We're fairly new to Jotform and haven't found much we dislike yet, but one improvement that could be made is to increase the integrations. As a relatively new company, we didn’t have many established processes before using Jotform, and anything we did have was often spread across different systems. Jotform has helped us bring everything into one place and keep our forms consistent. Cvent is a powerful platform, but some areas can be overly complex, especially when managing multiple registration types, pricing rules, discounts, and registration logic. Small changes can sometimes impact other parts of the event build, making thorough testing essential.

While the interface is generally user-friendly, certain administrative tasks require navigating through multiple menus, which can slow down configuration updates. Reporting is strong, but creating highly customised reports can have a learning curve for newer users.

I would also like to see more advanced AI-driven insights to help identify registration trends, attendee engagement opportunities, and potential event risks more proactively.

From a pricing perspective, the platform delivers strong value for large or complex events, but some advanced features and add-on modules can increase costs.

Cvent solves the challenge of managing event registration, attendee communications, reporting, and engagement across multiple systems by bringing everything into a single platform. Instead of manually tracking registrations, emails, pricing, discounts, surveys, and attendee data in separate tools, we can manage the entire event lifecycle in one place.

For our team, this has improved efficiency, reduced administrative work, and provided better visibility into event performance. Nothing massive at the moment. I would like to see us be able to add paid breakouts not in the registration path and the app to be more robust but as an event registration platform, it truly has all of the functionalities you need are then some. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

So many problems! We've been able to bring our registration management in house instead of using a custom website as we did before. We've had seamless integrations with our badge printing company and app company so the API will work instead of custom integrations. Emails sent from the app are fully customizable, but there are no pre-set templates, so we built our own (with an example from Ahsan). Editable starter templates would be a nice addition. On event day, time zone issues caused notifications to go out an hour early and "in progress" alerts to run ahead of schedule, and it took a while to get things back in sync. In the past, the mobile event app we used was too busy and overwhelming for participants to navigate. vFAIRS gave us a way to keep the mobile app as part of our conference, but do it in a more streamlined way that was intuitive for participants. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The only downside is the inability to create multiple pages, like a microsite, where attendees can view the different pages, vs. just scrolling down one page of info that can get a little cumbersome. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Good question! I am not sure if there is a specific problem that I need addressed but RegFox does send out regular emails letting you know what they are working on so it's nice to know they are always advancing and fine tuning what they offer. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We have been using Eventee to help organise a Summer School. This app has improve our ability to communicate easily to our attendees, gives us a platform to share photographs of the event and allows live interaction with participants through the Q&A function. There honestly isn't much we dislike. The biggest thing for us is that we still need separate software for some employee and time-management functions. Check Cherry has been adding functionality in this area, and we're hopeful it will eventually allow us to eliminate that separate system and have even more of our operation in one place. We had never used a CRM, so information about leads, proposals, invoices, payments, and customers was much more fragmented and scattered. Now it's all in one workflow. A lead can come in through our website, move to a proposal and invoice, and ultimately become a paid event without us having to piece together information from different places. The biggest benefit is having one reliable record of the entire customer transaction. Its reporting has also become an important part of our accounting. One area that could be improved is the customization flexibility. Some features may take a little time to understand initially, especially for first-time users. Samaaro helps solve the challenge of managing multiple event activities through one platform. It reduces manual work by automating website creation, registrations, and event-related workflows. There are a few things I'd like to see Purplepass add or solve:

1) Sort ticket purchasers in events alphabetically by last name instead of first name

2) Make it clearer that patrons do not need to set up an account to purchase tickets

3) Admit patron through search order in Box Office as opposed to needing to go through Search Orders in Point of Sale

