  ### 1. The biggest international user testing pool that is available in the industry.

**What do you like best about Userlytics?**

- Very granural participants recruitment tool (you can target based on a large variety of countries and languages)
- Has multiple answer screener questions to avoid giving away the purpose of the study
- Can add images to tasks now to compare website prototypes
- A very supportive team that not  only helps you with any issues but also gives you tips on how to best run user tests
- Can create multiple profiles under the same account, so everyone in the UX team can keep track of their projects

**What do you dislike about Userlytics?**

- Can't run unmoderated user tests with video on apple devices 
- You have to download the app to preview the test fully

**Recommendations to others considering Userlytics:**

If you require a user testing platform with an extensive international user testing pool, this is the platform for you.

**What do you like best about Userlytics?**

Some of the reporting capabilities after completing a survey are great - calculating things like SUS and being able to share results. 
Participants seem qualified. 
About half the cost of our prior contracted software.

**What do you dislike about Userlytics?**

The per-participant costs model versus an unlimited participants model can limit use as there is a known cost with each test. 
Visually the UI is a bit unbalanced and took getting used to.

**Recommendations to others considering Userlytics:**

Easy platform with lots of features to get started.

**What problems is Userlytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Testing at all stages of the UX design process, including live software. 
Polling participants for questions. We are using moderated testing internally.

**What do you like best about Userlytics?**

I like that I get a lot of surveys to answer throughout the week and month. I am use to these types of sites lacking with the amount of surveys you can take and they never disappoint. On the flip side we able to send out surveys to our clients to find out what we need to do to improve.

**What do you dislike about Userlytics?**

I dislike that a lot of their big-money surveys require to take them at really awkward times. They are always offering slots that are first thing in the morning and that can be tiresome. That also throws off the results that we are trying to use to tailor to our data.

**What problems is Userlytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I feel that we are solving problems of finding out what we need to do to improve our products and our client's satisfaction. It is pivotal to us that we know that for company.

**What do you like best about Userlytics?**

Building tests in Userlytics is simple and straightforward. The builder walks you through each step, so you don't have to worry about forgetting anything. The templated questions make it very easy to build your usability test. The results dashboard is also very comprehensive, with the ability to create highlight reels, tag, bookmark, download, share, rate, transcribe, etc. Everything we're looking for.

**What do you dislike about Userlytics?**

We have a target audience that is more challenging and expensive to reach using the existing Userlytics panel. Getting relevant results without using custom recruitment (additional expense) was not a viable option for our company.

**What problems is Userlytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are about to test how usable our new and existing products are. A major benefit is the time we save by using unmoderated testing for quick checks and tests. Not having to worry about the scheduling logistics is a time-saver.

They are lacking some "bells and whistles" that UZ and UT provide, that said they were highly economical in comparison

Gives us simplified recording (both video and data capture) of sessions, Sharing of clips with the team has been vital to communicating findings and what is possible as we grow in our maturity

**What do you like best about Userlytics?**

Userlytics makes it easy to test designs and so much more with users. Through their innovative features and easy to use platform my team has been able to conduct several usability tests and gather meaningful feedback to better shape our products.

**What do you dislike about Userlytics?**

If there was a way to drill deeper into a participant pool it would be great. Right now, we get more general participants who are in healthcare and we have a very specific user-base.

Userlytics helps us verify and validate our designs. They also provide a simple way to record videos of participants and see how they use our current platform, and interact with various scenarios we've newly designed.

**What do you like best about Userlytics?**

The customer service and project management was exceptional, even for our smaller test order. When test results began populating, it was clear that Userlytics had retained quality testers who didn't skimp on their responses and provided detailed commentary on our test design.
The platform itself is easy to use, and we were deligted that we could link to a Figma prototype for testing. The question types could use some expansion compared to the options available in say, Usability Hub. The ability to record and playback sessions, and the analysis tools such as the ability to add annotations to key moments in the session, the fact that he platform links questions to the timestamp in the video, and the ability to re-categorize user's indication that they were successful or not in their task were really stand out features for us.

**What do you dislike about Userlytics?**

The test targeting is rather broad, and we had to reach out for a special order to find testers who were more closely aligned with our website target audience. Despite this requiring more coordination, the platform's benefits in terms of test deployment, session recordings, analysis tools, and quality of respondents far outweighed the extra leg work to secure the best test respondent matches.

