I will say a lot of my initial gripes have been addressed over the three years we have been using Absorb. I did feel that the layout of their courses was pretty limited but they have addressed that with their block page feature and branching to create some more engaging content.

I also felt like there was a drop off in customer support from the initial sales/onboarding team to who ended up being our account team. It felt like, 'welp, we made the sale, so we don't care as much.' However, we had a team switch up about a year ago and have been very happy. Our Learning & Development team is very lean. For years it was just me. Now we have grown to two people. So, add-ons like Amplify, their course library, have been a great solution to when we need to get a training to someone quickly, but we don't have the bandwidth to create a custom course from scratch.

Sometimes it can be hard to design the slides. I wish there were more options with how you could do charts, for example, and more calculation options other than using and paying for AI (like simple built in calculators to plug in research numbers). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Class discussion is better in low participating classes, I don't have to come up with as many games on my own. I also use Kahoot! a lot less, which is expensive and has fewer options that I want in the unpaid version. Low pay version is still so expensive and the cost for AhaSlides is so much less. In the questionnaire section, I remember there was a button for the student to be directed to the evaluation. I really liked the update: now the questionnaire appears in a much better way for the student, and the visualization has improved a lot.

I cannot think of a major drawback but in some cases If references are mentioned in the assignment file it may falsely flag them as AI. which can be corrected by a manual look and review of the graded paper. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It saves my time by evaluating a number of assignments which helps me rely on assignment based teaching more and hence improves learning. It flags any unwanted AI usage enhancing student education. The results slides could add a bit more freshness and polish on design, but that seems standard for similar online polling. I also wish that for numerical scores there were more options to report (e.g., standard deviation or standard error bars for the averages). But, I will say that it can already do significantly more than what the competition can regarding numerical in-class polls with automatic results calculations. I use it in my university classes. It allows me to run in-class polls and activities with automatic calculations so that I don't have to stop the class either to i) enter data, or ii) calculate even simple functions that take more time and can be clunky to do in front of the audience. I love AI but it needs to get much better. I tried to give full instructions about each slide: header, description, questions, etc. and it makes whatever it wants. When this gets fixed it will be super powerful: you can work on better questions inside chatgpt and deliver instructions to mentimeter to get your perfect survey in seconds. I don´t like that I don´t have worksheets in all my classes like in secondary, it´s only available in DP section. Also, I´m still waiting that in DP Library they add Spanish A language and literature with practice questions and samples of paper 1 and paper 2 mock papers. I need this materials in order to evaluate better my DP classes. I found myself managing the situation of a student in my class who, for several months, carried out school activities from home because he had a motorcycle accident. Some features could still be improved to facilitate large-scale animation. For example, it is currently not possible to use the same event simultaneously in multiple parallel sessions. It is necessary to duplicate events, which adds manipulations and sometimes complicates content management.

Regarding animation, we would also like more possibilities to make activities more immersive and playful. The management of background music could be smoother, with, for example, automatic launching when a question is displayed. Wooclap helps us make our training sessions more interactive and engaging. Participants are more involved thanks to the different question formats, which facilitates exchanges and keeps their attention throughout the session.
