**What problems is Docebo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Docebo solved two main challenges for us: First, it consolidated multiple LMS platforms into a single system, creating consistency across the company and reducing costs. Second, it provided better reporting capabilities than our previous systems, offering more detailed analytics and customizable reports that give us clearer insights into our training effectiveness and learner progress.

  ### 2. Transforming Training through Seamless E-Learning

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Furniture | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 27, 2025

**What do you like best about Docebo?**

Docebo is a powerful LMS designed to deliver and scale modern learning experiences across various industries, including an intuitive interface, support of diverse content formats, and customizable learning paths. Docebo has helped bring our company's training initiatives to an e-learning experience, streamlining accountability and digitizing our completion records cross-departmentally.

**What do you dislike about Docebo?**

While the desktop platform is easily accessed and navigated, we have had some experience with mobile users struggling to login to and navigate the Go.Learn app with ease.

**What problems is Docebo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Docebo has allowed our organization to transform our training strategy from primarily manually recorded instructor-led sessions to digital learning courses with powerful insight tools. We are now able to facilitate standardized learning objectives across the company with ease and provide executives with quantifiable knowledge statistics supporting the training department's impact.

  ### 3. A competitive LMS

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Robert B. | Instructional Designer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 28, 2024

**What do you like best about Docebo?**

Once a course is created, I like that Docebo creates a custom URL that can be shared with employees, giving them direct access to the course.

The course creation process is also very easy and has many nice features to customize access how you want users to access the course.

The LMS has many basic and advanced features you'd expcet to find in a top tier LMS.

Another good feature is the ability to log external training. We encourage all employees to log any training they take that occurs outside of the LMS using the external training feaute. It's very easy to use and has a bulk upload feature as well.

**What do you dislike about Docebo?**

Docebo needs to work on going back to basics and refining admin and end user experiences. For example, some admin screen columns are not sortable, making it difficult to find and sort information. Calendar appointment attachments still need work - they are clunky to accept. And accessing link to join Teams meetings from inside the course page is clunky and not intuitive as well.

They did just change their customer support model which I think will be an improvement over their old model.

**What problems is Docebo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Docebo has created a centralized place for all things learning within our organization. It's allowed us to fully track much of the learning activity happening within our organization.

  ### 4. Docebo is Average

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 05, 2024

**What do you like best about Docebo?**

I think that I like most about Docebo is that the UI is easy to navigate.

**What do you dislike about Docebo?**

I think the thing that I dislike the most about Docebo is that it seems to be hard to change or adjust anything.

**What problems is Docebo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use Docebo as the base of our product platform

  ### 5. Review

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Insurance | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 06, 2024

**What do you like best about Docebo?**

Accommodates many of our needs for e-Learning courses.

**What do you dislike about Docebo?**

Lack of communication regarding changes or delayed communication. The customer service is not the best when submitting tickets. The customization of the pages is very limited and somewhat "old school" compared to other LMSs. The Power User profiles also have limited customization. The ILT feature is not useable and creates more work for the team.

**What problems is Docebo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Tracking enrollments

  ### 6. Not perfect but the best LMS I've worked with

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Aimee S. | Learning and development Principle, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 17, 2023

**What do you like best about Docebo?**

The user experience is good in Docebo. It's easy to set things up in an easy way for the end user but it also has most of the backend stuff of a 'serious LMS' that is required for compliance etc. There is definitely room for improvement, but this is a good, well-rounded solution and I've looked at a lot of different systems. I like that the Coach and Share element that allows for community building, knowledge sharing and working with experts which is very important in any modern learning ecosystem. I also appreciate that it is easy to use even as an administrator.

**What do you dislike about Docebo?**

The certification renewal functionality needs updating.
The notifications are clunky and difficult to work with, although you can actually do a lot with them.
The skills mapping functionality is an exciting development with huge potential, but it needs to be customisable. The skills library used is not relevant to most organisations I've worked with.

**What problems is Docebo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Tracking mandatory learning for a regulated healthcare organisation.
Offering eLearning and instructor-led learning.
Rolling out leadership development programme.
Offering continuous personal and professional development to employees.
Potentially promoting knowledge sharing and recognising expertise.

