"Exceptional Logistics Solution for Remote Companies"
What do you like best about Firstbase?

I love that Firstbase has the logistical knowledge and infrastructure to handle global equipment procurement and recovery, making it possible for our remote-first company to supply equipment to employees worldwide. The Firstbase team is the best part; they are communicative, proactive, and always willing to help. They listen to feedback and are continually improving their platform and services. Their platform makes managing our equipment very easy, from monitoring usage to tracking shipments. I appreciate being able to empower employees to pick out their own peripherals. The platform saves my small, busy Corp IT team a lot of time since we no longer spend excessive time packaging and shipping equipment for new hires. Recovering equipment outside of the US is also manageable now, despite not having offices or IT staff in most countries where we have employees. What do you dislike about Firstbase?

Firstbase makes the whole remote equipment process feel simple. It takes a lot of the manual work off my plate, especially during onboarding and offboarding. Inventory is easy to track, orders go out without much fuss, and things generally just work the way they should. It saves me time and helps keep our hardware workflow from turning into a headache. What do you like best about Firstbase?

Firstbase has significantly simplified the management of our physical assets. The platform itself is intuitive and easy to use, which has been a huge win for our team. We manage a high volume of shipments, and the fact that a single person can handle that workload efficiently speaks volumes about the platform’s design and scalability.

Their warehouse operations are consistently reliable, with equipment arriving on time and in excellent condition. The team behind the scenes is clearly well-organized and dependable.

Our account managers have also been a pleasure to work with. They’re responsive, communicative, and proactive in addressing our needs. As a company, Firstbase demonstrates a genuine commitment to partnering with their customers and evolving alongside them. What do you dislike about Firstbase?

There isn’t anything I truly dislike about Firstbase. If I had to name one limitation, it would be that their international coverage for shipping and retrieval isn’t as broad as some larger or more established competitors. That said, this feels more like a natural reflection of a company still scaling rather than a shortcoming.

Importantly, they’ve shown a real willingness to expand based on customer needs. I’ve made a few requests related to specific regions recently, and the team was receptive and responsive, which gives me confidence in their long-term flexibility and growth. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Efficient Global Logistics But Needs Faster Shipping"
What do you like best about Firstbase?

I like the ability to spin up warehouses in target geos, which allows me to procure products locally instead of having to ship everything from the US. This feature makes it possible for me to purchase a laptop in Germany, have it arrive in our EU warehouse, and then easily get it to the local contact. What do you dislike about Firstbase?

Sometimes speed is the biggest issue internationally, not every location has expedited shipping. It took a while to come up with a standard inventory list, and ship all of our current inventory there. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Firstbase has truly addressed all of our ongoing asset management concerns. From onboarding and offboarding to asset delivery, inventory tracking, expectation management, and customer support, they have consistently exceeded our expectations. The platform itself feels fresh and modern, with continual improvements that keep it up to date. Customer support is both prompt and thorough. As a global company, we would appreciate it if Firstbase could expand its coverage to more countries, since we have employees located in various regions. Because some countries are not currently supported, we have occasionally had to find alternative solutions, such as making local purchases or, in some cases, asking new hires to handle these arrangements themselves. What do you like best about Firstbase?

Firstbase has simplified our global asset management process into one easy to run location. From updating inventory to newer devices, keeping track of lifecycle of old devices, it's all easy to implement. What do you dislike about Firstbase?

Occasionally, deliveries and retrievals of devices can take quite a long time to complete in some Geographies. This makes sense to me and is not uncalled for, as I know that some regions of the world are not as developed as other places in terms of delivery infrastructure. This is a slight annoyance to me, but since this stems from the fact that other people handle deliveries and retrievals for us, the pros FAR outweigh the cons. What do you like best about Firstbase?

Logistics for a remote team are a nightmare that can consume a huge amount of time for IT. Firstbase steps in and the nightmare becomes a sweet dream with cotton candy clouds and babbling brooks of lemonade. Machines get to our new employees on time, all the time. When we have to collect a machine, Firstbase sends the whole return kit.

What do you dislike about Firstbase?

If you are a 100% remote company (like us) there are no real downsides.
