“Kinderpedia keeps me connected to School Life at Helikon in Bucharest”
What do you like best about KINDERPEDIA?

what I appreciate most about Kinderpedia is the clarity and transparency it brings to my daughter’s school life Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about KINDERPEDIA?

I sometimes get logged out after a period of not using the app, like over the holidays. But I understand it’s for safety reasons. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is KINDERPEDIA solving and how is that benefiting you?

Before Kinderpedia, communication between school and parents felt fragmented. Information came through emails, WhatsApp groups, paper notes in backpacks, and occasional meetings. It was easy to miss things and hard to get a clear, consistent picture of my child’s academic progress and daily school life.

Kinderpedia solves that fragmentation. It brings everything into one structured, secure space: grades, attendance, homework, teacher feedback, events, messages, photos, and development reports. Instead of reacting to scattered updates, I now have real-time visibility into what my daughter is learning, how she is progressing, and where she might need support.

As a parent, this benefits me in three major ways: clarity, trust, and involvement. I feel informed without being intrusive, connected without constantly emailing teachers, and confident that I’m supporting my child based on accurate, up-to-date information. It turns school-family communication from something reactive into something proactive and collaborative, which ultimately benefits my child the most. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“User-Friendly Platform with Great Support and a Strong Class Database”
What do you like best about Toddle?

It´s very user friendly and mostly because we can do everything here for our classes and becomes a database for the future. I also like how there is always someone available to give support when i´s needed. I like how now IA is being incorporated but the performance will better in the future. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Toddle?

I don´t like that I don´t have worksheets in all my classes like in secondary, it´s only available in DP section. Also, I´m still waiting that in DP Library they add Spanish A language and literature with practice questions and samples of paper 1 and paper 2 mock papers. I need this materials in order to evaluate better my DP classes. In the same way I will like to have better rubrics because right now it´s not working well the scores Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Toddle solving and how is that benefiting you?

Improving rubrics system and also every time they are innovating process and supporting and educating the teachers Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“A genuinely impressive LMS that's delivered on everything we shortlisted it for”
What do you like best about Absorb LMS?

Absorb has delivered on every requirement we shortlisted it for. Multitenancy was essential for us, we needed separate branches so each of our clients can manage everything centrally, and Absorb handles this really well. Just as important, our customers can administer their own users, assign courses, and run their own reports, which takes a huge amount of admin off our plate.

Reporting in particular has been a standout. Our customers can see exactly what their users are and aren't doing in the system, and on our side we can monitor engagement both during onboarding and once customers are live, which is invaluable when a customer seems to be struggling and we need to check whether their people are actually engaging with the learning.

On the course-building side, Absorb lets us create genuinely interactive courses rather than passive "click next" content, with quizzes to test knowledge retention. We've also been able to bring in gamification through certificates and badges, and build proper learning paths/journeys rather than one-off courses. Automation has been a big win too — automated emails, automated reporting, and the ability to build our own custom reports without relying on Absorb support. The API integration with our own customer database has made onboarding new clients much smoother, since we're not manually setting people up.

I've now created a number of courses myself and have found it genuinely easy to do. So far I've only used the AI features for generating quiz questions, which has already saved me a good amount of time, and I'm planning to use the AI course builder to develop some soft skills courses soon, everything I've built so far has been technical content, so that'll be a good test of it. Pricing is also worth calling out: it's very competitive given the breadth of features on offer.

On top of the product itself, the sales and onboarding process was faultless. Everyone we worked with, from sales through implementation, has been excellent. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Absorb LMS?

Honestly, we've struggled to find anything major to fault. If anything, the platform is so feature-rich that there's a bit of a learning curve at first while you explore everything it can do, but the onboarding support and Absorb Academy has made that easy to work through. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Absorb LMS solving and how is that benefiting you?

We needed a single platform that could serve multiple clients under their own self-contained experience, while still giving us central oversight. Absorb's Department multitenancy solves that. Beyond that, it's solved the problem of customer self-sufficiency, our clients can manage their own users and courses and pull their own reports instead of coming to us for everything. And the reporting capability means we're no longer guessing whether a customer's users are engaging with training; we can see it, both proactively during onboarding and reactively when a customer needs extra support. The combination of interactive course creation, gamification, learning paths, and automation has also let us build a much stronger, more engaging learning offering for our customers than we could before. “All-in-One Student Rewards, Parent Communication, and Hall Passes—Minga Shines”
What do you like best about Minga?

I love that Minga lets us praise students, award positive reward points, communicate with parents, and cash those points in for rewards all in one place. Having automations for other guidance also helps my administrators support students more effectively and address behaviors before they become more extreme. The hall pass feature helps clean up our hallways by monitoring which students have been out of class, and it also helps us identify students who need more structure during unstructured times of the day. My students love seeing their Minga Points add up from positive behaviors, and the checkout process for cashing them in is so easy that it creates a smooth reward process—one that’s unmatched by any program I’ve ever used. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Minga?