  ### 7. Meets Expectations - Could Exceed Them

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** William I. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 23, 2023

**What do you like best about Docebo?**

In corporate learning, it's fairly straightforward and includes the necessary features for delivering internal or external training. Courses have the minimum features to host third-party content or bespoke content. User and Course Management allow categorization. You can distinguish between your types of learners and your types of courses. The Power User system continues to get better and better, making it a viable roles and permissioning tool. Custom CSS and language Localization tools make the platform almost completely customizable: want to hide a feature? add a wait list banner? change the name of eLearning to "Online Learning"? You can do that and more.
The API is the most powerful tool in this platform. Automate, automate, automate and join the Docebo Community to see how your colleagues around the world are making the most of the API.
And, the most powerful part of the Docebo ecosystem is their Chat Support. Some of the best Chat I've ever worked with across four different LMSs. They go the extra mile to bring you real solutions instead of just pointing you to a help article. Keep it up!

**What do you dislike about Docebo?**

My background is primarily in academic LMSs. Docebo is my first corporate LMS, and I've now been using it for 3 years. Compared against academic LMSs, Docebo is subpar for actual learning. It is a corporate learning tool: deliver trainings, get money for them. It excels at those features. Active learning? Social learning? Integrated third parties for learning? Create an effective learning environment? Craft a visually appealing visual narrative with your learning content? Nope on all fronts. IF you can do this, you'll need CSS or to buy one of their add-ons.

They do not have an actual Archiving system for users, courses, groups, or anything like that. If you want to "turn something off" or "hide it", your only choice is to tuck it into a separate Category or Branch and label it Archived. This can still convolute searches and get in the way of real systemization in the backend.

Lifecycle of Learning. What does that mean? In academia, we know that a course lives for a specific amount of time. It might last for a semester, a winterim, or a year, but even within that time frame it will have marking periods, exam times, and more. These are natural and necessary flows to learning. And then, when the course is done, it will need to be sunset and archived. In Docebo, the course is on or it is off. There is no archiving, there is no start date, there is no end date. The validity dates only tie to when the whole content is DUE but doesn't actually play into whether the course is live or archived.

There is no Recycle Bin! If you delete anything by accident, you have to roll back the entire platform to your 24 hour backup. That's simply untenable. The risk of deleting legitimate content by accident is too high. I do not allow ANY Power Users to have the permission to delete ANY content. It's a significant barrier to autonomy across teams in the platform.

The Power User feature, which allows you to give higher permissions to teams without giving them full superadmin access, MUST be better. Having to assign individual resources to each individual Power User at a time defeats the purpose of a ROLE. They have a Power User Profile feature which allows you to set the Permissions per Profile, but then the actual Resources the user has access to manage with those Permissions must be set manually and user-by-user. It's the worst roles and permissions system I've worked with across Moodle, Schoology, and Canvas.

**What problems is Docebo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

A business requirement is to deliver the same curriculum to internal and external users, while allowing both sets of users to receive distinct content. Docebo allows us to do this with the Extended Enterprise functionality. All of our Customer Education content is available to our employees, while Compliance and company-specific training is ONLY available to our employees. This reduces management/development time on curriculum having to be in two locations or have separate LMSs for each purpose.

  ### 8. Great support, but features need updating

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Pharmaceuticals | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 11, 2023

**What do you like best about Docebo?**

The customer support is quick and the account managerment team are attentitive. The Docebo Community is a great resource for ideas and problem solving.
As a learner it's fairly easy to use in respect to courses

The collaborate and share functionality is good, and there are lots of automations you can set up

**What do you dislike about Docebo?**

A lot of the features are frustrating to use.

From a learner point of view, courses displayed in catalogs just show if you are enrolled or not, where as courses displayed in channels show status (eg in progress, completed). Despite several attempts to raise this on the Community over what looks like a few years, this has still not been addressed. The search bar can be overwhemlimg because it brings back so many results due to also including the elements from within courses as well as the course itself. A simple search that could just reveal 5 courses, instead reveals the 5 courses, 20+ assets that are within the courses and then anything else which is confusing to the learner.

For admin: There is no search functionality within catalogues, or even a filter for A-Z so administrators have to sift through what could be 10+ pages of catalogues to find the one they need to edit. There is no way to set the visibility of a course. Lets say you have a catalogue on "PowerPoint" and you wanted 4/5 of the courses to be available for everyone, but the last course is only available to a specific subset, the only way of making that course invisible to everyone else it to have it show to only enrolled people and then enrol that subset, but if it's not a mandatory course, it just sits in the "uncompleted" list of the subset for all eternity.

I just find the features and administration a little clunky and not adaptable. Hence why I find the community and customer support so good because I have to use them frequently.