Eventify is simply too much platform for our smaller, weekly events like Bible studies or potlucks. The pricing model is per-event, and even our smallest event costs several hundred dollars. For a church budget, that adds up fast. We also found the learning curve steep for our volunteer event coordinators most are not professional event planners. Before Eventify, our conferences were chaotic paper registrations, manual check-ins, and confusing schedules. Eventify solved all of that, and our youth conference ran more smoothly than ever. But for 90% of our other events, we still use free tools like GroupMe, SignUpGenius, and a shared Google Calendar. Eventify is a specialized tool for us, not an everyday solution. There are steep increases in cost for more advanced features. I would consider paying for these features for a more complex event, where you would like everything to be done in the same site. I like how you can choose which add-ons you need so that you have more flexible pricing options, rather than having to choose an expensive package from the start. Fourwaves has made it very easy to do everything I need in one place, and to easily share information with our conference attendees. The submissions system is excellent, and this is an area where more general event softwares pale in comparison. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

There wasn’t anything major that I disliked. The only thing I’d say is that some parts of the dashboard could be a little more intuitive, especially when you’re using the platform for the first time. A few additional customization options around the registration flow would also be useful for more complex events. But these were minor issues for us and didn’t really affect the overall experience. KonfHub solves the biggest operational headache of organising an event: having to manage registrations, tickets, coupons, attendees, and communication across multiple tools.<br><br>For KCD Delhi, it gave us one place to manage the entire registration workflow. Instead of maintaining spreadsheets and using separate tools for ticketing, coupons, and participant communication, we could handle everything from the KonfHub dashboard.<br><br>The biggest benefit for me was saving time and reducing manual work. Managing different ticket types and coupons was straightforward, and as registrations increased, it was much easier to keep track of attendees and their information.<br><br>It also made the event experience smoother for participants because we could share a simple event URL and manage their registration from one platform. And whenever we faced an issue, the KonfHub team was quick and helpful in resolving it.<br><br>Overall, it allowed us to spend less time managing event infrastructure and more time focusing on the actual event and community. The UI of the admin area could be improved. It seems like there are two admin pages but not all features are accessible depending on the page you are on. It can be annoying to find things at times. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We used to preprint and sort all of our attendee badges. We'd have to manually print/reprint badges as needed for on-site registrations or to make edits. Expo Pass made all of these issues go completely go away. Attendees were able to quickly and easily get their own badges and make any edits on-demand. There is a significant cost increase if you want to integrate with your own domain / email server. As a result, we went without the option and a number of clients did not receive the initial email due to corporate spam filters. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Greenvelope also lets you send invitations through other channels, such as SMS. You can copy the link and share it via your personal email, text message, LinkedIn, and more. In my experience, clients respond much better to personal messages, so this helps offset the Greenvelope emails sometimes getting caught by spam filters. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Gther offers a one-stop solution in-territory for all of our event needs. The system is flexible, so it can suit many different types of events. We have used the system for a traditional trade show, and we’ll be using it later this year for a convention. This really demonstrates just how flexible the system is. Since switching to Afton, we no longer worry about potential network issues that could bring our lines to a standstill. Over the last four years, they’ve sent us two different reps, and both have helped us strategize and implement improvements to customer service at the gate. Getting people into the venue quickly—especially during the hottest month of the year—is critical to the overall customer experience. A small issue I found problematic with Bizzabo is the scheduling of email campaigns. The "Send Later" button can sound counterintuitive for those who want to schedule sending, as the term suggests that the action will be postponed, not preparing the campaign for immediate sending even when scheduled. In some events, new users did not understand that it was necessary to click "Send Later" after saving the campaign, thinking that the sending was already configured. Bizzabo helps me send emails to the right audience and create tags for different participants, making invitations and reminders easier. It is also intuitive, with a precise and fast AI assistant, offering versatility in sending invitations and generating reports. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I have two areas where Brushfire could improve. One is with email communication when multiple family members register for an event. It would be useful if the system could send a joint email to the main email holder with all ticket information in one go, instead of multiple individual emails. So far, there is very little to dislike. If I was being picky then maybe some more statistics about visitors to the page, not just completed sales. I did want to make my own address private as a sole trader, but I appreciate Fienta have to operate under the new EU rules, so understand why that is not possible. The biggest problem Fienta has solved for us was the high processing costs from our old ticketing platform (Eventbrite). We'll be making a significant saving, plus for the event type we have we have also managed to save on admin time by integrating both audience and competitors into a single platform.
