"The one tool to level up your online customer experience"
What do you like best about Contentsquare?

Whether you are working in CX design, UX design, or CRO, Contentsquare is the tool to use at the center of your methodology.

It allows having key insights and observations you would typically not be able to have without a heavy workload and resources.

Contentsquare mixes quantitative and qualitative data in such a way it redefines your way of working.

Key features are : journey analysis, advanced zoning analysis and session replays. They allow you to have a 360 view of what is actually happening on your website or application. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Contentsquare?

The initial setup of the tool is not the easiest with the initial mapping, and you need to have a good methodology to keep the mapping up to date.

It requires a lot of attention to guarantee your observations are accurate. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great tool to watch the customer's journey on your website"
What do you like best about Contentsquare?

I like seeing what steps a customer performs when navigating the website. Seeing where the customer has frustrations is also an added plus. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Contentsquare?

I'm new to the took and the downside is not being able to see exactly what is causing frustrations for a customer. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Actionable Insights at your fingertips!"
What do you like best about Contentsquare?

This platform is a must if you want to get closer to your customer's behaviour. The insights are really powerful and frequent in many of my presentations.

From understanding and comparing your customer journeys and pages to an on-the-fly review of interactions and attractiveness of your site with CS Live, it's a product manager's dream!

Implementation was smooth and the Contentsquare team held our hand throughout. Only a small amount of configuration and you're ready to go. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Contentsquare?

It is tough to find faults in Contentsquare's analytical platform. If I had to pick one thing I would say that the first attempts at setting up zoning for a/b tests were a little tricky but the CS team spent time talking me through what I needed and I was all set. "I would highly recommend Contentsquare to any company looking to optimize their website"
What do you like best about Contentsquare?

I have been using Contentsquare for several months, and it has quickly become an essential tool for our team. The platform provides deep insights into user behavior and allows us to optimize our website in ways we never thought possible.

What I love most about Contentsquare is how easy it is to use. The interface is intuitive and user-friendly, making it simple to dive deep into the data and extract meaningful insights. The platform's visualizations are especially helpful, as they allow us to quickly identify areas for improvement and take action to make our website more user-friendly.

Another thing that sets Contentsquare apart is its customer support. Whenever we have a question or issue, their team is quick to respond and incredibly helpful. They have gone above and beyond to ensure that we get the most out of the platform, and I can't thank them enough for their support. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Contentsquare?

It's an incredibly powerful tool that has helped us make data-driven decisions and improve our online presence in meaningful ways. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Helps us to identify and resolve our key customer frustrations"
What do you like best about Contentsquare?

I love how easy it is to dig deeper into the data via the shortcuts, and how we can segment the data in all sorts of different ways. The visualisations bring the data to life so brilliantly, and the different metrics available in zoning analysis have given us a new level of insight we've never had before. The frustration score has also helped us identify customer frustrations that we weren't previously aware of, and the session replays are invaluable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Contentsquare?

I find creating and updating mappings a bit painful, especially as we're constantly adding new pages to our site. The recent updates have made things a bit easier though.

We've also had a few issues with our testing and analytics tool integrations. Sometimes they work brilliantly, and are so useful, but we've struggled with getting the data we need at other times. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Perfect for A/B test analysis"
What do you like best about Contentsquare?

I work in experimentation, and Contentsquare makes analysis of our A/B tests simple. The platform is very engaging and allows me to gather insights quickly, which are visually appealing and easy to digest. This makes sharing the data and insights with stakeholders and other team members who might not be familiar with digital tools easy.

I can get all the insights I need quickly and easily, which is especially useful when we're on a short timescale. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Contentsquare?

Contentsquare can take some time to become familiar with, especially for users like myself who haven't used tools like CS before.

However, the CS University courses and the CS community have been a great help, and I now find myself using the tool with ease. I've also attended a number of live training courses held by Contentsquare which I found very valuable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Valuable User Experience Insights with great support!"
What do you like best about Contentsquare?

Very user friendly and visual. Pretty much all of the modules are great. The overall website and page performance data from the tool are very useful. The Zonings and Journey Analysis modules are pretty cool in terms of how users interact with pages and where they go to after page they landed on. You can also see which page users landed on when arriving on the website (e.g. homepage, category and product pages). The recently added funnel feature on Journey Analysis is really valuable. Very ideal at looking at areas like Checkout completition. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Contentsquare?

Hard to think of a downside to the tool. You may pay at a premium for the tool but the return of investment will be worth it for organisations if the tool wasn't implemented. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great, actionable insights the whole business can use"
What do you like best about Contentsquare?

CS Live is definitely the best part of the tool. It allows me and the wider team to conduct analysis quickly and efficiently, without loads of training. These are the insights that are the most sharable and appreciated by the wider business too. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Contentsquare?

I find some of the navigation round the tool quite clunky, for example making or editing mappings and trying to use zonings which mean I have to ensure other elements are also in place.

I would also like to be able to save reports. It's very ad-hoc so I always am repeating analyses. Would be great if I could create a report suite of different anaysis I've already conducted i.e journey analysis with the conditions set. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Makes Journey and Page Element analysis easy"
What do you like best about Contentsquare?

The Journey Analysis tool simplifies journey analytics vs a program like Google Analytics, and is very visual - this is great for explaining to stakeholders.

Zoning Analysis allows me to easily analyse elements of a page and make informed decisions about how to optimise the page for both user experience and revenue return. I also love that I can export this data into Excel for further analysis.

Impact Quantification is great for putting revenue figures to site defects or Customer Journey frustration points. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Contentsquare?

Journey Analysis results are not exportable as a table.

Though the Mappings function has been improved, the system does not logically add rules when you split pages - it repeats the entire ruleset and adds an extra criterion, which quickly fills up rules in Page Groupings (and then requires you to manually go through and delete them when it is overloaded).

I have to create separate mappings for Desktop and Mobile versions of the same page in Zoning Analysis, which wastes time (and is also at odds with CS Live which allows me to select 'all devices' rather than having to do each analysis separately).

I can't upload a CSV/XLSX list of Mapping Criteria to create a mapping/page group - if I exported a set of pages from another tool and could upload them to ContentSquare, this would save me so much time over manually inputting the criteria.

Some metric criteria/calculations are not well-explained - I need detailed information about how metrics are calculated so that I can explain this to stakeholders. The account managers are always helpful with finding this information for me, but it would be great to have a repository of this information somewhere on-site.
