Still nothing negative to review, all is still working very well for us! Everything is made easy with what I use Inova for. Being the payroll specialist for Straub's has been amazing and with the help of Inova, I have been able to excel and make this system work with me and not against me. **What problems is Inova Payroll solving and how is that benefiting you?** The ease of new hire checklists, onboarding, and payroll. Onboarding is still an area for improvement, but Inova is making that easy for our new hires! It is only a matter of connecting with my account manager and they make things easy! Also, payroll is being changed increasingly--the improvements are making payroll processing very easy. It is a nice touch also to know that the company is there to help when you need them most. It is a matter of calling and you are connected to people eager to help with any issue you may have. The header section on any page does not need to be SO TALL. The meat of the information below has limited space in which to view and operate. No one needs all that useless empty space in the header section. Come on now. =) **What problems is Inova Payroll solving and how is that benefiting you?** Before we discovered iNova over a decade ago, we were with a competing payroll company who had us using up two or three different payroll programs, strangely, to capture time and attendance, process payroll and for reports, where we had to reference employees by their employee ID number. iNova offered an all in one, centralized data system including all of the above in one program / service and allowed us to search via first or last names. We used to have employees punch in on a time card and then we would have to manually put in hours every single week into a payroll website and hope to God we didnt make any errors. With these options, all of our HR processes have been made electronic. **What do you dislike about Inova Payroll?** One of the downsides of Inova is that some of the reporting capabilities cannot be customized as much as we would like, even with the custom formula column. The reports got better with adding the charts, etc. but sometimes the screens seem outdated. Although very customizable, the ATS is doing its dutty to communicate with different job posting boards. Payroll is easy to operate. Also, i really enjoy the feature of being able to login as an employee and see their view **What do you dislike about Inova Payroll?** An issue we have been running into lately is that when processing payroll and importing a template, the error should be more specific as to helping you resolve what the issue is. sometimes it will just say something generic like 'name error' and not give a line number or details. While having an account manager that you email through support is nice, a more direct approach via phone or direct email would be better. I'm excited for the new functionality that has come out such as the survey option - we are currently utilizing an outside source for this and I'm thrilled to be able to pull this into our payroll system as well. **What do you dislike about Inova Payroll?** As far as the hiring process goes, I wish there was a way that a company administrator could reset passwords for the applicant portal and that there is a better way to distinguish the applicant profile and the actual application. We often have people who complete the applicant portal such as just their information but don't apply to the job, which can make it difficult for us to bring them on. I also would like to see the "workflow" in the applicant portal to have the required steps and they must be completed in a certain order to proceed.
