I wrote half of my solution outside of Codility in VScode (just for the sake of quickly compiling and better error print outs) but this meant that my VSCode tabs indentation when placed back into Codility meant that I couldn't correctly compile or convert back to spaces. ### 45. This allows both the interviewer and interviewee to view it as a 'pair programming IDE' where the interviewer can discuss stuff with the interviewee - A huge problem I've seen on other online interviewing platforms is unappealing theming. Question descriptions are images instead of text, making zooming in super hard on other platforms. Codility makes descriptions clear with the contrasting fonts. ### 46. Simple explanation of the IDE before starting a test. Easy to use and to run your code against each test cases. **What do you dislike about Codility?** Not much downsides. It might be nice to have the option of adding custom test cases. **What problems is Codility solving and how is that benefiting you?** It helped me test my developping skills, and show my recruiter that I'm qualified for the job. It also showed me detailed results so I can know how I was evaluated, and how well I've performed on the tasks. ### 47. Demo test gave fair idea of the actual test and the result at the end was detailed. **What do you dislike about Codility?** When I completed the test, my test got automatically submitted. It would be bad user experience in case I had submitted brute force and wanted to come back to a problem for optimisation. **What problems is Codility solving and how is that benefiting you?** Codility provides a platform to the Tech companies to conduct online assessment tests for their candidates in order to assess them upon Data Structures and Algorithms and problem solving skills. Codility provides a super intuitive UI with a tour guide at the start of the test, which seems to be missing in many such platforms. The benefit that we as a candidate get is that, if the platform has good UI and problems, we would be focusing on doing the problem instead of going through the hassle of finding components like Custom test, Submit button, Run tests, etc., and would have decent problems to assess our skills against. A good editor having functionalities like autocomplete and with plenty of options to choose our programming language is a big plus which benefits a lot. ### 48. I loved that the Clock gave notice when time was running out (10 Minutes left). Overall very easy to write down the solution and to submit it, without needing to learn the platform first. **What do you dislike about Codility?** The question itself, which is the most crucial part of the exam, was not arranged in comfortable way to read as the intro was too much in general, and the subtasks were'nt listed, but rather all out. The question itself, could have been good to value a candidate if only the text was "to the point" to tell you what they expect you to answer back (as they give in coding tasks) **What problems is Codility solving and how is that benefiting you?** Technical tasks in general subjects of QA testing. ### 49.
