"Best Bang for the Buck"

What do you like best?

It is straight away the best bang for the buck. Given the feature sets and price, you cant beat it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

It's not a knock directly against ActOn, but as a category (marketing automation) I would always like to see better reporting and more actionable sales things...pertaining to better lead scoring and a more sales-aligned section. Again, this goes for all Marketing Automation platforms. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

ActOn is a stand out. I would recommend looking at Marketo, Pardot, ROI, and Infusionsoft to get the whole picture...take demos. Again, if you are after the bang for the buck, ActOn is the clear winner. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Former Act-On User, Moved to other Marketing Automation platform"

What do you like best?

Act-On is very inexpensive and relatively easy to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

Extremely high turnover of client facing personnel. in the 2 years we used the application, we had no less than 5 sales/CSM personnel work our account, as people were constantly leaving the company. The user interface was very basic and felt cheap, which was a review I saw before selecting Act-On, but became more apparent when looking at other options after our negative customer experience. Recommendations to others considering the product:

Really consider what you value. Act-On lists pricing very similar to other Marketing Automation softwares, but they will offer deep discounting to get your business. When we emailed the same prospects in Act-On and Pardot we had much different delivery rates, so the reputation of Act-On's IP addresses was suspect. They may have improved that, but it is definitely a point to ask about. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We were able to track and engage customers with emails, website and social media content and aggregate that into a single engagement view of the customer. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
