  ### 1. The number of users and their support is very good compared to other companies

**What do you like best about Userlytics?**

Because of the large number of users they have, after launching the user test, I can have the results in a few hours.
I'm pleased with the prompt response.

**What do you dislike about Userlytics?**

Sometimes, the quality of the participants is poor.
Specifically.
・They don't proceed with the research according to the task.
・They do not speak while browsing the site.
・They just give general opinions and don't express their own specific opinions.
・They complete the site more quickly than we expected (they are not browsing as instructed in the task).

**What problems is Userlytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are a UX research company in Japan. We have recently asked clients to research overseas users (USA, Indonesia, Singapore, Korea, etc.), but we only have a Japanese panel. So when we need to study abroad users, we can ask them to do the recruiting for us, which is very helpful.
Also, the person in charge is very friendly and supportive, so if you have any problems, they are there to help you.

Userlytics is intuitive to use and provides us with what we need to quickly and effectively conduct usability studies. Our account rep is professional and responsive, always answering any question we may have.

The quality of participants is generally good but there are instances where you get lazy testers that end up being unhelpful to your research efforts.

Sometimes they use her tests are faulty. At times we have received the videos with the no audio.

**What do you like best about Userlytics?**

Their Customer Service is great, all of it - account owner, operations, as well as invoicing etc. When there are issues, these are resolved super fast and in a friendly way.

**What do you dislike about Userlytics?**

Some of the testers could be more professional, and they are still a young company, so you need to reach out quite often as all the functionality hasn't reached their site yet. But I'm sure they'll get there.

**What problems is Userlytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are using it for user testing of the site instead of in-person tests. It allows us to avoid overheads and paperwork that come with on-site testing, the results are easier to analyze, and during the times of pandemic, it's also the safest and fastest option to get direct feedback.

**What do you like best about Userlytics?**

Userlytics takes the difficulty out of recruiting for and conducting user testing. The Userlytics team was able to target our client’s desired demographic and work with our moderator script to run with the interview process, allowing our team to focus our time on analyzing and implementing the findings.

**What do you dislike about Userlytics?**

Our client opted to get a report generated by Userlytics on the findings on the study. Although a great summary of the findings, there is room for this report to be more actionable.

**What problems is Userlytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Userlytics uses a database of research participants, so they take the pain out of having to source, recruit, and schedule participants internally. We also had the Userlytics researchers moderate our interviews, which allowed us to focus on analyzing the findings.

UI is a little old-looking, considering it is made for designers and product people to be using and the UX and UX copy could be better.

Do a test run of your test with one participant to make sure that it runs smoothly. Otherwise, you may waste money on a faulty test.

I like the fact it is possible to set up moderated UX tests but still being remote. As a UX designer, I do not have the full expertise of a UX Researcher, but with USerlytics, I can easily run usability tests on my own. Also, it is super easy to recruit participants that fit your target using the panel Userlytics provides.

**What do you dislike about Userlytics?**

The UI of the product is a bit old and sometimes it is not immediate for me to find the information I need

**What problems is Userlytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am mainly running usability tests on prototypes, so I can learn in advance what people will not understand perfectly before going into a process of development. 
Also, I find it is useful for getting feedback about the content and the UX texts we write in the product or on our marketing website

After researching many user testing platforms in the market, Userlytics was one of the few that offered flexible ad-hoc plans. This was critical for us as an agency to have this option as we were establishing research services in our company.

The UI is a bit rudimentary and but it's only a matter of time before they redesign their interface. Until then, it functional and gets the job done.

As UX Director, I was establishing the value of research and strategy. Userlytics allowed me to prove how insightful that information can be at the beginning of a product cycle by offering.

They make using a app on your phone to test their sites very easy to use and  the desktop site is also easy to use and as a large tool.

**What do you dislike about Userlytics?**

Sometimes the testing time is a lot longer than its advertised test time. This can be frustrating with a busy schedule to also keep up with.

**Recommendations to others considering Userlytics:**

Be sure to fill out your demographics accurately to get the right testing invitations. Get your notifications organized too so you don't miss a testing.

**What problems is Userlytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Able to supplement my income for the most part by taking part in the testing program and the app makes this easy to do when we are on the go handling other tasks in my schedule.

