It advantageously replaces 3 tools: trigger email , A/Btesting, product recommendation within a single solution, and 1 user ID facilitating omnichannel personalized experiences.
In addition, the server-side APIs potentially allow for an unlimited number of use cases.

I love the fact that you can preview your changes before you go live with them, and that you can basically edit add/remove anything from the website in an easy way. The option to receive a notification email when test results are in, is great so you don't have to regularly check for results. All in one tool. You not only can activate personalized content for your audience but also, you can create A/B test within the tool. Also, you can send customized emails campaigns or emails based on user actions (e.g. shopping cart recovery)
The predictive targeting engine is also great allowing you to find hidden personalization opportunities.
The tools have a lot of pre-created modules, i.e. adding a recommendation widget or a promotion counter to your site is really easy and fast

The visual edit functionality is brilliant - being able to make quick changes to HTML and CSS on site makes day-to-day changes much quicker.
The A/B testing functionality is also very good (admittedly we have a separate team to code for us) but they have always had a positive experience with DY, and as such we're able to seamlessly launch some quite complex tests on quick rotation.

The ease of use of some of the basic elements is not as user-friendly as I'd like. For example changing some images on site require coding as opposed to a quick visual edit. Selecting div's is also quite convoluted, a simple up/down function within a nested div would be very useful indeed and ensure you're selecting the correct element. Quick on-boarding - we really pushed Dynamic Yield to have the software up and running on our platform in less than a month, this was achieved through effective collaboration between our ecom and dev teams and the DY on-boarding team.

Dynamic Yield is myfirst choice for AB testing and personalization. The tool enables us to setup a test very quickly and give a try for new approches in CRO. The platform is easy to use despite having so much to offer and do with it. Our Senior Customer Success Manager Doron has been great at setting us all up and ensuring we are comfortable using the platform which has led to us launching several tests and experiences within the first few weeks of using DY. We have constant support from Doron and the team and they will always go over and above to make sure we can put out ideas in to motion whilst keeping us on the right track when we might sometimes get a bit carried away!
It's really easy to set up tests/experiences and preview them before going live which is so handy on our busy team to check our work before we put it live. This has helped iron out any issues before we put something on the site.

Dynamic Yield is a good choice if you have (and of course you have) a restriction of IT-Ressources handy for Marketing Use Cases. It's an easy tool for AB-Tests and Personalization Use Cases. There are a lot of templates you can choose from and use basic HTML and CSS to edit it according to your needs and you webshop's CI. The Customer Success Manager and the Technical Engineer who are your contact persons are very helpful developing high value use cases and are always very fast in response time if a question pops up. The support team is always just a chat window away.

The Preview Mode could be improved. It would be great if it's possible to upload your Webshops Font into the templates as well as standard elements like a CTA-Button.
