  ### 1. Love the platform, hate the new credit pricing

**What do you like best about Userlytics?**

The pool of Userlytics testers is the most helpful. Second I love the transcription of user session. It makes it easier to find the right feed back later. I can focus more on the conversation then taking notes.

**What do you dislike about Userlytics?**

I hate the new credit system. I liked the old one when you had a total amount of credits and you could use it for userlytics testers or bring my own users. Now that the credits are split I have all these left over credits for bring my own that I would rather use from the Userlytics testers. Plus alot of our users that we bring have issues getting Userlytics started and we cancel the test or go to Zoom. I would rather bting in Userlytics testers that know the system. I'm not sure I'm going to renew with Userlytics because of the new credit system.

**What problems is Userlytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Getting users that are not our regular customers.

**What do you like best about Userlytics?**

Userlytics transformed our testing procedures. Сustomer support is responsive. 

The platform is an extensive toolkit encompassing all the necessary features for testing projects, from usability testing to prototype evaluation: perfect design and user-friendly interface. 

One of the features we use often is delivering participants tailored to our specific requirements. Their large participant pool provides valuable feedback.

Userlytics is one of the only companies that supports Testflight and Android testing. They have an easy to use user interface with powerful functionality.

It takes some time to get testers when you screen for specific types of users (to be expected). Very expensive

It is very intitutive to use, so the product is not confined to just UX experts.

**What do you dislike about Userlytics?**

When I need to create multiple questions within a test, there isn't enough spacing to separate each question box. I often got disoriented and needed to double check to see which question I was working on.
Not every user meets the requirements of my target audience, but I know it's hard to acheive unless I'm the one actively recruiting users.

I mainly conduct user testings for my company's website on Userlytics, and I'm able to see if my company's webpage is user friendly or need any other improvements.

**What do you like best about Userlytics?**

Userlytics allows us to gather customer feedback 10x faster and cheaper than we would if we worked with a research vendor. It has been an invaluable tool for us and built trust with our development team. We recently ran a quantiative survey (n = 100) and received results in a few hours. This would've been at least a 30-day project with a vendor (kick-off meeting, proposal, contract signing, questionnaire development, fielding, results). 

The customer support team (Nate, Luis) is extremely responsive and helpful - they've helped us create multiple custom studies and invite back past participants at no charge. I have been working in Marketing for 10+ years and honestly can not recommend Userlytics enough. The pricing is also significantly better than other platforms we have used.

**What do you dislike about Userlytics?**

My only complaint is that occasionally the respondents are not high-quality. That being said, if you flag this, the support team will replace with a new respondent at no cost.

**What problems is Userlytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Userlytics allows us to gather feedback on ad creative and products in development. This early stage feedback allows us to rapidly iterate and kill projects if they don't fit customer needs.

I love the ease of finding test subjects, the support team is amazing, and the tool itself for building tests is very straightforward.

**What do you dislike about Userlytics?**

The only recommendation for improvement I have so far is in creating short videos for review. It is very hard to review where you are trimming the video and it is hard to find the clips you wish to put together. I figured out a system but I feel it could be improved.

The most beneficial thing for me is the pool of users for testing and automation of the collection of the test.

**What do you like best about Userlytics?**

Service and support is personalized, price is preferable to the "big guys." Quality of panel participants is very high (in the US at least), even compared with my previous experience with UserZoom. The feature set and pricing model allows for a wide variety of studies to be performed without your account department raising eyebrows.

**What do you dislike about Userlytics?**

Less mature than other offerings but they're improving. They're adding new features and integrations all the time, so hopefully most of the gaps will be filled.

**What problems is Userlytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Userlytics allows us to both quickly test public systems with their panel and securely test more personalized and sensitive systems for our members. The ability to pause the recording during some tasks makes our infosec and risk departments feel more confident in the tool. Unlike some other services, the range of activities that can be performed is great and they can be mixed as tasks within the same study. I feel like this maximizes the impact of our research budget.