**What problems is Userlytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We've been able to leverage Userlytics to understand user experience issues with proposed website page designs and navigation before we've committed them to code. We've also been able to share test session clips with our clients that demonstrate the need to drop internal jargon from page copy or navigation labels. Clients appreciate that testing with Userlytics can test the design and IA decisions to verify end-user acceptance to reduce overall risk at launch.

**What do you like best about Userlytics?**

Userlytics is an excellent tool to test wireframes, implement surveys across the whole website, review user activity on single pages, collect heat maps and user feedback.

**What do you dislike about Userlytics?**

It would be good to have other features and tests as options. I find the current features very useful but it lacks diversity, compared to other tools available on the market.

**Recommendations to others considering Userlytics:**

I would highly recommend using Userlytics if you need to perform testing of wireframes, review your user activity and collect handy insights from your users via different tools.

Thanks to Userlytics, I can make sure every page is as user-centric as possible. I can review user activity on the whole website and correct any bug through recordings.

**What do you like best about Userlytics?**

We use Userlytics because we know we will be able to find excellent participants quickly that provide in-depth feedback on our designs. The tool itself is easy to use and has some really helpful features - we are using it today to create some highlight reels to present to stakeholders. The customer support is also excellent - whenever we have had any issue at all, whether with a participant or with the tool, we have had prompt support from the Userlytics team. The ability to annotate videos is great - you can add notes as you go through, you can clip parts of videos and save them, and share with others. The scheduling feature is very good - it's super easy to schedule a new session on both our end and the participant's end.

**What do you dislike about Userlytics?**

Nothing is missing that I can think of. The team are always making incremental improvements in response to feedback, so I feel as though they've done a great job at making a product based on user needs.

**What problems is Userlytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before Userlytics, we had a real challenge in turning around research quickly and reaching participants outside of our customer base. Since using Userlytics regularly we have been able to quickly and efficiently reach people outside of our core users and have gained a great deal of insight on non-customers. We have yet to use all the features of the tool, so we are looking forward to trying out other ways of testing in future. The biggest benefit of Userlytics that we've found is the excellent support from the team. If, for example, we aren't sure of how to screen for a particular user type, the team at Userlytics has given us feedback and suggestions to improve who we recruit. We are really happy with the level of communication from them on everything we've reached out to them for.

**What do you like best about Userlytics?**

This is an easy-to-use usability testing platform. It is easy to design questionnaires or to embed prototypes, websites and other functions. And the function of Userlytics is just like other regular survey platforms, there are no parts to relearn. In addition, you can get not only quantitative data but also qualitative feedback and even screen recordings. These features make remote online usability testing easy than other ways.

**What do you dislike about Userlytics?**

The mechanism for performing experimental subgroups is not well developed. If there are four conditions, it is inconvenient to repeat the four projects and change the prototypes or else. In addition, it takes a longer time to copy and duplicate the questionnaires and cannot be pasted then immediately. Lastly, I would like to see a larger font size, especially for Chinese users. It would like to be 14 pt or 16 pt or larger, which is a more suitable font size for them.

I performed usability testing that is related to human-AI interactions and successfully received it by the annual conference of the International Communication Association in 2022.

The speed in which you are able to get results is incredible! Userlytics has allowed us to verify our designs the same day in which we created them! Because you have user feedback so quickly, we can try multiple variants and optimise fast within a very short space of time. Being able to test our Figma prototypes means we save hours & hours of dev time and only develop the one, user approved design.

**What do you dislike about Userlytics?**

I wish we could segment the audience better. I would like to be able to narrow down to users within a specific job title, industry, etc. For a B2B product, this would really elevate our ability to test with the right users.

**What problems is Userlytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have always struggled with our general navigation and the terminology we use. Being able to ask users directly what they call certain sections, items, etc., means we can speak the user's language.

**What do you like best about Userlytics?**

I extensively researched many user testing platforms and Userlytics ended up being the most affordable platform by a long shot while covering all of my user testing needs. They have a good variety of qualitative and quantitative metrics. Customer support has been very responsive to emails and they've usually resolved my issues quickly. When I needed to conduct a special study with a particular group of demographics, Userlytics helped me recruit the participants.

