What I dislike most about Jotform is that **pricing and usage limits can become restrictive surprisingly quickly**, especially when the form is used for real-world scenarios involving many submissions, photographs, and file uploads.

In our case, the form was created to collect damage reports and photographic evidence from people affected by an earthquake. Although we configured external storage through Google Drive, the overall usage model still required us to pay for the platform once the volume of submissions and uploaded evidence increased. For a temporary emergency-response use case, this was disappointing because the technical solution worked very well, but the cost became an important operational consideration.

I would also like to see **clearer visibility into how submissions, storage, file uploads, and integrations affect account limits**, particularly before a form goes live. Better forecasting tools, usage alerts, or more flexible short-term plans for high-volume events would make the platform considerably stronger.

Overall, I see this primarily as a limitation of the commercial model rather than the product itself. The functionality is excellent, but organizations should understand the limits and expected volume beforehand, especially when designing forms for emergencies, community reporting, or evidence-heavy workflows. In our case, we needed to gather damage reports from residents affected by an earthquake in Pereira, Colombia. Without a platform like Jotform, this information could easily become fragmented across emails, messaging applications, spreadsheets, and individual photo files, making consolidation, traceability, and follow-up much more difficult.

Jotform allowed us to centralize the entire process. Each affected person could submit their information and attach photographic evidence through an easy-to-use form, while administrators received structured and individually identifiable records that could later support damage assessment, insurance-related processes, and administrative review.

The main benefit for us was speed and operational control. We were able to deploy a functional solution quickly, standardize the information being collected, reduce manual data consolidation, preserve submission traceability, integrate the workflow with Google Drive, and control when the reporting period was open or closed.

I think with every large platform it's hard to pivot to make every new feature work in every area. As power users, we try to adjust the platform as best we can as we learn its limitations. So many problems! We've been able to bring our registration management in house instead of using a custom website as we did before. We've had seamless integrations with our badge printing company and app company so the API will work instead of custom integrations. We have been using Eventee to help organise a Summer School. This app has improve our ability to communicate easily to our attendees, gives us a platform to share photographs of the event and allows live interaction with participants through the Q&A function. I have not found many negatives to the platform from a pre-show buyers end. Coming from a school that has very specific tracking requirements, everything I need to provide is easily accessible. One thing that could be useful is something more student centered. Having a way for students to sell individually and receive credit for the purchases made. Some artificial points are obtainable- e.g. posting articles, no matter the content. Feels like point limits are arbitrary. Clearning notifications can also be challenging, there is no distinction between a new comment or a like on a post that you then have to seek out to clear the notification. Whova solves the challenge of keeping all event information organized and easily accessible in one place. Having the agenda and attendee list available at my fingertips at all times is remarkable. I can review sessions, take notes directly in the app, connect and network with other attendees, and even plan social interactions in advance. Rather than juggling printed materials, emails, and separate contact lists, Whova provides an all-inclusive, one-stop shop that makes attending conferences more productive, engaging, and enjoyable. Eventify is simply too much platform for our smaller, weekly events like Bible studies or potlucks. The pricing model is per-event, and even our smallest event costs several hundred dollars. For a church budget, that adds up fast. We also found the learning curve steep for our volunteer event coordinators most are not professional event planners. Before Eventify, our conferences were chaotic paper registrations, manual check-ins, and confusing schedules. Eventify solved all of that, and our youth conference ran more smoothly than ever. But for 90% of our other events, we still use free tools like GroupMe, SignUpGenius, and a shared Google Calendar. Eventify is a specialized tool for us, not an everyday solution. We used to preprint and sort all of our attendee badges. We'd have to manually print/reprint badges as needed for on-site registrations or to make edits. Expo Pass made all of these issues go completely go away. Attendees were able to quickly and easily get their own badges and make any edits on-demand. Gther offers a one-stop solution in-territory for all of our event needs. The system is flexible, so it can suit many different types of events. We have used the system for a traditional trade show, and we’ll be using it later this year for a convention. This really demonstrates just how flexible the system is. It takes a wee bit of time to set up the conference webpage and make sure all the information is aligned, especially when it comes to dates and times. Using Fourwaves reduced the administrative burden of communicating with attendees and abstract submitters. It also made it easier to collect registration fees and to build a participant list and name tags. In addition, it greatly streamlined the scientific review process by allowing reviewers to apply a rubric when grading abstracts, which helped with conference program decisions. Lastly, we saved trees by offering an online program, and we’re looking forward to having an app next time to improve accessibility to conference information for attendees. The only real downside is that some users say the registration and log-in process can take a while (though it’s really only a few extra minutes). We needed to be able to do a 'scavenger hunt' type game and Amego solved that for us. We used this at a few different trade shows (with a few different types of audiences) and it works better with different groups, so now that we know that, we can gauge how to use it better. But it's so easy to set up once you know how to use the back end. And we are just starting to set up the full conference experience, I'm excited to get that going.