I have struggled sometimes with the calendar integration and promoting events. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Minga solving and how is that benefiting you?

“Canvas LMS: Easy Modules, Smooth Integrations, and Reliable Performance”
What do you like best about Canvas LMS?

I like everything about Canvas LMS. I love how the modules are so easy to use and populate. I love how you can integrate edtech tools into Canvas. I love how you can schedule modules to open. I love how it performs, it's rarely down. I love the ease of use. Canvas support is also reliable and gets back to you in a timely manner. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Canvas LMS?

There needs to be templates so that staff members who are less tech savvy can just plug their content in and populate their class. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Canvas LMS solving and how is that benefiting you?

So many problems! It's solving the biggest issue: communication. Announcements are right at the top, if you set up your class that way. You can schedule your classes to publish which alleviates the time you have t do that. You can have a collaborative calendar and a to do list so it reminds you of assignments coming up which aleviates the excuse of "I didn't know when it was due." It has a syllabus and rubric feature that I love. I just love it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“Seamless Website Integration for Class Registration”
What do you like best about Sawyer?

I use Sawyer to let customers register for my music classes, and it means I spend a lot less time registering customers myself. Refunds are very easy. What I like most is that it integrates really well with my website. They let you put a widget right into your website, it builds right in, and customers get a seamless experience. Setting up was fairly easy for the most part. Setting up a whole semester took about twenty minutes to half an hour, which is about 10 to 15 classes per week to set up within the calendar, but they have a really good copy paste kind of thing, so it's not too hard. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sawyer?

They could streamline the experience a little bit better for the user. A lot of the classes look similar when scrolling through and maybe they could separate them to look a little bit different each. the schedules can all look the same as opposed to making them look a little different so that you know that you're scheduling a summer session versus spring session Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“iClicker: Fast, Easy Engagement and Formative Assessment”
What do you like best about iClicker?

I have been using iClicker to measure student engagement for over 2 decades. It is an invaluable tool to implement formative assessment in all kinds of classes and teaching sessions. It is easy to use, syncs to the gradebook in an LMS and the anonymity of responses is far superior to asking students to raise their hands. Performance is fast, both for hand held devices and the app. I think it is great value for the cost. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about iClicker?

The few issues I have heard from others is related to integration of the gradebook in iClicker with the LMS, and some limitation on the question types. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is iClicker solving and how is that benefiting you?

iClicker is an educational software so I don't couch it as a 'business' solution - however it both motivates students to participate in class, it eases data collection of participation, it provides value in terms of learning outcomes and it facilitates instructors engaging in active learning. What do you like best about D2L Brightspace?

I like the number of tools we have available for course creation. I also really appreciate the reporting section, which is very comprehensive and allows for easy checking of various data. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about D2L Brightspace?

Some things are still a bit rigid. For example, I can't change the background color of a course. Another point is that it's also not possible to randomize all the questions in a quiz at once. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is D2L Brightspace solving and how is that benefiting you?

In the questionnaire section, I remember there was a button for the student to be directed to the evaluation. I really liked the update: now the questionnaire appears in a much better way for the student, and the visualization has improved a lot.

In the creation of new courses, there was also an update, and it has become much simpler to create new courses. I found it much better than the previous version. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I found that I got to grips with the navigation quickly including searching for topics that I was interested in. The notifications tab is really helpful as it is a quick prompt to do things like leave a review which I know my colleagues in the L&D team find useful when building and evaluating the impact of courses. It has been helpful to link to a registration page within our Firmwide comms. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Kallidus Learn?

It would be good to have audio options with every course, as standard. It would also be useful to choose a vertical navigation system (rather than a horizontal one) on demand to make it easier to navigate. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Kallidus Learn solving and how is that benefiting you?

I have been able to run all registrations for our wellbeing and inclusion focused events through Kallidus which has helped me to process RSVPs and dietary requirements. “Efficient LMS for Sales Managers Training”
What do you like best about DrivEd?

DrivEd LMS offers an intuitive and flexible platform that fits perfectly into our sales training program. The self-paced learning options, along with interactive courses and webinars, have significantly improved engagement and knowledge retention among our sales managers. The credentials and digital badges feature is particularly motivating, giving our team recognition for their progress. Additionally, the payment module for continuing education is convenient for managing access to more advanced training. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about DrivEd?

While the platform is comprehensive, the reporting functionality could be more advanced. We sometimes find it challenging to extract specific data or metrics on learner performance without manual workarounds. Additionally, a wider variety of pre-built integrations with CRM systems would enhance the overall experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is DrivEd solving and how is that benefiting you?

