"Flexible, reliable commission platform with great support"
What do you like best about CaptivateIQ?

The platform effectively manages complex compensation plans and provides a user-friendly interface for sales representatives. Its fast processing helps minimize the need for commission adjustments in future months. The CaptivateIQ team is consistently responsive and a pleasure to work with. I also appreciate their ongoing commitment to including end-users in meetings and trainings. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about CaptivateIQ?

There can be a slight learning curve when working with highly complex plans, but once you become familiar with the tools and workflows, it becomes much easier to maintain and make adjustments as needed. I look forward to continued enhancements to the reporting features, as the current advanced reporting can be challenging to manage when combining multiple plans and metrics into a single dashboard. "A great tool that allows me to preview my bonuses"
What do you like best about CaptivateIQ?

CaptivateIQ feels like a breath of fresh air for anyone who has ever spent a weekend trapped in "Excel Hell" trying to reconcile commissions. Here’s why it’s a game-changer:

Logic Without the Headache: The platform strikes a perfect balance between power and usability. You get the flexibility of complex, spreadsheet-like logic but within a sophisticated, automated environment that doesn't break every time you add a new hire.

Total Transparency: It bridges the trust gap between Finance and Sales. Reps get a clear, real-time dashboard of their earnings, which means fewer "Where is my money?" Slack messages and more time spent actually selling.

Seamless Scalability: Whether you’re managing ten reps or a thousand, the system handles data ingestion and calculation effortlessly. It’s built to grow with your comp plans, no matter how creative (or complicated) they get.

The "Peace of Mind" Factor: The audit trails and versioning are top-tier. You can make adjustments with total confidence, knowing that every change is tracked and every calculation is accurate. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about CaptivateIQ?

Reporting Flexibility: While the dashboards are clean, sometimes getting a highly specific, ad-hoc report out of the system can feel a bit rigid. A more "drag-and-drop" custom report builder would make those last-minute leadership requests much easier to handle.

Data Sync Delays: Occasionally, when syncing large volumes of data from a CRM, it can take a moment for the updates to reflect. It’s not a dealbreaker, but in a world of instant gratification, faster real-time processing would be the icing on the cake.

UI Navigation: As the system grows and you add more plans and workbooks, the interface can start to feel a little crowded. A more streamlined navigation menu or a "search-to-find" feature for specific folders would save a few extra clicks every day. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Needed software for all client facing teams that get commission payouts"
What do you like best about CaptivateIQ?

Easy breakdown of every result in your comp plan and in-detail analysis of why your comp is what it is + what it could be in a month when youre still trying to forecast, which obv makes it great because itll push you to go that extra little bit + maximize comp. Very easy to navigate as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about CaptivateIQ?

Load times have improved significantly but still not a fan of their Reporting layouts. I still find it tough to easily get a full picture of team payout performances in a snapshot. I would prefer more ability to do custom reporting inside of the dashboard and view results over time. I find it difficult to do so now Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Empowering, Transparent, and Scalable Commission Platform"
What do you like best about CaptivateIQ?

CaptivateIQ stands out for its clarity and transparency. The platform offers a detailed breakdown of commission structures, enabling our team to track earnings and performance effortlessly. The ability to customize logic based on unique plans is a huge plus, and the interface is intuitive even for non-technical users. It’s especially helpful during review cycles and when aligning incentives with performance. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about CaptivateIQ?

While the platform is solid overall, initial implementation can be a bit complex depending on your compensation plan structure. Some advanced configurations require involvement from their support or technical teams. Also, the platform could benefit from more native integrations with smaller CRMs or ERP systems. However, the support team is responsive and usually helps resolve such challenges quickly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"CaptivateIQ Makes Commissions Easy"
What do you like best about CaptivateIQ?

Having administered CaptivateIQ at my organization for over four years, I've successfully navigated numerous compensation plan changes — both mid-year adjustments and full fiscal year overhauls — entirely independently, without ever requiring assistance from customer support.

One of the platform's greatest strengths is the real-time commission visibility it provides to our sales team. When sellers have a clear, accurate view of their earnings at any point during a given period, it reduces ambiguity, builds trust in the process, and allows them to stay focused on what matters most: closing deals. What do you dislike about CaptivateIQ?

As a loyal CaptivateIQ user of over four years, I can say with confidence that my experience with the platform has been consistently seamless and without issue. The tool has proven itself time and again as a reliable, high-performing solution that has become an integral part of my day-to-day workflow.

That said, as someone who values consistency and operational efficiency, I occasionally find that certain updates and new feature rollouts introduce added complexity to a product that, quite frankly, already excels at what it was designed to do. CaptivateIQ has built something genuinely impressive, and there is real merit in preserving the simplicity and intuitiveness that made it so effective in the first place.

I want to be clear — I deeply appreciate the team's commitment to continuous improvement and innovation, and I fully recognize that as a single customer, my use case represents just one perspective among many. Different organizations have different needs, and what works beautifully for my team may not be sufficient for others. However, for my purposes, a streamlined and straightforward experience will always take precedence over additional features. In this case, less truly is more. What do you like best about CaptivateIQ?

Visibility into my commission with integration into our CRM. CaptivateIQ makes the often frustrating process of commission tracking clear, fast, and empowering. For any sales org scaling fast or looking to keep their reps motivated and informed, it's a must-have. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about CaptivateIQ?

If your employer changes compensation structures quarterly, the dashboard often does not reflect the quota attainment accurately. The HR team must update how our compensation is reflected on the dashboard for CaptivateIQ to accurately reflect it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A great platform to understand your commission"
What do you like best about CaptivateIQ?

I like the quick snapshot of my monthly commission payout it provides when I log in, and it is also easy to navigate and find what I am looking for. I also like being able to preview the next statement. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about CaptivateIQ?

I think one thing that would be great to see is tax deductions built in to my commission, so I can get a more realistic view of what I will be taking home. Sure, I could do the math myself...but would it also be possible to link to my ADP or something else so the data passes back and forth for one holistic view? "Seamless commissions"
What do you like best about CaptivateIQ?

I can view my commissions in real time, so as soon as a month or quarter ends, I already know exactly how much I’ve earned. That level of transparency is really reassuring. What I appreciate most is that I only need to log in—there’s no extra effort on my part to check my compensation. :-)

On top of that, their customer support is excellent, and I rely on it daily. The integration was completed a few years ago at the very beginning, and since then I haven’t run into any issues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about CaptivateIQ?

So far, I haven’t come across anything I dislike. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"CaptivateIQ - Easy to use, responsive and concise!"
What do you like best about CaptivateIQ?

The platform has a very user-friendly interface and makes it easy to quickly access payout information.

I appreciate that it takes me directly to my commissions without unnecessary navigation.

The option to export statements as PDF or Excel files is a helpful feature as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about CaptivateIQ?

The platform works well overall, but a modernized UI refresh could enhance the user experience, as some parts of the interface are starting to feel a bit dated.

Maybe some AI to cleanup the data would be nice. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Captivate IQ + Commission"
What do you like best about CaptivateIQ?

I love that it's an easy way to be able to understand how, what, when, and why I am being paid out the way that I am. I also love that I can kind of peer into the future and use this data accordingly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about CaptivateIQ?

Sometimes, the interface is a bit more complex/wonky than I anticipated but nothing that wasn't easy to adjust with a little bit of training. I do think UI/UX could still use clearer flows but it's not bad. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
