I find Pimberly SaaS PIM & DAM easy to use and configure, which is great because we are always changing the type of information or attributes we want to hold against our products. It provides one source of truth for product information and documentation. The channels offered by Pimberly give us good ways to group products for our external systems and allow us to effectively manage our various operating companies. Sending product info to our websites becomes easy with Pimberly. The setup took a while but was relatively straightforward, and we had good support, which helped a lot. I love using Pimberly SaaS PIM & DAM because it has become our central hub for product information management over the past five years. It serves as a single source of truth for all product data, significantly speeding up and enhancing the efficiency of publishing and updating products across various marketplaces. Before switching to Pimberly, we were using spreadsheets saved in a shared folder to upload and amend product data. This caused numerous issues like overwriting other peoples' amends and lack of version control or traceability. We sought out Pimberly as they were recommended by another firm, and we were very surprised with how smooth the implementation was. It did take some time to get all of the taxonomy and schema set up, due to the complexity and number of skus we have (over 150k), but once the foundations were in place it was very easy and simple to migrate all our data across from Magento. From this, we were able to build some rules on product title lengths, description depth and also meta data length. Every time we come across any issues with the platform, we messagetheir support email and within 5 minutes we nearly always have a response. Its very impressive! Probably more of a criticism of a PIM itself as opposed to Pimberly itself, but we have found that, as PIM is a tool external to our Magento store, we do sometimes have issues with changes/amends not pulling through to our website at the first time of asking. This can create some confusion as to what has gone wrong, and it may be that an attribute is incorrect in the PIM or the connection isn't working as intended. There’s a bit of a learning curve when you first start using Pimberly, especially while getting familiar with its workflows and structure. Some of the initial processes can feel a little repetitive or manual, particularly when setting up templates or configuring product attributes. However, once you become comfortable with the system and understand how everything connects, the experience becomes much smoother. Tasks that once seemed time-consuming quickly become second nature, and the platform proves to be both efficient and highly reliable for day-to-day product data management. I like Pimberly SaaS PIM & DAM because it's really useful from various roles within the company. As a developer, its API interfaces are easy to use and give us access to all the data we need. We have a variety of systems we call bridges, and using the API, we can extract data and pass information to and from other systems that we still use for other purposes, like warehouse/stock management and our product search on the website. Also, the initial setup was very easy, and Pimberly was extremely helpful during onboarding to ensure we had feeds set up to get data in and out of the system. I really like how easy it is to set up and manage our attribute schema in Pimberly SaaS PIM & DAM and to integrate with our other systems using feeds and channels. Our product offering has a wide range of variations, and the system makes it very easy to assign a schema to a group of products. This allows users to focus on the data needed and not have to research something irrelevant. It also allows us to set data integrity rules and enforce those as we enrich our data. For the DAM side of the system, I wish it had a better interface and integration for managing idea boards and other similar features. I would also like to see the ability to pass the metadata tags via the API interface. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It's great to have a "one ring to rule them all" approach to product data, once the data is happily residing in the PIM you can easily (and automatically) update it with feeds and send it out with API channels and outputting files to SFTP locations. We have also introduced a new product system utilising their Big Commerce feeds to populate an internal proofing website where Product Managers can see the product they are proofing holistically without needing to bounce around disparate fields.

I use pim daily and find the lifecycle element on PIM helpful and easy to find out what information is missing for a product to move on, improves communication within teams for unique channel enrichment. I also like the recent activity section, as when mistakes are made its easy to see who made them. The customer service team is excellent, tickets are seen to and sorted quickly and effectively. Although I have just said I like the recent activity section within pim, recently its become harder to see what has been edited as it shows the ID rather than the name. One thing we use a lot is the tables within pim for size guides, however I find them really un-user friendly, as once you make a mistake, its difficult to edit. PIM is clear and easy to navigate, which makes onboarding and daily use straightforward for the whole team. Making changes is simple, and the structure of the PDTs is logical and easy to understand, even for those new to PIM systems.

Enrichment functionality, particularly the ability to involve suppliers in the data completion process.

Creating parent codes manually can be quite time-consuming – a more automated approach would be appreciated, especially when dealing with large product ranges. Additionally, from a visual point of view, we’d love to be able to view seasonal collections in a more visual format, such as a list with product images for quick referencing, instead of having to click into each product. I like the filtering options in Pimberly SaaS PIM & DAM, especially being able to search by name and category. These features allow me to create to-do tickets for the content team and structure work effectively. It's a big improvement over HCL, which was frustrating to use. When I have a product with about 10 images, I cannot re-order the images without another image moving, so the only way to do this is to zoom out on my screen so the images all sit on one line. This is frustrating because I have to do it on nearly every guitar product we sell. I would like to be able to categorize products on a category without having to tick a category which is the lowest sub-category. This results in me having to do an export, type in the category I want, then doing an import for one product.