**What do you like best about Userlytics?**

I have been Userlytics for almost a year now and what I really appreciate about it is the completeness of methods and tools for the User Research, also I really appreciate keeping contact with my Account Manager Anna who is really interested in helping us make the most about our expereience with the platform!

**What do you dislike about Userlytics?**

In my opinion something that could be improved in the platform are the trascriptions of the moderated session of testing, especially when don in languages other than English.

Userlytics help us cunducting and planning our user research activities in so many ways, from moderated to unmoderated user testing, to quantitative survey, to feedbacks analysis.

The dashboard is very well organized and intuitive. The ability to organize by teams and projects is very useful for our complex organizations. Test setup is simple and straightforward. Results are available quickly, and our reps are always there to help out.

The pricing model can be very confusing, I still need reminders for how our credits work and what each test will cost.

Userlytics helps us optimizing the time spent in user recruiting and session scheduling and let us collect all our insights and have a repository of all previous projects in a very smart way, complete with recordings and data collection. 
We have a prompt and helpful support by the Userlytics team and from our Accoun Manager Anna Fuge Barrachina whenever we need.

**What do you dislike about Userlytics?**

Something that could be improved would be the automatic transcriptions of the users' interviews, especially when they are not in English. Sometime the script is no 100% consistent with the speaking.

We love how Userlytics helped us to do research at scale starting small, and scaling up to become the platform of choice in our Group.

**What do you like best about Userlytics?**

Access to the participant panel is great - whenever we've had to recruit participants, the majority have been of a good quality, and they are always really quick to recruit, which makes running research really easy.

I like the notifications it sends to remind participants of sessions, as it means it reduces the risk of no-shows.

The ability to share screens is great so we can get participants to share through prototypes.

I also love having the ability to have observers unseen - they can chat in the background to me and view everything without overwhelming participants.

Our account manager, Gaia, is always really quick to respond and provides a brilliant service with helpful answers every time. When I first joined, she was only too happy to talk me through the platform and answer any questions I had.

**What do you dislike about Userlytics?**

It would be really helpful to be able to change the frequency of session notifications - 24 hour, 12 hour, 1 hour and 10 minutes before is a bit overwhelming for some.

Scheduling is also a bit of a nightmare with participants and observers - it would be great to have one link to send to observers instead of having to manually upload them every time.

**What problems is Userlytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our inability to reach out and contact customers and potential customers to test features and help us understand how our website is performing. Previously, decisions were taken off the back of what people wanted to do. Now, can we build up a base of evidence to make these decisions.

The tool is very straightforward. Things are logically arranged and the builder flows easily. Functionality is quite comprehensive, pricing is reasonable and account support is really excellent. The onboarding package we received is about the best onboarding I've ever seen.

**What do you dislike about Userlytics?**

We're in a narrow industry and it's not possible to set quotas on separate selections within a sample variable. This requires us to have separate studies to obtain our quota targets.

Our company is just beginning to develop user empathy so the demonstrations we're able to share about how users respond to our digital experiences is really powerful.

**What do you like best about Userlytics?**

Our account manager Anna is such an incredible asset. She replies to our problems imminently, always supports the work that I am doing and actively listens to our feedback.

The platform is convenient and generally we don't have any recruitment issues and recruit in a timely manner

**What do you dislike about Userlytics?**

The usability still needs some improving. Elements such as highlight reels, card sorting etc can be slightly restrictive which is a shame but I am aware that these are all in the roadmap to be improved.

I also think that the data pool could be more expansive

**What problems is Userlytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Userlytics allows us to recruit quickly and this is important to us to keep things moving quickly. We are able to screen for Nandos customers and non-nandos customers

We get personalized attention, the team is responsive and flexible with ways we can use our credits so that we get the most out of it. I've enjoyed working with Anna and Sophia.

**What do you dislike about Userlytics?**

The tool is a bit frustrating to use, particularly when we want to set quotas of certain participants (e.g., gender balance, mobile vs. desktop). This forces us to create a lot of different versions of the same study which is confusing.