The tool is easy to use, works well, and it's key to identify some core UX problems that our current and upcoming features have. The quality of the testers is good and the customer support is great. Finally, the quality-price relationship is unbeatable: They offer the same or almost the same features as the big players of their market at a way lower price.

**What do you dislike about Userlytics?**

The fact that two users can't work on the same project, but I know this is being developed. Userlytics actively asks for customer feedback for its roadmap and the account manager gives you updates on those needs that you have that are being taken care og.

If you're looking for a tool to actually solve your core UX issues and develop smarter solutions, Userlytics is your tool. Don't waste your time with other tools and get the maximum attention and features.

We've identified or confirmed core UX problems of our search, our results page, and our navigation thanks to Userlytics. We've been able to test different prototypes, flows, and copies and we have possible problems by running 2-5 user testing tests every time we're working on an important feature change or update.

**What do you like best about Userlytics?**

The Userlytics team rewards credits back with little-to-no questions asked for technical issues their platform or other platforms (Figma, InVision) introduce to tests. They have gone a long way to help us discover technical issues in prototyping software we're using. They feel like a small enough team where your voice is heard, even if not always right away. 

Also, for what you get, the price is about as economical as it gets.

**What do you dislike about Userlytics?**

The interface can be very difficult to use. For context, I have to train colleagues on how to use the tool. On the customer side, if you want your own customers to use the tool to take a test, it can be very very challenging to get them set up.

Testing out their beta moderated services also left quite a bit to be desired. From trying to run about a dozen moderated tests, at least 1/2 of them were no shows or had technical issues which made completing the test impossible.

Userlytics is a solve for lean user testing problems. Generally, we are able to discover great insights, but there are times where bugs in their software get in the way.

We have a single point-of-contact who is always there for us to help out with any questions or problems. It's great to have a human being from Userlytics who's really on our side, and has an in-depth understanding not only of Userlytics, but how it can work for our startup.

**What do you dislike about Userlytics?**

It's a relatively expensive service, and although it's definitely good value for money it can be frustrating when you don't learn as much as you hoped from a user test.

**Recommendations to others considering Userlytics:**

As a new startup with limited experience in this industry I can't speak to Userlytics' product in comparison to competitors. However I can say with absolute conviction that their customer support is world-class. The product does what we need it to do, and we've had all the help we needed to get the most out of it. Highly recommended.

Setting up a user test is easy, though there are many options and super useful features, like screener, annotations or highlight reels.

**What do you dislike about Userlytics?**

Sometimes there are technical issues with the recordings (i.e. audio/video desync). However, there is a support team that helps you to fix these issues.

User testing of our games and prototypes. Very helpful especially in the early stages of development.

The beta version of the Live Conversation has been functional with minor usability issues. I would love to see some future improvements (e.g. Note taking field, transcription feature, screen sharing possibility for moderators) that would make the Live Conversation an extremely powerful tool.

Running moderated and unmoderated user tests, and sourcing international participants. Unmoderated user tests save a lot of time and provide quick quality feedback. Moderated user tests allow us access to Userlytics' international participants pool. The tool itself is easy to use.

Userlytics is an excellent platform for usability testing. Their customer support is first class.

Not much to dislike about Userlytics -their questionnaire functions can be limited in terms of questionnaire logic + piped text. Albeit, seldom an issue due to the designs of the test being focused on usability of prototype rather than complex questionnaire design.

**What do you like best about Userlytics?**

Simple and user friendly platform.  Learning curve is not steep and Ryan McCourt and team are always accessible and ready to help!
Really like the visual charts of responses, which I'm able to copy and paste in my presentation, great quality of video/audio recordings, and the overall layout of the platform.
Biggest differentiator is the level of support from Ryan and team.  They're super knowledgeable, kind, patient, and always willing to help!  They are true partners and go above and beyond to ensure your study is successful.

**What do you dislike about Userlytics?**

There are some limitations, but most are on their roadmap to be added or Ryan is able to get it programmed in the backend. 

1. For screener portion of the survey, unable to add open response questions.  But Ryan was able to get this programmed in the backend. 
2. For screener portion of the survey, unable create multi-select question.  But Ryan was able to get this programmed in the backend. 
2. Unable to break participants into different age groups in one study.  I had to create 3 different surveys to be able to specify how many participants I want from each age group.  However, Ryan was able to merge all 3 surveys into one when they were complete.
3. No word cloud or aggregate word usage system from transcript
4. No option to create a metric/table questions

Conduct unmoderated user testing via Userlytics and leverage their global participant panel.  It's more fast and efficient, so you are able to deliver more timely insights to your stakeholders.

