Our office is becoming overcrowded due to having too many employees in one space currently and this allows me to locate a workspace as opposed to the cafeteria tables. In addition Appspace prevents others from taking over my reserved workspace when I need to take a break for a cup of coffee or something else. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Sometimes the google login link is all jumbled together and won't click and I have to reload and there's also no grace period if you're running late. I also despise how it cancels your reservation due to being caught in heavy traffic and additionally the recurring reservations are hard to identify within the reservation list. When I first connected the HDMI sticks to the television they booted right up which was amazing because I didn’t have to wait for assistance. I was worried that the large video files and the multiple page pdf’s were going to crash the entire system, but the Appspace system handled both with ease. Anytime I make a change to a playlist, the entire playlist starts all over again. People in the lobby can certainly tell when we switch to the new playlist – there is an obvious pause. When the television comes on the volume always goes back to 99% and I thought it was going to blow the speakers out during worship service last Tuesday. To be honest Appspace is okay since the digital signage portion of it didn’t cause me to lose my mind and although that is a pretty low bar, it cleared it. We were overwhelmed with email & slack messages and information was literally everywhere and nowhere, but now people will actually view the screen & know what’s going on. The URL’s are ugly and very nasty looking links. Additionally the file module is a mess as we cannot utilize the file module for our forms therefore we must continue to maintain a secondary drive; thus defeating the purpose of a "one stop shop". I also dislike the random spacing of the text when I’m trying to compose a page and it’s frustrating. The Integration with asp is broken and job titles do not sync properly & correcting it required an excessive amount of meetings. Lastly I wish I could collapse the Feed section on the dashboard as it currently takes up 2 columns & I am sick of viewing it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Excuse me ahead of time if I make any errors as I am typing this with one hand, however Appspace does function pretty well which was quite unexpected. The drag and drop for the lobby displays is pretty easy to use and the players did not continuously fail every 5 to 10 minute like I assumed they would. I wish the weather widget didn't take around 10 years to load (it spins for that long), it looks silly when we have clients coming in and the screens aren't ready yet. I appreciate Appspace's ability to handle device maintenance and systems integrations, allowing seamless interaction with platforms like Microsoft 365, Cisco Control Hub, Crestron, Meraki, and Brightsign. This comprehensive integration ensures all devices across the building are covered, which is highly beneficial. I find tracking user data for booking information exceptionally insightful as it helps in following trends for support and maintenance. The capacity to view IPs, firmware, and content on signage aids in troubleshooting issues effectively. The APIs and webhooks compatibility with nearly all major IoT, scheduling panels, and UC devices is impressive, ensuring users stay connected with happenings throughout the building while facilities and IT departments remain aware of environmental or networking issues. Moreover, usage reports are invaluable for identifying breakdowns in communication. The simplicity of the initial setup of Appspace, coupled with its additional takeover of signage, which was a bonus we hadn't planned for, adds more to its value. I dislike the lack of improved Microsoft 365 integration within Appspace, particularly concerning the Outlook Add-in. The current limitation means that users cannot alter their calendar view to another account to add bookings directly to their calendars. This poses a challenge, especially when admins need to book reservations on behalf of executives and add them seamlessly into the calendars. I use Appspace to do a quite a number of stuff such as manage our digital signboards and display calendars, safety updates and KPIs and also listening to announcements and events. For me the best part about Appspace is being able to edit and send updates to all the signboards from my office in seconds without having to go to the signboards myself. I find the layout and playlist arrangement of Appspace quite cumbersome and the template editor is also not flexible and I also find it frustrating to click several times to arrange the layout. Additionally, the scheduling feature is very convenient, enabling me to allocate a block of time for updates once a month rather than handling them daily. This flexibility significantly aids in managing my time better. I find Appspace incredibly valuable for managing on-campus digital signage. It allows me to effortlessly share announcements, events, weather information, and fun photos featuring our students across multiple screens on campus, including in their dorms. The platform makes it easy to connect with all 4000 students each day, which would be a challenge otherwise. I love how easy Appspace is to use, especially compared to other platforms I have experienced. The ability to log on, post a slide, and have it running on all the screens across campus in less than 5 minutes is amazing. This quick posting capability supports the need for speed when announcements must go out right away. Furthermore, as a primary user, I found the initial setup very easy to learn because it is user-friendly and doesn’t require following a detailed checklist. I find myself wishing for more flexibility with the card design, which currently feels limited. Additionally, I'd like to see the new device map feature enhanced to allow for assigning channels directly using the map. These improvements would significantly streamline our workflow. I really value how this tool allows me to visualize office layouts, and I found the implementation process to be fast.
