"Codility a great tool!"
What do you like best about Codility?

It is a professional, well-organized tool for evaluating coding abilities. The user can practice with the help of the lessons and challenges, and the summary part makes it clear where they need to improve and where they are doing well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Codility?

I don't have any comments on things I dislike or wish to improve. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Codility?

Wish there was more variety of tasks available for some languages and platforms such as React Native and Cypress. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Efficient and user friendly technical assessment tool"
What do you like best about Codility?

Codility is a user-friendly technical assessment tool that provides a wide bank of questions (with answers) to assess the skills of a wide variety of technical profiles, from Developers to Data Scientists, Operations Engineers and more. Codility's bank of questions is its bigger asset in my opinion, it allows you to mix your in-house questions with Codility questions from the bank. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Codility?

Codility is not only an asynchronous assessment tool, there is also a synchronous assessment feature allowing companies to test technical skills during live interviews ; the interface (IDE) is good, *but* this way of assessing candidates is not well spread in most companies, and having an onboarding toolbox, or a change management toolkit, to embark hiring manager on this kind of assessment, would be a great addition to the existing features Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"The best real life code challenges"
What do you like best about Codility?

It is the best coding challenge I have seen in the market. especially their real-life challenges are amazing and they have a lot of ready-made tasks to go. You can even make a test about the technology you have no expert on. It will show you the statistics of the test so that you know what to expect. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Codility?

The biggest thing I hate is the lack of customization on the first introduction page. I can't change anything about it. and I need to change only one thing. it says Hint: YOu can use your own IDE. And I don't want that. it doesn't show me how they got the solution and also when they get flagged for similarity I don't know if he copy-pasted the code from his friends or worked on his IDE. I mostly write don't use your IDE on the invite email but it makes the candidates more confused to see it on the first starting page. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Good platform with potential to grow and top notch support"
What do you like best about Codility?

Codility has proven to be an already well-established platform for technical screening, and helped us fast-track and smooth out our evaluation processes.

The platform has been improving constantly in terms of UX/UI and adding features quite quickly.

The support provided by the account manager has been top-notch both in terms of speed and listening to feedback. It has been since the beginning a constant feedback loop that improved, I believe, both the platform and the way we use it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Codility?

Codility business model changed in the last few months, not for the best at times.

The product is very focused on providing a rich and wide library of tests, but I would appreciate more focus on usability both from a candidate perspective and a company perspective. Implementing custom tests, pulling custom reports and overall the functionalities are a bit limited when compared to some of the competitors.

The analytics side would deserve more attention, again both in terms of flexibility and usability. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"We did a lot of comparison and Codility fit the best for a small startup"
What do you like best about Codility?

The upside is cost and the efficiency of that cost. Obviously more coding problems and details would be good, but up to a certain point, more does not mean better. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Codility?

I think it does lack problem variety than the other companies, but if the interviews itself or the live coding is done additional rather than the only test, it is not really a necessity but more of a nice to have Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Minimum effort for maximum results!"
What do you like best about Codility?

In the past, we often hired the wrong people because we didn't check their programming skills or didn't check them enough. With Codility, we were able to achieve a higher quality of recruitment and fewer false recruitments. Codility is also very easy to use. Minimum effort for maximum results. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Codility?

Oh, there is nothing that I really dislike. Ok, the tool only checks the skills and not the candidate's personality. But that's anyway not what I expect from the tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A versatile and effective tool"
What do you like best about Codility?

Codility is an excellent tool for assessing the coding skills of potential candidates. The interface is intuitive and user-friendly, making it simple to view the candidate's steps in developing their solutions. This makes it an ideal way to identify applicants with the required coding skills for positions in our technology department. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Codility?

There are a few cons to using Codility. One is that it can be relatively expensive compared to alternative options. Another drawback is that there is no way to automate the sending of email reminders to test-takers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
