I highly recommend doing business with them. **What problems is MHC Software solving and how is that benefiting you?** MHC automates our Purchasing process, helps us deliver W-2s & 1095-Cs electronically, as well as the basics like check and tax form printing. With the implementation of their products, duplicate data entry has been reduced. The time to submit orders to vendors has decreased and employees have early access to their tax documents. Providing copies of forms is much smoother since documents are available electronically. Additionally, we are able to deliver other year-end documents, such as Total Compensation Statements! ### 3. The system is difficult to administer and maintain. The system has performance issues and cannot support the volume of data we process daily. Missing information from purchase orders, vendor information, or invoice images are frequently missing. We rolled out electronic W2 and this has greatly reduced the number of reprint requests we receive. They have subject matter experts available for assistance when needed, and are always very professional, knowledgeable, and courteous. **What do you dislike about MHC Software?** Due to our older implementation, our environment has multiple versions of the software in use and we're seeing some account vs software verson issues, but this is something an upgrade to the system and client software will fix, which MHC is helping us with. **What problems is MHC Software solving and how is that benefiting you?** MHC helps us publish and print (where necessary) W-2 and 1095-C tax documents for our colleagues. We process over 1K invoices thru their system. **What problems is MHC Software solving and how is that benefiting you?** Benifts of having all your company cost in one system. Their Multiple cost audits allow me to identify any overcharges quickly. No Manual Data Entry need it. ### 36. They have even gone beyond their expected scope to ferret out solutions with us. All businesses have their nuances and they helped us meet those needs. Even with providing a way to have more readable payable and deduction descriptions on the pay stubs as opposed to what is in our payroll system. Adding new bank positive pay formats, reconciliation uploading and the ability for employees no longer with the company to access their reporting documents. They have the ability to keep track of modifications solely for our needs. **What do you dislike about MHC Software?** Very little really. They can make mistakes, but they've been minor and they were quick to recover. **What problems is MHC Software solving and how is that benefiting you?** We originally acquired MHC to offer electronic W2 self-service to our employees from an ERP requiring a custom extract. Later we moved to a new ERP they are partnered with and facilitated their modules to aid in our accounts payable payments, check and ACH. We contracted to add a CTX format to our ACH offering and process our 1099s too. Email notifications and remittance attachments. Then we added processing payroll checks and direct deposit with pay stubs available through self-service. 1095s as well. Through it all their support and guidance have been there right with us. The MHC staff assigned to the implementation project have been fully engaged and helpful. The electronic processing and storage of invoices with Image Express has been a very significant productivity gain for our AP and Purchasing departments. **What do you dislike about MHC Software?** The way MHC breaks out their software into numerous separately licensed modules---while it allows flexibility in offering features for various customer requirements---is confusing and a bit overwhelming. **Recommendations to others considering MHC Software:** MHC is great to work with and we've found it has all the modules, functions, and features we needed to address multiple business process problems. Be sure to understand and document your business processes and identify the problem areas. **What problems is MHC Software solving and how is that benefiting you?** MHC Image Express has addressed the problem of manual paper-based processing and storage of invoices and manual data entry of PO information into our Infor ERP system. The use of Image Express has resulted in about 80 hours of productivity gains for AP and Purchasing. The use of the MHC e-forms have completely streamlined the processes for employee reimbursements and payment requests and replaced the manual Excel-based process previously in use. MHC Document Express and Document Self-Service will replace several disparate systems resulting in lower annual software maintenance costs and maintenance time for my team. Finally, once we start indexing and storing payment information it will provide the organization much needed timely access to AP and Payroll payments that they do not have today. ### 43. I am able to customize import routines to stop users from importing incorrect files. We have a complex environment requiring multiple files to be run to different accounts. By customizing the import routines, I am able to prevent users from accidently selecting or importing incorrect files, something that happened frequently with our prior software. **What do you dislike about MHC Software?** Advanced users should have more ability to map form data as changes happen. Currently this requires a work order to have MHC do the updates, when an experienced superuser would be able to do it themselves. **What problems is MHC Software solving and how is that benefiting you?** We run multiple checking accounts with high volumes in each, MHC has allowed this task to move from the IT department to the Accounts Payable department with easy to use interface that requires no technical skills. System routines control the import of data and automatically make backup copies of all files used. Also the history function allows reprints of prior checks or screen shots when needed, all very easy to access. ### 46. With DB logs, and application logs we can easily trace back to our mistakes if ever there are any. **What do you dislike about MHC Software?** Some of the configuration screens could potentially be combined to make the overall configuration a little easier. Although it is the configuration what makes it easier for my users to use the software with much ease. **Recommendations to others considering MHC Software:** If using the software for the first time, all the initial set up is worth the time once the software is set up correctly there is minimal maintenance going forward. The software is also well put together that users have generally no issues when they use the software. **What problems is MHC Software solving and how is that benefiting you?** I can't say we are solving new problems with MHC, we have used the software for many years >15 years; upgrades have been a little involved due to the types of upgrades but overall the software has performed to our expectations. the benefits that we realized, when direct deposits became more prominent for both, our employees and our vendors MHC already had all the necessary configurations for us the send deposit files to the financial institutions without us having to acquire new software. **Official Response from Kelly Knight:** > Jeronimo, Thank you so much for sharing your feedback on MHC Software’s products! Annual updates and additional modules have been easy to install and reliable. **What do you dislike about MHC Software?** I have no serious issues or dislikes at this time. **What problems is MHC Software solving and how is that benefiting you?** A reliable and compliant solution for generating tax d ocuments ensures that our employees get the information they need efficiently via a simple, seamless and supported process. Payroll, finance and HR departments are unburdened from keeping up with form changes and annual updates. The updates we receive from MHC are easily applied by the IT department and integrate easily with our HRIS and Financial software.
