The tools for sales users are stellar. With the Act-On Anywhere plugin for Gmail and Outlook, our sales staff is able to upload marketing approved content directly into their email body, and then get real time updates when contacts open and click on the message. From there, sales can log into the Act-On Sales Portal and track known visitors and their history on our websites.

Excellent and easy to build journeys and automations complete with great support and training. The team at Act-On really scaffolded our squad and this has really helped us adopt and learn the new skills. This wasn't the case with all of the various firms for which we reviewed their offerings. We love the analytics and the ability to download our data into richer and more specific reporting to our needs. In addition, the integration within MS Dynamics has moved us into a proactive pipeline development program, understanding when and how our customers are leveraging our content (or not) and being able to identify great leads. The interface is inconsistent in spots, such as the design tools for emails versus landing pages. HTML layout is also sometimes not "what you see is what you get" -- you get different renderings in different email clients and browsers. Lead scoring is a little complicated. The difficulty that comes with trying to interface with CRMs. It is not an Act-On Issue but an issue on both sides and can be frustrating. I wish there was a better folder system to organize. Act-On makes it so easy to send out newsletters to hundreds of targeted emails in our health system. Mailing lists are easy to update and upload. Our talented graphics designers create beautiful newsletters in Act-On, which I join to mailing lists...and off they go!

I don't see any downsides at the moment. If I were required in my job to do more than my particular Act-On task, and had to really slice and dice the data at a granular level, I might find some. But I haven't thus far.

1) Act-On is brave enough to take on product enhancements and actually listens to client feedback. They aren’t afraid of change; they embrace it. The marketing industry is constantly changing, so I HAVE to know my vendor isn’t afraid to adapt.
2) When Act-On does make enhancements, they are fantastic. I’m not a coder (Like...at all). I don’t know how to code in any capacity. The best part of Act-On is that it is PERFECT for someone like me. The interface is so easy to use and quick to learn.

For us, the most helpful feature, apart from being able to send out lots of emails every day, is the ability to create forms and embed them on our website or a landing page (which we made in Act-On) quickly. We also like the ability to connect Act-On directly to our CRM.
