially helpful for saving and deferring content changes to after a project is completed, so that I can focus on completing a project without having to worry about updating Library content as I go. Additionally, the new Scan from Portal feature has been a huge time-saver, given the increasing number of portals being used by our prospects and customers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The generative AI features, like Get Answers, need more configurability on the end-user side. For example, the generated responses are too "creative" sometimes, which poses a risk for security assessments. Other agentic AI tools provide the option to toggle between how strict or loose generated answers can be compared to their original data sources. Finding that middle ground between Get Answers (generative) vs. Run Magic (algorithmic) would improve credibility and trust in the generated answers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I appreciate Loopio's ability to streamline the RFP response process by getting to the first draft faster, which allows me to spend more time customizing and winning responses. The new AI features are tremendously helpful, especially when I don't have existing library content, as it generates an active starting point that saves time under tight timelines. I also value the library freshness/confidence pulse feature, which ensures the accuracy of our data by flagging content that needs review, helping maintain our credibility, especially in education RFPs. These aspects make Loopio an invaluable tool in managing RFPs and reducing the manual workload associated with copying, pasting, and collaborating on proposal drafts. I am frustrated that collaborators cannot comment or ask questions on specific sentences or paragraphs within a response entry. This limitation significantly slows down the collaboration process because if a collaborator needs to refer to a particular section but cannot pinpoint it easily, it causes delays. Additionally, I am looking forward to building out a go/no-go matrix within Loopio instead of using an external Excel sheet, as this functionality is currently not in place. Another issue I'm having is with the AI generated responses, while accurate, don't use customer-first language or some proposal best practices. I like that Loopio is fast and easy to use, making things simple for our team. The speed allows us to move on to other submissions quickly, helping us knock out more proposals at one time. Importing, exporting, and formatting present several challenges. For certain types of documentation, it can be complicated to assign the correct question and answer sections. Additionally, when exporting to Excel, the formatting and images are not preserved, which results in extra work to restore them.

There is also a lack of project admin rights. With many contributors working remotely, project admins do not have the ability to complete tasks or reviews on behalf of a specific person, even if that person has already finished their assigned questions or reviews. This limitation has become a significant source of frustration for many users.

The library document functionality is also quite limited. There are restrictions on how documents can be filed, and the current document search feature is not functioning as expected. Loopio is currently investigating these issues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