Userlytics is our primary tool for getting qualitative user feedback about our product, eg usability testing. This allows us to understand what users like/dislike about our prodcut and why.

**What do you like best about Userlytics?**

Super helpful tool in running a variety of tests, I typically run unmoderated tests that can be templated and ran multiple times in the year or for a redesign project. Being able to duplicate tests, audiences and tasks is extremely helpful and scalable for a team that has multiple UX research leads.

**What do you dislike about Userlytics?**

The process of creating recordings, exporting those and waiting for them to upload, and then navigating the tool and finding them is an unnessecary amount of steps. I would love to be able to make quick, easy highlight reels for specific tasks of each test without having to bounce around the tool so many times.

**What problems is Userlytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The qualitative feedback from our website vistors that we simply can't get from analytics; what their impressions are of the site/page, what their next step is, etc. Having the capability to run card sorting, tree testing, competitive comparisons, etc is a huge win for our marketing department as we can give stakeholders real feedback from our key audience throughout the whole web design process; discovery, design, development, and ongoing iterations of our web products.

**What do you like best about Userlytics?**

It provides all the basics for UXR. It has a large panel and a quick response time. It's cheaper than its competitors.

**What do you dislike about Userlytics?**

It's user experience is not ideal. Hard to scan and switch between the studies. Hard to get video clips. Result screens are not visually appealing to add directly to the reports.
Provides no analysis tools, and no visualizations (word cloud, heatmap, etc.). 

Transcription quality is very low quality, especially for non-English speakers.

**What problems is Userlytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Userlytics helps us to conduct usability studies. It handles recruitment and incentivization for us. We are using its Reels feature to create user clips. As a solo researcher the UXR process would me much harder, slower and unproductive without Userlytics.

**What do you like best about Userlytics?**

The super-easy interface, all the different types of activities you can create, and the excellent recording and transcription of the interviews. Also, it´s very interesting not having to pay a license fee. And the great support of the Userlytics team, always answering really fast.

**What do you dislike about Userlytics?**

Testing in Android is still in beta and has to be improved (hopefully soon). The automatic recruitment process gets a little messy when launching several tests simultaneously since they have "parallel calendars". And I´d love to be able to filter result metrics by groups of users, not only one.

It allows easy remote testing, helps us with interviews and prototype testing, and it helps us recruit users for the research.

For unmoderated testing, it's easy and quick to get the results within 2-3 days.

1. For moderated testing, it's not intuitive to know whether the slots are booked or not. 
There's no notification on the study page or signpost showing there's an update on 'Schedule'.
We need to check Schedule to know that the slots were booked or not manually.

2. There are lots of tools on the market that would help users to generate summary and analyse the meeting. It would be great if Userlytics could implement AI to speed up the research process.

**What do you like best about Userlytics?**

The various test options have suited all of our needs, and the custom screeners have allowed us to target specific user groups easily for our different clients. Our customer service contacts are always very responsive if we run into any issues or have any questions.

**What do you dislike about Userlytics?**

The card sorting interface needs work, it was hard to use for us as the researchers, and difficult for testers to use. If the card sorting function were redesigned, we'd give Userlytics a 10/10. We've encountered some bugs but the customer service team is quick to respond.

**What problems is Userlytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have a small, growing research practice, and Userlytics has been the best fit for us in terms of features for the budget. We use the research panel a lot for usability testing, and haven't had any issues with filling our quotas with testers that match our screeners. The tool takes a little bit of learning to understand all the options, but that is true of any testing software. 
In general, we've had better feedback quality with moderated tests over unmoderated tests, sometimes the moderated testers aren't very engaged or don't think out loud as they're supposed to, but I think this is an industry issue, not an issue with the platform.

Userlytics checks all the boxes for user testing live products and prototypes for us. It is also very encouraging to see them adding features constantly. I was very excited when they released a fully web-based tester interface for example which increased adoption rates for our bring-your-own-user testing.

For us bring-your-own-user has come with some struggles, Userlytics has released some features to try to mitigate friction though. I'd like to see a dead-simple way for users to show up and take a test so we can get non-tech-savvy folks testing more.

