We use SureCloud for Risk Management and Control Compliance. The core product is strong, especially in validating data as it is entered, providing a clear workflow for users, and notifications when tasks are due (or overdue). There is a real focus on ensuring 'quality in' as data is captured.
The SureCloud implementation team was able to configure the tool for our particular business, which is quite
a complex matrix organisation. Advanced features that are not required can generally be configured out, but can be re-introduced later when required.
The support team is friendly and generally responsive. They provide weekly formal updates on issues and changes, as well as ad hoc support whenever needed. It is simple to log requests and issues, either by email or via online form.
We have seen previews of the upcoming 'Aurora' product, which is the next generation of SureCloud. It is good to see the company investing in its product, and responding to customer feedback for the next iteration of the tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The least successful part of the product is the reporting and dashboards. These are quite limited and clunky, and lack most modern features of BI tools, such as the abilty to drill down or to sort by multiple fields. They are absolutely fine for standard reporting, but not much use for more sophisticated data analysis.
We have encountered some performance issues (blue circle, awaiting data to refresh), which definitely increase as data volumes grow. The support team have worked hard to improve performance, but this will only properly be solved with the new Aurora product.
We initially implemented without external integrations. When we later decided to integrate with ServiceNow and Jira, we found that this has taken many more months than we expected, and has still not yet gone live.
The current product (soon to be replaced) also has some legacy design features that are less than helpful. Sometimes the support team clearly struggle to make it do what they want, and we have regularly seen new bugs appear that apparently result from code changes elsewhere having unexpected effects on us. We hope that the new Aurora product, being a complete bottom-up rebuild, will resolve most of the above issues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