Client Services Team is great to work with, there's helpful resources/demos, their Panel has high quality respondents and it's easy to meet your target quickly, and the reporting features are useful!

The steps to record and connect to an outside system like WebEx is very complicated and not user friendly for users from outside of Userlytics' Panel to dial into. Setting up surveys was also a bit tedious and needs some usability tweaks to make more intuitive, but the Userlytics Client Services Team will hand hold you through it and get it completed quickly.

They do not QA the videos from the participants, so many are not very good. This means you have to review them yourself and ask for them to be replaced if the video is not good enough - this can increase the time it takes to complete the user research

**What do you like best about Userlytics?**

I like that i can easily get feedback for my work which is done. The video recording available to view is also good as looking at their expressions when they interact with my design is really important for me to get additional insights. I also like that i can choose in detail what participants i want, the filters are really good to get good insights for your design.
They are also not just stuck to production ready work which is good as i can just upload my invision, xd or axure prototypes on it. Also i can introduce the onboarding questions to them to get a better understanding, this give me more freedom to design my research project and to get out lots of insights.

**What do you dislike about Userlytics?**

The depth of insights are not so good and also the interface is pretty much old and not modern. But i guess it is okay for the price at what it is giving, especially if you compare it to User tribe, 

**Recommendations to others considering Userlytics:**

Userlytics is best recommended for those who do not have a huge budget for testing and need testing to be done to improve the product usability.

I love the ability to observe the non-verbals of the participants as they go through the tasks.

Not being able to send out one link that groups varying persona groups even though it's for one project. Currently, it allows me to send out a link to each persona group, but if I'm testing across 3 groups with varying desktop and mobile devices, I end up having a lot more links to share to clients for highlights and reviews than 1 central "collection" for the project.

Depending on what you're trying to get out of it, Userlytics offers a pool of participants with screening criteria, but they also offer the ability for you to recruit your own while still utilizing their tools to set a consistent baseline in testing.

We're observing how users navigate and utilize the website functionality in order to address any opportunities or gaps to improve upon. It's been invaluable as a part of our digital process to continue testing and iteratively improve our product.

**What do you like best about Userlytics?**

The mobile app testing on Userlytics is superb compared to competitor products that I have tried in the past. I found it to be super easy to setup pre-user test... and didn't have any problems at all throughout the tests. I love how easy it is to integrate/use with other platforms like inVision. Many of the other user testing platforms I have used in the past only worked with fully-functional sites or apps, not prototyping software.

**What do you dislike about Userlytics?**

I found the pricing model to be a bit confusing and it took some time to get my employer to expense it. I also dislike the website testing process. Maybe it's because I've only used that once and I predominantly used the prototyping test features? In the one time that I used it, I found the website one to not work as smoothly and I had to restart it once throughout the test.

**Recommendations to others considering Userlytics:**

Userlytics is a great platform is you're looking to get solid user feedback on production or prototyping apps. If you're on the fence then I would recommend trying out their demo on their website. If you're switching from usertesting.com then switch over today and don't even look back as you won't miss it at all.

**What problems is Userlytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Trying to test mobile apps as they are still in the development stage in order to work out kinks of the main features. My coworkers and I have found that this is a super helpful platform to test working prototypes as it works with Axure, inVision, UX Pin, and many other industry prototyping tools.

I'm sure many other tools are capable of this, but it's important to me that Userlytics allows me to test Axure and InVision prototypes. It's pretty seamless in that sense. I also really appreciate that it lets me download the full recordings to my device - I like to use a video editor to parse out smaller clips for presentations. The annotations/highlights feature is also great.

**What do you dislike about Userlytics?**

Overall I'm very satisfied with it, but if I'm reaching for something to dislike - I'd say that the data it collects on its own is quite limited, as are their data visualizations.

**Recommendations to others considering Userlytics:**

If you're looking for something to do all of your data collection and analytics for you, this isn't your tool. If you're looking for something to make your data collection and analytics more efficient and more powerful, this is a good option.