We use Userlytics to both test existing software solutions with B2B and B2C users as well as test and validate new solutions in prototype form.

I like as well that they make continuous changes to improve the product.

I think the whole structure and process with the credits, always brings confussion of how much is the testing and the differences between bringing your own participants or using the panel.

One thing that I don't like... more participants are becoming experts on the subject so it's difficult to know if what they are saying is real or based on the number of sessions they have been on. It's not Userlytics fault of course.

I guess as well, the more specific you are on the screener more difficult it is to recruit.

Sometimes the interface for the testers to go through is not the easiest. It's not the first time when we have to arrange a Teams call because the participant is unable to join.

Quick recruitment, fewer worries about the process as is all managed by Userlytics. 

Getting participants through a screener pretty quickly.

And we get great support which is in the same time zone.

I really love supportive account and operations management and williness to help in all kinds of issues and tasks. Features variety is also a huge advantage, I see that the tool is constuntly improving and adding new useful features such as moderated mobile app testing.

Transcription feature might be improved, at least interviewer - participant speach should be divided for better understanding and quicker analysis. Responsive version should also be improved as I often use split screen feature on my 13'' laptop. So sometimes it becomes difficult to use Userlytics. It would be great if I could sync my work Google calendar with scheduling feature and add available timeslots not one by one but like available time period.

The main problem it solves is finding and recruiting relevant participants as close as possible to target audience.

It's easy and quick to recruit the right participants for my tests, and the tool offers lots of useful functionalities and question types to build an effective test. The testing interface for moderated is easy to use and has many options at your fingertips.

I would like more robust reporting and analysis features, like creating better reports directly within the tool, being able to identify insights more easily, and generally have a more smooth experience with annotations, transcripts and highlight reels. This is now a bit buggy and not very responsive. However, I'm overall still very satisfied with Userlytics

Userlytics is very easy to use and tests are turned around very fast. Videos are high quality and provide a ton of insights. The interface makes it easy to view the tests, take notes, share the videos, etc.

Sometimes there are testers who don't follow the steps properly or have poor video quality, however Userlytics has always replaced those videos for me right away.

Userlytics allows us to get CRO & UX insights directly from the end users. We're able to narrow in on our exact target audience and watch as they navigate through our site. Easy to understand testing options allow me to rapidly build a remote user test for my users to quickly gain insight. I enjoy that their panel of users feels quite diverse, as I've gathered unexpected feedback on my concept product interfaces long before they hit the dev cycle. Compared to other similar platforms on the market, their pay-as-you-go options for testing encourage me to be a little more test-heavy, as it's more budget-friendly. Really key in my startup.

Some of the metrics are a little difficult to follow and I need to create my own reports for conclusions, rather than the platform giving me a clear winner. All of the insight is there but can require some digging to get out.

I like the ease of the platform. There is no complicated process on how to setup a study from start to finish. I also like the level of detailed support we get. We have constantly seen communications with our account manager and their support teams answer emails in under 10 hours. I've never seen this before for any organisation.

I think some of the graphics and the colour combinations used are a little outdated compared to some of their competitors. I also think going through each task looks a little confusing - perhaps more spacing in between tasks, sometimes I get lost within tasks.

**What do you like best about Userlytics?**

Having a dedicated account manager is a major perk compared to more DIY testing platforms. Nate is always super responsive & proactive in managing our projects.

**What do you dislike about Userlytics?**

That said, there's a lot that I'd prefer to handle on my own, like managing quotas within one project, and assigning & editing project types between quant/qual/etc. 

We have a diverse team using the platform, with designers & other team members jumping in to help conduct research - having so many new users on our account, I've found that it is not an intuitive platform to learn quickly & our team ends up quite frustrated trying to jump in & run moderated interviews.

**What problems is Userlytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's helpful that they have a recruitment panel built in. They've helped us reach some diverse international targets & their recruitment fielders are great at managing project changes.

