What do you dislike about Centreon Infra Monitoring?

The documentation is sometimes unreliable. The menus and navigation are not very intuitive. There are some display bugs (menus that remain displayed, pages that crash). It remains long and difficult to supervise things that were not designed by Centreon and therefore are not in the plugins. Some checks that take 5 minutes to configure on solutions like INM take hours on Centreon. (example: raising critical alerts based on the event ID of a Windows server). What do you dislike about Centreon Infra Monitoring?

- Limitation on Dashboard

- Jira integration is a disaster, we are facing a lot of issues with Jira Ticketing (Duplicated Tickets, System is not creating Tickets for all Alerts)

- Reporting are not always visible, a lot of difficulties of adjusting a Report.

What problems is Centreon Infra Monitoring solving and how is that benefiting you?

Before implementing Centreon, our infrastructure had no centralized monitoring solution. We were relying on manual checks, reactive troubleshooting, and fragmented logs — which made identifying and resolving issues both time-consuming and inefficient.

We selected Centreon after a thorough evaluation, and it quickly proved to be the missing piece in our operations. It provided immediate visibility into the health of our on-prem infrastructure — including servers, network devices, storage systems, and critical services.

What convinced us was Centreon’s ability to deploy rapidly, integrate easily with SNMP and custom plugins, and deliver real-time, actionable dashboards. It gave our team a clear view of the entire estate, significantly reducing blind spots and alerting us to issues before they impacted users.

With no monitoring previously in place, Centreon brought structure and confidence to our IT operations. Its intuitive interface, powerful alerting system, and extensive customization options allowed us to adapt the platform to our exact needs. The team quickly adopted it and praised how easy it was to use and extend.

Today, Centreon is the foundation of our monitoring strategy, and it’s hard to imagine operating without it. We highly recommend it to any organization looking to establish a robust monitoring framework — especially if starting from scratch. What do you like best about Centreon Infra Monitoring?

What I really like about Centreon is how it gives me one clear view of everything in the infrastructure without having to juggle multiple tools. The dashboards are easy to tailor, so I can quickly see what actually matters. Plus, the huge range of connectors makes it simple to plug in different systems, and the distributed setup scales well as the environment grows. What do you dislike about Centreon Infra Monitoring?

Honestly, the hardest part with Centreon is the setup and upgrades—they can be a bit technical and time-consuming if you don’t already have experience. Some parts of the interface also feel a little old-school compared to newer tools. Once it’s running it works really well, but getting there takes some effort. Centreon offers us a clear and comprehensive interface for monitoring our infrastructure (servers, network equipment, photocopiers, websites, etc.).
