This was an upgrade from a script based solution to a GUI allowing the users more flexibility and control over what payments are transmitted. We were also successful in developing reports from the underlining Document Express database as it is clearly laid out and easy to pull information from. ### 3. We recently began to add products they offer and the experience has been outstanding. They have been excellent to work and always provide insight into best practices. They are also very proactive and reach out when there is a product or change to processing that we may need to review. **What do you dislike about MHC Software?** I have never had a negative experience with MHC. **What problems is MHC Software solving and how is that benefiting you?** We currently use MHC for check, 1099, W2 and 1095-C printing. We have just added ACH formatting for Bank Transmittal with remittance to vendors. The project we are currently working on is to include their OCR technology and document imaging for Accounts Payable automation. ### 4. I have been able to build additional automation that was not available out of the box and integrate it into our current solutions and have also been able to create reporting through SSRS, querying their back-end tables. In addition to their solid software, their support is by far my favorite support group to work with. When you call them, you get a quick menu that asks which product you are calling about and then are immediately put through to a live person every time. They are always happy to jump on a webex with you and our problems (which have been few), are sorted out quickly. **What do you dislike about MHC Software?** Some of the software looks dated and some of it is still written in VB4. This applies more to the desktop clients like IXManager and Document Express than the Web Clients like Document Self Service. One other area where they could improve would be to offer API's and REST services that allow you to interact with their software in a supported way. I have found ways to do just about everything I need to do, but some of it took learning how the processes work behind the scenes and feels a bit "hacky", compared to what it could be if they offered out of the box solutions for integration. **Recommendations to others considering MHC Software:** I would highly recommend MHC. It has been a pleasure working with them and their solutions are flexible enough that being a coder, I have been able to implement additional scripts, reports, and automation that wasn't readily available out of the box. **What problems is MHC Software solving and how is that benefiting you?** We currently use MHC software for posting, publishing, and emailing encrypted copies of pay stubs to individuals. Posted pay stubs go to Document Express, where employees can view them in addition to tax documents, contracts, and other employee documents that we want to make available through our employee self-service module. We also use MHC's Image Express as our Image repository for Accounts Payable/Receivable, Purchase Orders, Invoices, Payments, and HR Documents. Their indexing capabilities make documents quick and easy to find. Their notation, attachments, and audit trail features are also one of the things that make Image Express such a great place to store our hundreds of gigabytes of images. We have worked with MHC to create links from various screens in Infor Lawson to link back to documents in Image Express for easy access to pre-filtered data that has to do with a specific employee or transaction. This makes quick and easy to jump from one system to another and get exactly what you are looking for. ### 5. The price for the software is very reasonable and it interfaces well with Infor. MHC is also focused on security and we used the mhcKBA framework to ensure associates can access the system with personal email addresses. The implementation decreased our use of paper and unsecured emails with personal information. We have had the same sales representative for some time and he is consistently responsive and helpful. We also use their software for check printing and connections to our banks which helps to automate and secure these important links. **What do you dislike about MHC Software?** I cannot say there is anything I dislike about MHC. The products are well thought out and function without much support. The only thing I would change is to have a more modern interface on the web pages used for DSS. **Recommendations to others considering MHC Software:** Gather your business requirements and document the business process. Ensure you have the right skill set to perform the configuration of the application you are integrating with and knowledge of Windows Server and SQL server. **What problems is MHC Software solving and how is that benefiting you?** Delivery of electronic pay advice and vendor 1099's through the use of DSS. This reduces paper printouts, saved the time of payroll and AP personnel and provides additional security against exposing PII. We are also solving the issue of being able to view and print POs by implementing Image Express. The system will allow buyers to PDF print a readable PO to send to vendors and internal associates. ### 8. The software is intuitive, well tested, user friendly, and robust. The value to cost ratio can't be beat. We very rarely experience any issues and when we do it's because something has changed on our side. When we call support or seek direction around upgrades we always work with the same team at MHC and they provide personal service and make sure our issues are resolved. If we tell them something could work better, they call us back later and ask us to test the enhancements we recommended. **What do you dislike about MHC Software?** The only thing I don't really love about using MHC is that there is a desktop component. This requires that we have a common PC available in treasury to ensure anyone from that staff can run the software. The same holds true in our computer operations area when publishing to document self service. **What problems is MHC Software solving and how is that benefiting you?** We use document self service for W-2's, employee benefit statements, and paychecks, Payroll ACH, and produce all of our tax related forms through MHC. ### 9. Rarely - if ever - have any down times with our Document Self Service (pay stubs, W-2s, etc) applications been due to MHC product software issues. The same is true with Document Express, which we use for checks, invoice, and statement printing. The technical assistance with MHC products is superb. Most of our issues are resolved within an hour. Their technical support staff is professional, courteous, and very well informed about their products. They are patient, even when I request to take screenshots of their actions for future reference to assist me as the system administrator. Any questions that I have that they do not have an immediate response to, are usually answered the next day. They follow up. **What do you dislike about MHC Software?** I've yet to encounter a dislike over the last 8 years. **What problems is MHC Software solving and how is that benefiting you?** We no longer print pay stubs, they are printed as a pdf file and published to Document Self Service for our employee's convenience. As we have over 10,000 employees this is a great savings in time with the manual printing and handling of pay stubs.