**What do you like best about Userlytics?**

Recruitment was a breeze, perhaps the fastest I've experienced. The combination of in-tool recruitment and account manager support where needed gave us all we needed. Out-the-box Userlytics had everything we needed.

**What do you dislike about Userlytics?**

The experience is very clunky. It took half a day of Q&A with an account manager to understand how to use some of the basics.I expect more from a new b2b SaaS solution, especially one that works in the field of user testing. Given their service's price point and occasional need, the company would make it more sense to me to shift from sales-led to product-led growth/go-to-market. Easier said then done!

Recruitment and delivery of moderated and unmoderated user testing, interviews and surveys.

**What do you like best about Userlytics?**

Great combination of features, pricing, quality, and quantity of the respondents pool.
Auto-transcripts, tags, easy-to-share reels.
Simple browser extension for respondents, no clunky software to install.
User interface is very easy to understand, considering there are many complex functions.
Pre-built templates for screeners and tasks which really helps in crafting my usability studies.

**What do you dislike about Userlytics?**

If there was something to dislike about Userlytics, it will be that I wish the web portal was slightly faster in loading and navigation.
Tag management can also be improved as tags only show up as a suggestion after refreshing the page.

**What problems is Userlytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am not keeping up with the news but I am already happy enough with Userlytics. Using Uselrytics has tremendously benefitted our team.

**What do you like best about Userlytics?**

There is plenty of stuff I liked with userlytics
- Responsiveness of the customer service team.
- Access to many workshops to get insights and better understand how to use their latest changes and updates.
- Possibility to either bring your own users or users from Userlytics, but it's coming from 2 different sets of credits.
- I don't need to worry if a test will be completed by Userlytics' users, I know it will, and it will be qualitative users in most cases.
- Concept of SuperAdmin is great to switch from one user to another to be able to understand easily which tests worked best or not and set some best practices in the tool directly.

**What do you dislike about Userlytics?**

- The tool is great to use, but annotating videos directly on userlytics could be a bit easier.
- Some times, some videos are not as qualitative so it's a bit frustrating, the team is super responsive and replace it, but it would be nice if we didn't need to be proactive and ask for a replacement (eg: someone didn't read the questions).
- The platform is easy to use, but it could benefit from some usertesting to be even more user-friendly.

**What problems is Userlytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Userlytics is helping us get some insights from real users before launching a project.
It's a great way for us to validate some assumptions early on, discover some weaknesses in the product, or even some opportunities we didn't think about at a lower cost.
It could be great to have some integrations with other applications as well, for instance to directly get notified on slack when you received some testers, rather than email, etc...

**What do you like best about Userlytics?**

I really like the support we receive from Userlytics, for technical issues or for doubts about the options we have using each of the research possibilities, how to organize our research teams, etc. I think this support is unbeatable and we feel they are always by our side. The platform is really useful for us and we are able to create very different campaigns for all of our different teams and products...From card sorting to 1 to 1 interviews or user testing.

**What do you dislike about Userlytics?**

The platform could be a bit more well designed...I struggled the first time I used it cause they were things that were not pretty clear. I feel that a bit of UX would work wonders for some issues that, although they are minor and don't affect the functionality of the platform, would improve the experience quite a lot.

**What problems is Userlytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have the possibility to contact users that are using competitor's products and to know about their experience using them. At the same time, it helped us start the research for a mobile product for which we didn't have any panel done of internal users. It was really useful to start gathering insights to improve it.

- Very granural participants recruitment tool (you can target based on a large variety of countries and languages)
- Has multiple answer screener questions to avoid giving away the purpose of the study
- Can add images to tasks now to compare website prototypes
- A very supportive team that not  only helps you with any issues but also gives you tips on how to best run user tests
- Can create multiple profiles under the same account, so everyone in the UX team can keep track of their projects

**What do you dislike about Userlytics?**

- Can't run unmoderated user tests with video on apple devices 
- You have to download the app to preview the test fully

**Recommendations to others considering Userlytics:**

If you require a user testing platform with an extensive international user testing pool, this is the platform for you.
