I find the time-saving aspect amazing, and it’s great that AI helps polish the presentation. In most course building applications, the platform is very complex and very difficult to work with, involving multiple triggers and backend changes that can become very tedious. iSpring takes all of that away and makes the build easy to use, while still producing an effective course. **What do you dislike about iSpring Suite?** There isn’t much that I dislike. The main thing I’d ask you to consider is adding other types of interactions, such as flash cards, or providing a better way to create simulations. Right now we’re using the hotspot choice in the quiz section, which works fine for the moment, but I’m hoping to see something in the future that lets us embed or build a simulation without having to add each image individually. Ultimately, we want to be able to test learners in our elearning environment, grade them quickly, and provide feedback that can branch them to another part of the course based on their performance. **What problems is iSpring Suite solving and how is that benefiting you?** iSpring solves our issue of getting accurate, detailed scores for our learners’ final quiz. There are some settings that are hidden and take a while to find. I didn't know about some of these until they became issues that I had to ask for help to resolve. And last but not least, it offers great value for money, with a discounted price for freelancers. **What do you dislike about iSpring Suite?** For what I create, it works fine. The reality is, AI can now do what iSpring does at a very basic level - and faster. If you just need your powerpoint to be in SCORM format, just upload your powerpoint to Claude and tell it to format it as a SCORM. Tell it the player customizations and completion data you need. If you need a complex SCORM module, use a more sophisticated tool. **What do you dislike about iSpring Suite?** When reporting bugs to customer support, it often feels as though they blame users for their issues. I discontinued my use of other iSpring products (Market) due to the insulting support I received. This will be the last year we use iSpring to create e-learning modules. Their customer service has always been somewhat rude when you have an issue. Our program had multiple people training on the same topic and we were seeing that staff were then completing tasks differently. Staff were receiving conflicting information. iSpring allowed us to create training that is consistent which has reduced errors. The ability of staff taking training when they need it and not have to worry about when a trainer is returning from vacation is extremely helpful. If you’re used to Articulate Storyline, you’ll find iSpring’s ‘triggers’ and ‘variables’ to be very limited. As an instructional designer, I find it especially helpful because of the variety of interaction features. I also really like the Manage Narration feature: it’s very user-friendly, generates text-to-speech in seconds, and offers high-quality voices. Another strong feature, in my opinion, is the role-play interaction. You get an excellent branching board to work with and can create engaging role-plays in no time. I also appreciate and use iSpring Screen Cast quite a lot - I can easily record myself, share my screen, and even automatically add info pop-ups for each click I made during my screencast. Depending on what I need, I can then quickly turn this into a final video, or into a video learning course within the iSpring Slide-Based Course feature, simply by switching the player to a video-lecture-based format, for example. I also appreciate the accessibility feature, which makes it very easy to generate accessible course content quickly. With just one click, it helps create high-quality accessibility support, which is extremely valuable when designing learning experiences that need to be clear, inclusive, and easy to navigate for different learners. Another feature I really enjoy is the iSpring Book (flip book) option. It’s a great way to create engaging resources for learning experiences, and I love the page-flip animation. Overall, iSpring Suite AI is a great tool for building courses in this fast-paced world, with impressive features that help us IDs create strong courses in no time. **What do you dislike about iSpring Suite?** There is very little I dislike about iSpring Suite AI. The role-play interaction feature is already amazing - yet, if I could enhance it even more, I would love to see AI-generated talking characters added to the experience. I think this would take role-plays to another level and make them even more immersive for learners. Another small point is related to adding alt text for images inside interactions. It took me a little while to find where to add it, since it is located in different places compared to classical slides. However, once I found the right settings, everything worked well. **What problems is iSpring Suite solving and how is that benefiting you?** iSpring Suite AI helps me solve one of the biggest challenges in instructional design: creating high-quality learning content quickly, without sacrificing interactivity or learner engagement. For me, that means I can focus on the learning design instead of wrestling with tool idiosyncrasies. Features like narration editing, quizzes, and role-play simulations make it easy to create interactive content and assessments without a lot of extra complexity. I appreciate the newer AI features. They’re not a replacement for instructional design, but they can help speed up things like drafting content, creating assets, or preparing translations when you’re working on tight timelines. My favorite features are the audio / narration sync and Role Play module. **What do you dislike about iSpring Suite?** Like most AI-assisted tools, the AI features still need a human eye. I usually review and adjust anything generated for tone and accuracy and learning context. Also, because iSpring is built around PowerPoint, teams that prefer a completely browser-based authoring environment might look at other tools.
