Nothing, the whole experience has been garbage. I hate that our kid's school is trying to use this shit website that looks like it was vibe coded by a toddler. Links are recursive, profiles often don't show up. Multiple loop logins. And the form submissions are garbage, and illegible. I can't download any of the contracts. The intuitive way it is designed is excellent, allowing anyone to use it without much prior experience. Illumine is a great alternative to more expensive systems like Procare. I receive the same core benefits and services at a much more affordable cost. The billing and invoicing features are especially strong — you can set invoice numbers, adjust payment dates, and add your own logo, which creates a much more professional experience. As the daughter of an accountant, I really appreciate how well their billing system is designed. Any questions or issues I had were addressed quickly, first by email and then followed up with a phone call. The onboarding process was smooth, and any concerns during setup were resolved right away. I also love how customizable the system is, which is a huge benefit for smaller centers like mine. The customizable forms and ability to create an admissions process for new students are major advantages. Everyone I’ve worked with has been kind, courteous, and attentive. I also like the ease of the app on cell phones, as our teachers frequently use their phones to snap pictures. They're able to quickly send these pictures through a private message to a parent or share them with the whole class. This functionality makes it really convenient for our teaching staff. A message comes in and I don't get an alert right away to let me know. And there could be hours that passed that I don't know that there's a message there unless I open the app up and check. What do you dislike about Illumine? The calendar cannot be downloaded into a pdf format. The pdf version of form submissions cannot be edited to simplify (sometimes there is waste of space in a page and if you want to print it takes 3 pages instead of 2). Form submissions cannot be downloaded in a clean pdf format at one go, only one-by-one if generated, and the excel version isn't always accurate and/or practical. This all makes working with it much more manageable and satisfying. We are using the Illumine app, and we love it! The initial setup went great without much hassle. I don't like that there's no favorites dashboard, especially for teacher assistants like me, to avoid repeatedly accessing less frequently used tools.
