So many problems! It's solving the biggest issue: communication. Announcements are right at the top, if you set up your class that way. You can schedule your classes to publish which alleviates the time you have t do that. You can have a collaborative calendar and a to do list so it reminds you of assignments coming up which aleviates the excuse of "I didn't know when it was due." What I dislike most about Absorb is that, when I try to use the General Manager Experience dashboard, it doesn’t currently auto-populate team members (staff) under the GM. Instead, the information has to be entered manually each time a new team member is created. While the functionality is available, it still requires the GM to add each user individually, which can be time-consuming. Absorb is helping us overcome knowledge barriers as we develop General Managers for our hotels. iSpring Suite solves one of the most persistent challenges in corporate training: the gap between content creation and content deployment. Historically, instructional designers would build content in one tool, export it, troubleshoot compatibility issues, and then upload it to an LMS. iSpring significantly compresses that process.

For our team, the direct PowerPoint integration means subject matter experts can contribute to course development without needing specialized authoring skills. That has expanded our content creation capacity without expanding our headcount.

I wish CoGrader had an easy way to share the AI score and feedback with students. I understand that AI detection is not the most reliable, according to CoGrader, for detecting AI, but from practical experience, when the score is high, with further investigation, most students admit the use of AI in their writings. It would be nice to have an option to easily share that with the students, and it is frustrating that it does not do it. AI is only getting more and more frequently used by students, so it is weird that CoGrader makes it so difficult to share that score with students. The biggest advantage is that it can provide timely feedback on tasks that would take a human too long. It allows me to spend my time responding to that data to better lesson design in the future, and allows me to focus my feedback specifically on what our focus standard is at the time of the assignment, without ignoring other concerns the student has with their writing. For the results to be displayed properly you need to have a Vevox Plugin installed on the PowerPoint that your presentation is being played from. If you are presenting at a conference, this means that you need to check with the organizer of the conference that they install Vevox upfront or ask that you display the presentation from your own laptop where you have Vevox Plugin installed. You also need to be connected to the internet (obviously). These are not "cons" in a true sense, because there is really no way in which an audience response tool can function without being connected to the internet, but mere warnings to novice users. I have been able to run all registrations for our wellbeing and inclusion focused events through Kallidus which has helped me to process RSVPs and dietary requirements. There is a better record of attendance and delegates can review the events they have attended. Running these events through Kallidus has also given them a Learning & Development status which is helping with uptake as people see them as more formal opportunities to grow and improve. I think that, as with many things, it can be very frustrating for teachers to see some of the tiered components cost extra. While it's completely understandable that the company needs to make money to continue to improve, as educators, it's generally outside the teacher's control for what funds are spent and where based on school/district budgets, which then can either lead them to personally paying fees for subscriptions, or in some cases, being restricted from using them where they are not allowed to pay for items personally (as in my previous district).