**What do you dislike about Userlytics?**

The interface is not the sleekest, but they have been improving the interface and adding new features. I wish the QA process was a bit more thorough, as I usually have to request at least one test replacement for every study I do. It's very time consuming to have to do that each time.

**What problems is Userlytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I get to quickly validate my design decisions with their platform. Turnaround times are quick (for software only products). I've found user experience issues that I wouldn't have noticed otherwise.

**What do you like best about Userlytics?**

I have been using this tool for last eight months. It is less expensive as compared with other tools like UserTesting. Setting up the tests is effortless and efficient.

**What do you dislike about Userlytics?**

Its reporting features can be improved. It doesn't provide enough accurate data for A/B testing. Also, every user has their own dashboard with tests and reports, and even the admin cannot access it. You need to connect with your customer success manager to move all the data from one member to another if anyone leaves the organization.

**Recommendations to others considering Userlytics:**

If you are startup, you can go with it.

**What problems is Userlytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I have been using this tool for my product. I do remote user testing with the US, Canadian, and European participants and generate insights from the NPS, SUS, and other data. It helps to improve my product and make that for the actual users.

**What do you like best about Userlytics?**

I have been doing online user testing for over eight years and have used many different UX tools in that time.  Userlytics has been my user testing tool of choice for several years now.  Their site is easy to use and inexpensive compared to other similar caliber user testing tools.  It is effortless to set up a test, and they are very responsive to any requests or questions I have as I create my tests.  It's also nice they have a card sort feature now.  Few tools provide that.    Userlytics has been able to help me test and find native speakers who also speak English in every country I have needed including South Africa, Japan, China, and Korea.   They have made sure I have gotten quality testers which in turn has provided quality research.   Their pricing, ease of use, customer service, and quality of testers/panels can't be beat.

**What do you dislike about Userlytics?**

Initially, I didn't like the pink and blue color scheme they used, but it has been updated.  I wish there was an autosave on annotations/video clips.  Sometimes I forget to click save.

**What problems is Userlytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Finding ways to do research internationally on a reasonable budget is very challenging, but Userlytics has made it possible to test anywhere I have asked so far.  Their pricing model is nice in that you only buy what you need and can always add more credits as needed.  As a freelancer, that has been helpful for me to manage my research budget project by project.

The overall experience with Userlytics has been great. The platform is easy to use, has fast candidate responses, and excellent customer service. I'd recommend this platform to anyone interested in user testing.

**What do you dislike about Userlytics?**

I wish that panel credits were shared with all users within the company. You can move them over to different accounts within the company, but it would be nice to just have a total of credits per company that anyone can use.

Our team primarily uses Userlytics for unmoderated user testing. The quality candidate responses we receive for Userlytics testers have helped our user research team produce a better product for our clients.

I like that you can actulally get a lot of studies sent directly to your email that you can qualify for. Also the pre qualifiers are not that hard and you can qualify for a lot of studies.

We didn't use Userlytics internal annotation and analysis tools because we use Dovetail, and comparatively, the features offered by Userlytics were not robust. I would focus more on the service side than the software side, as many analysis tools exist.

The ease of implementation is understated. It's so user-friendly, and the speed of results is incredible. We've really used it to our advantage is it's helping us inform our experiment pipeline and the direction we're taking our key user touchpoints. Everything is great.

If the transcription function actually worked well, this would be the best user testing platform on the planet. The transcription function has definitely improved (and even now – with it not being super perfect – it's really sped up the notetaking process and has made analysis so much easier. Couple great transcription with the annotation feature that userlytics has and it'd be without a doubt, leagues above any other platform out there.

Please invest in your transcription software! Appreciate it's incredibly hard.

We're understanding how people interact with our product and service for the first time on our website. The consumer space now is rife with consumer subscription products, so we're trying to find new ways we can really 'stick out' as a brand, product, and service.  We're running new tests now as a result of the feedback we've gotten from people – thanks to userlytics. I can't say enough about it. It makes recruitment (probably one of the most painful parts of user research) so incredibly easy. Within hours of posting (and even sometimes, minutes) a research call brief – we have users scheduled and ready to go. It's incredibly fast, easy, simple, and intuitive.

