NimbleBrain is an open platform for building, governing and running AI agents on the systems a business already uses. Teams use it to give agents real reach into billing, tickets, CRM, documents and internal services, to encode how their business actually makes decisions, and to keep every run attributed and auditable, all inside their own infrastructure. NimbleBrain offers a unified platform that includes the Runtime, MCP Apps, Agents, Skills, and hundreds of connectors.
Founded in 2024, NimbleBrain is Apache 2.0 licensed and built on the Model Context Protocol, the open standard for connecting AI models to tools and data. That architecture is the product decision. Capabilities arrive as installable connectors rather than commissioned integrations, the model is a configuration setting rather than a dependency, and the runtime executes where the data already lives. The platform is used by platform engineers, operations teams, AI teams and the business owners of a process, working from the same schemas, skills and audit trail.
Key NimbleBrain capabilities include:
- Agent runtime: Host the agent loop, its state and its audit trail on Kubernetes, a VM or a laptop. Work that outlives a request streams progress instead of timing out.
- MCP apps and connectors: Install a capability as a scanned, versioned bundle. Connect Slack, Salesforce, HubSpot, Stripe, Jira, GitHub, Google Workspace and the internal service with no public API, under credentials you hold.
- Skills: Encode the judgment your best people apply as versioned, reviewable documents the agent reads, scoped to an organization, a workspace or a person.
- Governance and audit: Every conversation reaches exactly one workspace by construction. Policy is configuration you can read rather than behavior you infer, and token spend is attributed to a person and a run.
- Model and infrastructure portability: Point at Anthropic, OpenAI, Gemini, open-weight models or your own hardware, and change it later without touching an agent.
Available on AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, and self-managed Kubernetes, NimbleBrain helps organizations adopt agents without sending data to a vendor, without rewriting for a model provider, and without buying a proprietary plugin format. Customers use NimbleBrain for use cases such as customer service triage, security alert investigation, talent and candidate discovery, research-led outbound, proposal and document generation, lead qualification and operational reporting.
NimbleBrain is used across industries including automotive, financial services, network security, recruiting, energy, aquaculture and professional services. Organizations use the platform to move agent pilots into production, keep ownership of the resulting system, and put AI to work on the processes they already run.
