I don´t like that I don´t have worksheets in all my classes like in secondary, it´s only available in DP section. Also, I´m still waiting that in DP Library they add Spanish A language and literature with practice questions and samples of paper 1 and paper 2 mock papers. I need this materials in order to evaluate better my DP classes. I will say a lot of my initial gripes have been addressed over the three years we have been using Absorb. I did feel that the layout of their courses was pretty limited but they have addressed that with their block page feature and branching to create some more engaging content.

I also felt like there was a drop off in customer support from the initial sales/onboarding team to who ended up being our account team. It felt like, 'welp, we made the sale, so we don't care as much.' However, we had a team switch up about a year ago and have been very happy. Our Learning & Development team is very lean. For years it was just me. Now we have grown to two people. So, add-ons like Amplify, their course library, have been a great solution to when we need to get a training to someone quickly, but we don't have the bandwidth to create a custom course from scratch.

They could streamline the experience a little bit better for the user. While the platform is comprehensive, the reporting functionality could be more advanced. In the questionnaire section, I remember there was a button for the student to be directed to the evaluation. I really liked the update: now the questionnaire appears in a much better way for the student, and the visualization has improved a lot.

The main sticking point for us as a UK school is the lack of European servers. Data processing currently happens outside the EU/UK, which adds complexity to our GDPR compliance paperwork and data processing agreements. It's manageable, but European server infrastructure would make things significantly simpler for schools in this region and remove a barrier for others considering adopting it. One of the frustrations I have had supporting Edsby as a school division employee is the length of time between reporting a bug and a resolution being pushed into our production environment. Since our school division adopted the Edsby platform, we have seen an increase in the quality of conversations around assessment. Edsby allows teachers to set up a well structured and flexible gradebook, including the ability to adjust weightings, while also supporting other important forms of assessment. There’s really nothing to dislike. I just wish it included a few additional features: custom grade management (for example, taking the highest grade from two assessments), larger file upload limits for student assessment submissions, a plagiarism checker for students, a cleaner interface for adding timetables across different level cohorts, and improved sort and filter options in the assessments and grading module. We used to handle all of our registration on paper, and then we had to scan a lot of it in, which took up time and wasted resources. Now it has made our process simpler and paperless by letting us create forms on the portal and share a link with potential students so they can register. School notices can also be posted on the portal, and students receive an email notification, which makes it much easier to interact with them instead of crafting a mass email and inputting every student’s email address one by one. I needed a simple to use, platform agnostic, flexible gradebook. I trialed many others, and found iGradePlus to be the standout. As a single user, its price tag (i.e., "free") was easy to adopt.