I like the fact that you can do a variety of research / testing within the tool. Everything from surveys / questionnaires to more formal usability testing. The guided text / examples provided within the tool are a great addition so that you don't have to start from scratch when developing your test questions. One of the more recent updates to the  AI Transcription has made this feature quite robust, and a solid aid when analyzing data / reviewing videos from testing sessions. And I must also say that the Userlytics team of Account Executives and Consultants have been a pleasure to work with. Excellent customer service, collaborative, willing to go the extra mile, and they always turn over exceptional, quality-driven work (testing analysis / reports).

**What do you dislike about Userlytics?**

I wish there was a little more flexibility with the card sorting feature. And I wish there was a way to showcase multiple visual options to a user and allow them the opportunity to select which one they feel is most effective (if a way to do this currently exists and I've missed it, I may need to reach out for a demo of this feature).

Userlytics has allowed us to incorporate more research into our processes, and we've been able to turn things around in a more efficient manner than if we'd completely outsourced all of our research / usability testing needs. The tool gives us the power to initiate research and testing almost instantaneously. Being able to use the tool for recruiting purposes make the process even more efficient, whereas in the past I've had to rely on recruiting firms and separate testing and data collection tools to manage the research / testing projects. Due to priorities and workload, we're not always able to facilitate our research / testing projects from end-to-end. So having a partner like Userlytics to assist us with facilitating testing when scheduling doesn't allow us to manage it solely is a tremendous help.

I like the usability of the platform and the analytics capability. It is straightforward to launch a test quickly and get detailed, valuable data through the platform.

Using the platform across multiple team members can be a bit difficult. There are numerous levels of permissions you can grant to other team members on the same account. We had a bit of trial and error trying to understand how we could set permissions so that certain team members could view/ edit/ launch a test.

We are using this tool to gather feedback across our various mobile apps and new features. The most significant benefit has been the access to a large number of testers and the ability to filter by multiple demographic factors.

Userlytics is our go-to service for user testing, with good reason! As a small business, everyone on the team wears many hats, and we don't have a designated position for user testing. With their service, I've quickly set up user tests to get the feedback we need on our website design without issue. On top of that, the customer support is phenomenal. I've never had to wait long to hear back from our rep, Alex, and he's been able to solve every issue I've ever had. They genuinely want you to understand the product and can help with test setup if needed.

**What do you dislike about Userlytics?**

Occasionally, a user will ignore your user test prompts or rush through them without reading.  In these instances, Userlytics has reviewed the user videos and granted our credits back as appropriate. There's also a learning curve when it comes to setting up the user tests, but that's to be expected with any new service.

**What problems is Userlytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Setting up Userlytics tests and running them with real users allows me to get actionable feedback and information about our new website design in real time. It's a relatively quick and easy way to find out if our design as intuitive as we hope it is. After reviewing the tests and tweaking our design, we run another user test to see if our design update addressed the problem (or if there's still more work to do). When users breeze through the test without issue, I know that our design is exactly what it needs to be.

Userlytics allows us easy access to a panel of users for testing - the demographic filters are great for targetting who we need, while the ability to bring our users when required is an excellent feature. The mix between moderated and unmoderated tests is also extremely useful. The support is excellent, and the team is adept at helping us to get everything we possibly can out of the platform.

The video recording and PIP display have proven invaluable when sharing findings with clients. The ability to test mobile and web on the same platform has allowed us to streamline our testing process.

The only minor issue we have with the product is that some of our users would like a PDF report rather than the web report that Userlytics provides

Userlytics offers all the functionlaity we need to carry out a range of user tests. The mobile/desktop options plus the ability to bring our own users is invaluable. The recent changes to the recording software has meant that moderated tests have become more of an option when the project requires it.

Userlytics allows us to user test solutions from prototypes through alpha, beta, and final versions. We use it to test web applications and mobile apps. It allows us to get feedback from real users without investing time in creating a user panel.

**What do you like best about Userlytics?**

Userlytics is quick to set up, quickly identifies users, and delivers results and insights reasonably fast. It has made remote research a part of our company culture and driven valuable insights that have changed our product. We've used it for card sorting, user interviews, user tests, and experimental research techniques.

We've tried a lot of different ways to utilize it and it is pretty flexible. I am very impressed at how Userlytics actually helps recruit and analyze the information we needed for our projects.

**What do you dislike about Userlytics?**

It is a bit clunky and ironically could use some user testing for some of its workflows, but the value it offers is more significant than some of its UX issues. 

