Pimberly has saved me loads of time merchandising products on our website as well as allowing new products to be uploaded in a timely manner.

The UI is very simple and easy to use, and makes it easy to keep track of product lifecycles etc...

The grading feature allows us to keep track of our content quality by setting rules and scoring our content against those rules. This ensures we focus our attention on the areas that are most important for consistency and shopability.

PIMBERLY PIM is an easy to use system that allows me to easily create new products and manage existing products in our catalogue. There is not much to dislike apart from there should be a way to do a multi code search using Primary SKU'S instead of just on Product ID's. This is because the majority of my colleagues do not use or know the system or PIM ID's so this can cause more work for myself. In my role I am responsible for digital asset creation and maintenance, I find the functionality to add versions of images and documents very useful as it saves time on me having to conduct audits on links on the website and updating links to newer versions of the file. Occasionally I need to look for particular products on PIM in my role and - mostly because of my own infrequency of use of the function - it can take a couple of attempts for me to filter for the products I need, but I acknowledge this is because I don't have to do this regularly. I find Pimberly SaaS PIM & DAM easy to use and configure, which is great because we are always changing the type of information or attributes we want to hold against our products. I like that Pimberly SaaS PIM & DAM is based in the UK, so we have access to a knowledgeable set of experts and feel like we matter to them, rather than being just another client. I appreciate the simple integrations with our Business Management Software and how it outputs to our upcoming new website and eCommerce solutions, meaning the whole data stream is controlled easily from one point. The Pimberly DAM could be better and more organized, but we know that this is 'in progress' and will be rolled out shortly. We have an issue limited to a small range of products whereby subscript and superscript values are not able to be inputted at present. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Before switching to Pimberly, we were using spreadsheets saved in a shared folder to upload and amend product data. This caused numerous issues like overwriting other peoples' amends and lack of version control or traceability. We sought out Pimberly as they were recommended by another firm, and we were very surprised with how smooth the implementation was. It did take some time to get all of the taxonomy and schema set up, due to the complexity and number of skus we have (over 150k), but once the foundations were in place it was very easy and simple to migrate all our data across from Magento. From this, we were able to build some rules on product title lengths, description depth and also meta data length. Every time we come across any issues with the platform, we messagetheir support email and within 5 minutes we nearly always have a response. Its very impressive! Probably more of a criticism of a PIM itself as opposed to Pimberly itself, but we have found that, as PIM is a tool external to our Magento store, we do sometimes have issues with changes/amends not pulling through to our website at the first time of asking. This can create some confusion as to what has gone wrong, and it may be that an attribute is incorrect in the PIM or the connection isn't working as intended. However, once you become comfortable with the system and understand how everything connects, the experience becomes much smoother. What I like best about Pimberly is how easy it is to use while still being very powerful. There’s very little to dislike overall. Some areas of the platform have a learning curve at first, particularly when setting up more advanced workflows or data models, but this is largely due to how flexible and powerful the system is. I like Pimberly SaaS PIM & DAM because it's really useful from various roles within the company. As a developer, its API interfaces are easy to use and give us access to all the data we need. We have a variety of systems we call bridges, and using the API, we can extract data and pass information to and from other systems that we still use for other purposes, like warehouse/stock management and our product search on the website. Also, the initial setup was very easy, and Pimberly was extremely helpful during onboarding to ensure we had feeds set up to get data in and out of the system.
