We still have trouble telling when students are cheating. They seem to be doing this by appearing to be online (on the test sites like MasteryConnect, etc) while another student is signed in on my student's login (so it shows up on Dy'know) and cheats for them. I just watched a student having a Google Doc conversation with another student (who might be at another school!) via sharing. We are able to figure out what sites they use for watching movies and other things they should not be doing. I love that I can block site after site. I dislike that sometimes the system crashes if too many people are on it at once, which makes the system very hard to rely on. When we switched over to virtual learning, too many people were trying to get on the system at once. This prevented me from being able to communicate with my students and their parents, which led to confusion during the first several days of this online transition. Though it was unexpected that we were all headed toward an online platform for learning and therefore it is not all Dojo's fault, it would have been nice to have the problem resolved more quickly so that teachers would have been able to communicate better with their students and parents right from the very beginning. I think that anyone that is considering classdojo should definitely make the switch. It is easy to use, and easy for parents to sign up for. It makes it so easy to award points/ take away points based on classroom expectations every day. Students really enjoy watching their "monsters" change shape and color based on the amount of points that they earn. Parents really enjoy being able to stay in the loop! I have really enjoyed my experience with Dojo, and I think that everyone else should experience it as well!! My advice is that it is a great program, and a free app for your phone so there is no reason to not give it a try! I would highly recommend this product to others that are considering ClassDojo. I am solving a lot of behavior issues with dojo. I have realized that there are many benefits to this platform, as the parents are able to stay on the same page with me at all times. This has been very helpful in managing some of the more difficult behaviors in my classroom, and providing parents with a peace of mind that they know how their child's day looked every day. There is an option for parents to see exactly what caused students to gain/ lose points, so that opens up that channel for communication at home when the student returns from school that day!! GoGuardian Teacher is an excellent program to help monitor what your students are doing online and gives you the opportunity to send them private chats when they're off-task or needing help. - I feel like they nickel and dime you a bit, separating their platform into different buckets and charging you more for everything they can. I understand they are a business, and they need to support new innovations, but sometimes it's a bit over the top. Especially when putting this much effort into new systems rather than fixing your old ones. If the LMS was in a more finalized state, rather than having half of the back end still existing on legacy pages, I may be more accepting of this.

- Ability to control visibility of courses doesn't exist in the courses itself, and must be managed by course catalogs.

- Ability to control widget or page visibility doesn't exist, with only the menu system (which houses the pages, pages house the widgets) allows you to control visibility.

- The entire system is very much built around their antiquated enrollment system. It seems they've made some improvements.

- Their customer ideas portal is not great unless you have a need that hundreds of other people have, and those people end up seeing your idea and voting for it, which is very unlikely to happen unless they take the time to go to the ideas page, and browse.

- We provide training for our customers as our main focus, both in terms of sales and service. Simply having an update to date learning system, coming from our home grown LMS, gives us more clout.

The app is not particularly handy for students to have on their own phones. It's slow when I need to quickly look someone up.

We used it for a long time for lock-out during tardy periods. Students all know what it means to have a "hero pass."

It is useful then, to check up on students who are not in class to make sure they have gotten passes.

It has also been a quick way to reward students, even if they aren't on your roster. Anyone can see their reward points and work with that.

The mobile version of Edmodo is currently lacking in what the desktop version provides. The accessibility goes down, almost if not all features are practically unusable. It is an average learning management software and an excellent way to communicate with students through discussions. I recommend that you use something else for learning and use this for discussing things with students after all the lessons on you schedule has been completed. It could be a little difficult to schedule lessons with many different teachers. Scripting is too technical to configure. A simple Quick Launch Transmission tool should be given to allow me to claim that you have these next computers in this room rather than open outdated configuration files. By limiting / removing constant distractors, all students can be held in charge. It is an instrument for helping teachers in the learning of students. Lack of student screens facilitates class unity and encourages a deeper comprehension of a concept which was difficult to do in the past without seeking any other way of making the student screen appear on the wall, having the class "meet" or having the student describes the issue audibly and hopes that the students will understand. I do not like the new online platform. It is not very user friendly and I do not like not being able to view the information on a full screen. I also wish the student pages were made available on PDF again, to help with reteaching and student corrections. I am able to better target my students' needs either for intervention or extensions. I am also able to use the vocabulary activities to to help my English Language Learners, develop the academic vocabulary. The motivation stations have really come in handy this year due to social distancing, students are able to have their own copy while still working together.

My only suggestion at this time is to somehow display if devices have been refreshed and/or received the latest modification. Filtering is no longer a problem with Relay. It always works and we don't have to concern ourselves with it. One major benefit we've realized is the speed of Internet traffic, especially while devices are at home, off-site. We previously used a proxy which slowed down the device's Internet speed.