You also need to be aware that some of the recruited participants are not being authentic, so you need to be smart with how you set up your screeners. Due to the logic that the screener questions allow, you can be creative with how you sort out participant, so that is something to be aware of. 

Collaboration is difficult. I don't quite know how yet to collaborate with other users, like product mangers or my manager. This would be valuable, because we could share insights more elaborately. 

Another important thing that is frustrating is how they export card sorting results. It is exported as a CSV, but if you try to open it in a spreadsheet, there is so much work to do to make sense of the data that it's not even worth it any more.

I highly recommend experimenting with the different features they offer in unmoderated tests. You can get creative and gather interesting insights from users.

We're driving a lot of user research on our product. As the company has switched directions on our product, we have wanted to validate our decisions. We've utilized a lot of Userlytics features to understand our users better.

Moderated user interviews were easy to set up and conduct. The panel spots didn't fill up very quickly, but the customer service chat feature was always helpful. The reps were often friendly and offered to boost the test with their panel (Example: directly email people who fit our target audience and invite them to sign-up for our test). If I had a last minute test to conduct, I knew I could get at least a couple scheduled for the next day.

**What do you dislike about Userlytics?**

I often have back-to-back no-shows for moderated interviews. You're required to wait 15- 20 minutes in the empty chat room to get your credits refunded for no one showing up-- which can feel like a lot of lost time when you have multiple no-shows. The platform also checks settings before the interviews, but both the interviewee and I often had audio issues.

I recommend you take advantage of the live chat feature. They are quite friendly and responsive.

We are solving product problems and exploring potential new ideas. The most significant benefit is being able to screen for our target audience and talk to them directly within a week. Unmoderated tests were hit or miss (sometimes users wouldn't read or follow instructions). But if we were in a hurry, we could get fast insights with unmoderated prototype testing or card sorting. I also wish we could have multiple users on a single account, such as a business account with multiple users.

A super easy and intuitive platform that allows me to set up my research quickly. Additionally, Userlytics has a  friendly, responsive customer support/account team that answers any questions I have around functionality, navigation, and more.

Not a significant show stopper but having participants go between two separate browser tabs to read and then to complete each task can be a bit confusing for some of our participants.

Userlytics have helped me to grow and shape a user-centric, customer-first approach to designing our system. This means nothing goes out the door before validating through research with our clients and ensuring that our features align with their expectations and needs.

**What do you like best about Userlytics?**

Easy to use and intuitive interface with simple, straightforward functionality. The ability to link out the multiple prototypes within the one user test is a beneficial feature that I have not found on many/any competitor platforms. The video editing, annotation, and highlights reels features for the user testing videos are time-saving and great for analysis and presentation purposes.  Customer support is very attentive and personalised.

We disliked the pricing structures and subscription format. It doesn't feel very flexible. Unused credits are lost if you don't use them within the subscription period.

**What do you like best about Userlytics?**

Userlytics still manage to maintain a personal service which feels quite rare nowadays with SaaS providers. Our account manager was extremely helpful and informative not only during our procurement phase but also once we were a client. We are regularly introduced to new features and invited to try them our plus our feedback is welcomed. As a user testing tool, Userlytics offers us what we need - flexibility around using a combination of our own participants and panelists while staying at a reasonable price.

I like the fact that if we are not happy with the quality of a participant result, our scoring and comments automatically get forwarded for a review and a retest is provided if necessary.  Overall the participant results have been great and occasionally the quality is poorer but this is quickly recitified.

There is a lot of great functionality such as annotations during the video clips which are really helpful for compiling results to share with others.

It is fairly priced for an excellent product.

**What do you dislike about Userlytics?**

We're not currently  able to share tests and credits across users. There are workarounds such as sharing the test results as a link but for us it would be great to be able to have user roles within the product and shared access. Otherwise I have no complaints and of all the user testing platforms I have used, this has been my favaourite so far.

**Recommendations to others considering Userlytics:**

Get to know the product to get the most out of it. We are still learning new quirks and features months into using the tool.

**What problems is Userlytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We've used Userlytics on a number of new features including a cancellation flow, onboarding, new payment flow and specific flight tracking features. The benefits are user feedback that enable us to spot friction at the prototype stage and fixe before development.