**What problems is Docebo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have adpated how we use Docebo and are now trying to get our learners to currate and share their own learning. We find the collaborate, sharing etc quite good for this. We're now trying to find ways of implementing some formal training via programme models with built in ILT and self paced learning and again Docebo allows us to do this

  ### 9. Easy to use as an admin, with some basic user issues

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Pharmaceuticals | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 11, 2023

**What do you like best about Docebo?**

The admin menu is clear and quite easy to find what you need. I learned to use the system fairly quickly, and I'm not technical at all.

**What do you dislike about Docebo?**

Some little functional things bug me, such as in the course library in the back end, there is no search bar or way to sort or filter all the catalogues. It always takes ages to find the catalogue you're looking for.

**What problems is Docebo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Slick and easy way to manage compliance requirements, organizing learning content into pages that are easy for users to navigate.

  ### 10. Poor first impressions

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Law Practice | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 20, 2024

**What do you like best about Docebo?**

Visually pleasing, it looks good and i like the Go1 content library

**What do you dislike about Docebo?**

No calendar integration without paying for it

**What problems is Docebo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Course administration, compliance training and individual eLearning

  ### 11. At the basic level a good learning platform, with some issues and frustrations

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Primary/Secondary Education | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 11, 2023

**What do you like best about Docebo?**

Having a ready made learning platform where we can build out courses and webinars is our primary use of the platform. It's also useful being able to automatically generate certificates on course completion, and build out catalogues of courses to group them together. Many out of the box features are also useful - course completion %ge, customisable power users etc.

**What do you dislike about Docebo?**

The trend of Docebo splitting out some of their features that incur a further cost isn't ideal - while I understand this with some products (e.g. Shape or Flow), it feels like Learning Impact and Learn Data perhaps should be part of the main product.

Some features have also not been particularly helpful for our use-case, the recent auto-tagging feature for example, which for a period of time was non-optional, and now has required us to go back and remove these tags manually now the option to turn it off exists.

**What problems is Docebo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Docebo provides us with an out-of-the-box solution where we can create online courses, and arrange webinars, for providing training to our users. This was particularly useful in the pandemic, but we were also wanting to provide more online training directly aside from this. This enables us to provide this learning experience and directly control how our users engage with our training offer.

  ### 12. Docebo

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 05, 2023

**What do you like best about Docebo?**

We love all the resources Docebo has to offer, from the Community, Docebo University to our extreamly helpful CSM.

**What do you dislike about Docebo?**

The lack of a roadmap and the inabality to duplicate learning plans. They have some great additional features, like Docebo for Teams, but its always at an additional cost.

**What problems is Docebo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Auto tracking learning and certificate expirations

  ### 13. A good looking LMS with limited functionalities

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Harvinder S. | LMS Admininstrator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 13, 2022

**What do you like best about Docebo?**

I like the UI and the way it looks. I also love the API browser and how we can utilize it to do bulk uploads.
The Course layout for e-Learning looks great and feels nicely customisable.

**What do you dislike about Docebo?**

1. I feel the notifications are quite restricted. There are very limited kind of notifications and on top of that, shortcodes are just a handful. The new fields cannot be added as shortcodes.
2. The widgets for pages are quite restricted. Some don't even have the option for HTML customization.
3. Pages have a restriction of 20 widgets.
4. There is NO dedicated resource who is skillful in app publishing at Docebo. We have been trying for so long to get our app up on the Apple store but it took a long time and we still haven't been successful in that.
5. The reports are majorly User-based, so if I want to pull a report of just courses with their fields, that is not possible.
6. The session layout for users is very confusing. The way to switch between events took a lot of getting used to by our customers and those who use it for the first time can never figure it out. The drop-down window is badly placed.

**Recommendations to others considering Docebo:**

Be sure that this LMS fits your business requirements before making a switch.

**What problems is Docebo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Docebo LMS has helped us create nice e-Learnings for our members and host them freely without a worry. On ILT front, things are great except the part that for switching between events, users have to look for the drop down menu on top.

  ### 14. Very capable system

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Moses R. | Training manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 14, 2022

**What do you like best about Docebo?**

The options, there are many options I choose from.

**What do you dislike about Docebo?**

Some of the options require more knowledge then I have and of course there are many options that add additional costs.

**What problems is Docebo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Automating my training courses and allowing me a better visual of what my students are doing.