DrivEd LMS has streamlined our sales training process, ensuring our managers receive consistent, high-quality training across the board. The platform's flexibility allows our team to balance learning with their busy schedules, and the collaborative features help foster communication and idea sharing between sales teams. “Simplified and Efficient School Management”
What do you like best about Google Classroom?

I really like how easy and intuitive it is to use Google Classroom. I can quickly see which assignments are pending or submitted, receive instant notifications, and have control over my children's progress from my phone at any time. The integration with Google Drive and the calendar works especially well. The calendar visually shows me the deadlines for assignments and exams, allowing us to organize our time at home in advance. With Google Drive, all documents, readings, or uploaded files are securely stored without overloading the phone's memory. I also appreciate that I receive direct notifications to my email or phone when a teacher posts a new assignment or grades a submission. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Google Classroom?

I find it difficult to manage multiple accounts, as having several children sometimes makes it complicated or confusing to switch between one school account and another in the same application. I would also like the notifications to be more customizable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Google Classroom solving and how is that benefiting you?

Google Classroom solves school disorganization for me, centralizes communication, and keeps due dates clear. It is easy to use, allows monitoring of assignments and grades at any time, and integrates well with Google Drive and the calendar to manage materials without overloading the phone. “Powerful All-in-One Platform”
What do you like best about Edsby?

One of the most beneficial features of Edsby has been the ability to integrate multiple workflows into a single platform. Teachers can take attendance, message parents, request parent permission, and manage their LMS all in one place. Another major benefit has been increased transparency with our parent community. Any classroom related content, learning evidence, and gradebook work that is shared with students is also visible to their caregivers. This has helped build greater clarity and consistency across our school division. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Edsby?

One of the frustrations I have had supporting Edsby as a school division employee is the length of time between reporting a bug and a resolution being pushed into our production environment. At times, this can take multiple months, causing frustrations among teachers in the division. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Edsby solving and how is that benefiting you?

Since our school division adopted the Edsby platform, we have seen an increase in the quality of conversations around assessment. Edsby allows teachers to set up a well structured and flexible gradebook, including the ability to adjust weightings, while also supporting other important forms of assessment. Teachers can document conversations and observations and share learning evidence through tools like the Learning Story and Destinations. Together, these features support more balanced assessment practices and help make student learning more visible and meaningful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“Engaging, Organized Teaching Tools—With a Small Learning Curve”
What do you like best about HiTeach?

What I like best about HiTeach is its interactive teaching approach and how it helps make classroom sessions more engaging and organized. The platform is easy to use and supports smooth communication between teachers and students, which improves overall learning management.

I also liked the smart classroom features, lesson presentation tools, and the ability to keep teaching materials structured in one place. It helps save time during sessions and creates a more interactive learning experience compared to traditional methods. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about HiTeach?

One thing I dislike about HiTeach is that some advanced features can take time to fully understand for first time users. The interface is generally good, but a few settings and tools could be made more intuitive and easier to navigate.

There can also be occasional delays or minor technical issues depending on the device or internet connection being used during live sessions. However, overall the platform still provides a smooth and useful teaching experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is HiTeach solving and how is that benefiting you?

HiTeach helps solve problems related to classroom engagement, lesson management, and interactive teaching. Traditional teaching methods can sometimes make it difficult to keep students actively involved, especially during longer sessions or digital learning environments.

With HiTeach, it becomes easier to organize lessons, present learning materials interactively, and improve communication between teachers and students. The platform helps create a more structured and engaging learning experience while also saving time during classroom activities and presentations.

Overall, it has helped improve teaching efficiency, student participation, and the overall learning experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Data processing currently happens outside the EU/UK, which adds complexity to our GDPR compliance paperwork and data processing agreements. “Reliable Tool for Montessori Classrooms with Room for Improvement”
What do you like best about Illumine?

I appreciate that Illumine is reliable and works without getting in the way. It's pretty capable, and I find the parent communication feature to be good. Most of the user interface allows me to do what I want, and I like that the Montessori lessons are standard, rather than trying to create a new system that conflicts with authentic implementation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Illumine?

Illumine could really use a parent volunteer sign-up feature to replace tools like SignUpGenius, which I find obnoxious. Also, the lesson planning and recording features aren't as smooth or capable as what I'm used to with Transparent Classroom. I miss the ability to do a multiple selection for changes instead of having to click individually for each student, and the way Transparent Classroom lets me plan by days and move lessons around is much more useful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Illumine solving and how is that benefiting you?

I find Illumine is great for parent communication and standard Montessori lessons. It's reliable and capable without getting in my way. However, the record-keeping and lesson planning could be smoother, and it lacks a parent volunteer sign-up feature. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
