It's also user-friendly for the employees. I love how I can always get in touch with a real person, and not just any person, but the one actually handling my needs. This is a refreshing change from massive payroll companies that don't care. The ease of use of the software is another plus, and the initial setup was very easy because the team guided us through every step. These features, combined with the outstanding service, make Everee invaluable to us. **What do you dislike about Everee?** Everee is still growing in areas such as invoice implementation for our clients, and we would love if there could be multiple pay periods for the pay groups. **What problems is Everee solving and how is that benefiting you?** Everee provides terrific service, easy payroll processing, and credit terms for staffing companies, making it user-friendly for employees. ### 2. There is a lot of flexibility to make changes as needed as the employer. I also love that as an employee, you can choose your pay frequency. **What do you dislike about Everee?** The business owner does have to pass a credit check in order to do the daily pay for their employees. I understand why this is in place but the daily pay is one of the main perks that is advertised. **What problems is Everee solving and how is that benefiting you?** Everee provides an easy to clock in and out software that is accessible from both a phone and a computer. It is provides flexibility in the pay frequency if the needs differ between the employer and employee. ### 3. Our employees like that Everee allows us to pay out faster than our old provider. Customer service has been very responsive when I've had questions or needed help during onboarding. The interface is clean and intuitive, I'm able to figure out how to do what I need to without sitting through hours of training. Payroll clerks can easily update and adjust payruns as needed which has taken a lot of pressure off of me. **What do you dislike about Everee?** Some of the reporting is still in an early stage but Everee has been very responsive and made sure we've always had what we needed on time. I ran into a few errors during the onboarding process but I've been told that a new onboarding module is set to release shortly which will address the problems I ran into. Currently terminating an employee requires help from the Everee team, I understand this should be remedied in the next few weeks. **Recommendations to others considering Everee:** Speaking as a start-up executive it works fantastically for what we need. **What problems is Everee solving and how is that benefiting you?** Most payroll systems are cumbersome and difficult to administer, Everee has streamlined much of the experience and allowing employees faster pay cycles reduces requests for one-off pay cycles on my end. The employee / payroll admin relationship has been healthier since implementing Everee, fewer requests for information or training due to Everee's intuitive and simple interface. ### 4. There are not very many options available, but you don't need them most of the time. Customer service was prompt and solid when I needed them. I needed them to help out with my withholdings stuff--(see below). The customer service rep actually went through and did a bunch of calculations for me. That was really nice. Getting paid every week is nice...but really not essential to me. Splitting between bank accounts is a cool feature though. **What do you dislike about Everee?** I either couldn't find or could edit my withholdings. That's a problem to me. I also saw my SSN in plaintext. Odds are that it's not a huge problem, but it's generally a security faux pas to do that. My profile won't let me edit my phone number either. Just in general, the dashboard is not very full-featured. You have what you need/expect from a payroll company, but when you need to change stuff, I'm missing a few things. **Recommendations to others considering Everee:** It does what you need and is much more modern than most other payroll systems. It's young, so don't expect all of the bells and whistles, but it does the job. **What problems is Everee solving and how is that benefiting you?** Every handles payroll, nothing more, nothing less for me. It does what I expect, but very little above that. ### 5. Makes closing books and making accrual entries very easy. Processing payroll is quick and easy and I can process it right on my phone which is nice. I also like that Everee includes a clock in/clock out feature for tracking hourly employees that is right in the app. The UI/UX interface is fantastic and simple to follow. Everee also recently has started to include an import feature that allows you to do mass import for more complex payroll processing that needs to be done outside the system. And of course, the pay your way. It's a good feature and certainly is nice to be able to give the option to employees. **What do you dislike about Everee?** There have been some quirks with the mobile app, (but what software doesn't have quirks?). Also would like more integrations with third-party software. Everee is not an HRIS system, but has the core function of processing payroll down pat. As more and more integrations are done, the everee experience will only get better. **Recommendations to others considering Everee:** It's a good core payroll software that will get your payroll needs taken care of. The pay your way feature is certainly a plus, especially for hourly employees. **What problems is Everee solving and how is that benefiting you?** Payroll is something that needs to be done on-time, and is must be correct. Everee has made it easier and quicker for me to process payroll. I also can access the historical data that I need in a consistent and quick manner to ensure that closing my books is a breeze. When I was searching for a tool, I wanted something that was easy to use and offered a good experience for our employees. Everee fit the bill and our employees have been happy with the change. In addition, the ability to offer a "Pay your way" type offering where employees can choose their own pay schedule is a nice perk to offer. ### 6. Simple pricing. Simple setup. Simple use. **What do you dislike about Everee?** Honestly, I like the whole thing. The hardest part was getting all the government items setup for the first time. All platforms that I've used in the past are annoying to navigate, and poorly organized, resulting in a relatively difficult learning curve. Everee, on the other hand, is clean and simple, and it's immediately apparent where everything is. **What do you dislike about Everee?** Currently, the list of features is a little bit sparse. It's a young platform, so the offering lacks some of the more sophisticated tools that other platforms might have, but that hasn't been a big issue in my experience so far. **Recommendations to others considering Everee:** Ensure that the platform contains all the essential features that you need, since they're still young and working on many common features. If they're lacking something you need, reach out and ask them about it; they're moving quickly, so it's likely the feature you need is already in-development and/or that they're willing to work with you to make sure you have it soon. **What problems is Everee solving and how is that benefiting you?** Employee payroll being submitted consistently and frequently, with basic features like time logging and the ability to view pay stubs. ### 12. It would have been cool to have been able to send a pdf of a paystub to an email address. It would be similar to how you can share pictures from your phone. There is a share button and I can input the email address. **What problems is Everee solving and how is that benefiting you?** I think for our business we want to provide employees with a personalized experience. Easy to use and straight forward UI. **What do you dislike about Everee?** Had a small amount of trouble getting two bank accounts' direct deposit split properly. The amount you enter when adding the second (fixed amount) account is a monthly amount, not the amount you would like split per paycheck. Not a big issue, it does indicate this but not in the most clear way. There are multiple apps on the web and getting from one to another is a bit confusing at first. **Recommendations to others considering Everee:** I don’t make the decisions for payroll in my company but ease of implementation with users can affect adoption. That doesn't work, and it took me a little while to see the small blue "Back" that actually takes me back to the history list. The word "Back" blends into the line below my name on the page, so I didn't see it at first. Even changing your pin or password requires talking to support. Managing payroll distribution, updating literally anything, and the design of the employee facing views are in poor order. **What problems is Everee solving and how is that benefiting you?** I'm unaware of any problem Everee is solving that other platforms haven't already solved besides a different "method" of paying employees. ### 21.
