What do you like best about Codility?

* Good questions

* No need to give individual homework to candidates as Codility already implements assessment about his/her technical background

* Great assessment tool

* Technically suitable exercises about the development language

* Dashboard is nice to show the results for the candidate and shows which arias candidate is good and at which areas candidate is not

What do you dislike about Codility?

* Time is not enough. Some questions are really complex and requires more time. I think time / complexity of Codility exams should be enhanced

* I think dashboard for the exam result should be enhanced.

* Also the results of the exam should be sent to the user by email notification

* Maybe codility can be enable. debugging funtionality as well as it does not provide debugging and running so the user needs to user IDE. to test or debug his/her code Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering Codility:

* Time / Complexity of the questions should be improved. Sometimes candidate finds time as the exams are hard . So if the questions or the algorithms are hard to implement then Time should also be increased as well .

What problems is Codility solving and how is that benefiting you?

* Make assesment about if a candidate is suitable to become a good developer

What do you like best about Codility?

I appreciate the organization of material in combination with the quick thorough feedback. Each lesson includes a pdf as well as exercises. The interface has a professional feel while reports include academic detail such as performance in terms of time complexity. At the same time, having such quick feedback provides the same feel and thrill as gaming. All these attributes combined create a nice balance between a serious tool without losing the challenges reminiscent of puzzles or video games. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Codility?

I don't like the lack of explanation of mathematical theories implicit behind some of the algorithms being taught. I think at the very least there should be links available. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering Codility:

I would recommend it to any developer looking to practice algorithms and improve the quality of their coding and logic.

As for employers, I would recommend they use Codility to find candidates who do well under pressure and have a strong understanding of algorithms. I would also recommend relying on other tools in parallel such as resumes and interviews. The scope of codility is limited feedback because it takes a snapshot, and of only a few of the skills necessary in a good employee. What problems is Codility solving and how is that benefiting you?
