Setting up bar codes makes scanning a breeze. The software instatllation is easy to implment with the detailed instructions I was provided and if I come across any issue the customer support is very knowledgable and helpful. **What do you dislike about MHC Software?** Sometimes the scans don't process correctly and have to be re-scanned. **What problems is MHC Software solving and how is that benefiting you?** File Storage is very benificial. The new knowledge based authentication for terminated employees has reduced the amount of reprints that the Payroll staff does. This software had been around for a long time and worked well. We also used the IDProtect redaction function. This was hit or miss on how well it worked. **What do you dislike about MHC Software?** Typically, IDProtect hits would "over identify" items to be redacted. Every document needed to be reviewed for improper hits. Communication from support, our account rep or anyone at MHC was difficult at best. Typically I would not receive any acknowledgement that I sent an email or requested anything. Status updates on the last project we did was virtually non-existent. We had a good routine on premise and was able to archive our paystubs and tax documents. The software has been consistent in performance over the years as well, which is important for our business function. **What do you dislike about MHC Software?** There is honestly nothing that we dislike about the software, it functions well and provides the services we need. **What problems is MHC Software solving and how is that benefiting you?** We use MHC to process our check and ACH payments. We benefit from the use of this software because we are able to have the payment information automatically sent to our bank, and all payment data is stored within the software so we can easily locate items. Support is good most of the time. It just does what it's meant to do without a lot of complication or frills. It's got a Windows 98 look and feel. The UX could be improved and a cloud-based solution would seem to coincide with compatible ERP software. I like that it's easy to understand how it works by reading the manual and inspecting the settings. **What do you dislike about MHC Software?** Testing changes is somewhat laborious, and we often needed another round or two of code changes before putting them into production. However, it is important to test any product changes thoroughly, so that may not be specific to MHC. **What problems is MHC Software solving and how is that benefiting you?** We've been using Document Express to print checks and advice statements, and various tax form documents for years as our sole solution, and needed very few adjustments along the way while our ERP system was updated. We use Image Express for both Finance and HR to store PDF images of documents such as invoices, checks, journal entries, receiving slips, and employee documents, enabling us to save on paper document storage, and enabling easy digital access to call up the images for authorized users. ### 25. We don't use a lot of the bells and whistles that I assume come with the program, so the check printing process works pretty simply for us. **What do you dislike about MHC Software?** The interface is clunky and out-of-date. There are some simple user experience issues that are very annoying (like not being able to sort the list of positive pay reports). The user administration utility is also not very intuitive at all. **What problems is MHC Software solving and how is that benefiting you?** We print checks internally and the MHC software Document Express accomplishes that. The workflow process, which is set default, can not be changed so quickly; troubles are faced when trying to change the process.