  ### 15. Lots of great features but not well thought-out. Frustrating user experience.

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 08, 2022

**What do you like best about Docebo?**

The upside of Docebo is the sheer amount of features available. Particularly custom programming for our teams was good.

**What do you dislike about Docebo?**

Some key features like management reporting with data visualization of teams' progress appear lacking or badly executed.

**What problems is Docebo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Custom learning programs for a diverse workforce with specific learning requirements.

  ### 16. I manage 3500 employees on Docebo

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Education Management | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 21, 2021

**What do you like best about Docebo?**

i like reports function and the ability to edit

**What do you dislike about Docebo?**

there is a lot of things that could be done better, but i think that has to do with how docebo is set up and used day to day

**What problems is Docebo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

multiple learning plans for employees

  ### 17. My company elearning platform is based on docebo

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alberto M. | Technical Trainier, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 08, 2020

**What do you like best about Docebo?**

The possibility to search material and see also the linked materials

**What do you dislike about Docebo?**

It is not user friendly and to understand how it works I spent more than one month

**What problems is Docebo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The possibility to zoom in/zoom out PDF files

  ### 18. Docebo Review

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Stephanie L. | Training Coordinator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 04, 2020

**What do you like best about Docebo?**

Easy to use as an administrator. Easy to set up users and utilize reporting tools.

**What do you dislike about Docebo?**

The display is not great for our users. Not as easy for them to use the site.

**What problems is Docebo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

No problems. Easy to navigate.

**Official Response from Rob Ayre:**

> Hey Stephanie, thanks for your review. I'd like to invite you to attend our upcoming webinar all about designing a beautiful user experience with our head of design, Andrea Biraghi on November 10th. You'll get some great insight on how to create and enhance the display of your program.

  ### 19. An evolving company and platform.

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 18, 2019

**What do you like best about Docebo?**

Docebo has been a great partner over the last year since we implemented the product. Although there have been many challenges and difficulties in us adapting to their system, the entire team has been very responsive and eager to help us achieve success.

**What do you dislike about Docebo?**

The platform can feel “clunky”. While visually it looks great, there are aspects as an admin that can be streamlined.

**What problems is Docebo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have been able to customize the training experience for both our internal and external customers using their multi domain functionality.

  ### 20. not very intuitive, lots of guessing to get around

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** David L. | Health System Director, Medical Devices, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 18, 2019

**What do you like best about Docebo?**

robust, easy uploads, our Rep, and other things

**What do you dislike about Docebo?**

Mobile app is the worst, i train field reps and the mobile app is a big dissapointment old look and feel of laptop

**What problems is Docebo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Training assignments and records

  ### 21. A solid constantly evolving platform with a few issues.

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 01, 2019

**What do you like best about Docebo?**

Most features of the platform are well documented and up to date.

**What do you dislike about Docebo?**

Some features are poorly thought out and are lacking functionality.

**Recommendations to others considering Docebo:**

Make sure the features you are wanting to use work completely. Our WebEx integration and other features don’t work completely.

**What problems is Docebo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We’ve been able to make our offerings look a lot more attractive. The platform as a whole is very handsome and our clients have commented they like the look and feel.

  ### 22. Docebo & Learning Management for Nutrition Professionals

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rachael Faust H. | ISD, Higher Education, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 16, 2018

**What do you like best about Docebo?**

I like the ease of access on the back end (ie the Superadmin Dashboard) it makes customer service easy because everything is right there when you need it.

**What do you dislike about Docebo?**

I dislike the bugs that come with updates. They affect the end user which increases helpdesk volume.

**What problems is Docebo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am solving customer issues dealing with account registration, verification, and course enrollment. The benefits I have realized over time would have to be the Superadmins ability to delete and reissue certificates when users need to make changes after the account has been created. I also have found several alternative navigation features that make the customer's experience more convenient.

  ### 23. Robust, but high learning curve

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Alternative Medicine | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 13, 2017

**What do you like best about Docebo?**

I love how customizable it is, and the variety of trainings we can create.

**What do you dislike about Docebo?**

The back-end users, getting details worked out is really hard when the technical documentation doesn't match reality. They're working on a new interface which will be great, once the bugs are worked out.

**Recommendations to others considering Docebo:**

It's a great product you can grow with, but you almost have to purchase the additional support to be able to get admin settings to work.

**What problems is Docebo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Having trainings online and on-demand, allowing learners to go at their own pace. . . those are things you have to provide. And it makes learning better.
