**What do you like best about ActivTrak?**

What I like most about ActivTrak is how it gives me clear visibility into how the team is spending their time without being intrusive. It helps me spot productivity patterns and potential bottlenecks quickly, so I can address issues before they impact the operation. Plus, the reports are easy to understand and share, which makes tracking performance and coaching team members much more efficient.

**What do you dislike about ActivTrak?**

What I don’t like much about ActivTrak is that sometimes it can feel a bit too detailed or overwhelming with all the data it collects. It can take time to sift through the reports to find what really matters. Also, some team members might feel a little uneasy knowing they’re being monitored, so it takes effort to balance using it for productivity without hurting trust.

**What problems is ActivTrak solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ActivTrak helps solve the challenge of understanding how agents are using their time and where productivity might be slipping. For me, it means I can quickly identify distractions or workflow issues that slow down the team. This lets me take action to improve efficiency and keep operations on track. It also provides solid data for coaching and performance reviews, making those conversations more objective and focused. Overall, it helps me manage the team better and ensure we’re meeting our goals consistently.

  ### 2. Great Tracking, but a Cluttered UI Makes It Hard to Understand

  ### 3. Good for catching non-productive employees

**What do you like best about ActivTrak?**

ActivTrak is very detailed, showing me down to the second how long a staff was looking at a webpage or application.

**What do you dislike about ActivTrak?**

All of the tiers seem unnecessary. I feel like we paid a significant chunk of change for the basic package but are extremely limited on the available reports and detailed information like specific webpages are only available through upgrading. It's frustrating that we were able to see more information in the trial then we can now.

**What problems is ActivTrak solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have uncovered staff working too many hours and also staff visiting websites that are not work related.

**What do you like best about ActivTrak?**

The amount of customization within ActivTrak is very helpful. I especially like the custom alarms along with the presets that alert me in real time to issues that need attention.

**What do you dislike about ActivTrak?**

Sometimes the level of detail can be overwhelming. Some of the reports can be misleading, but they are constantly updating the interface to tackle these problems.

**What problems is ActivTrak solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is easy to determine which employees are the most productive on particular days and over the course of time. I like that I can see trends within my team and can work to resolve issues before they become out of control.

**What do you like best about ActivTrak?**

I like how much time you can see your usage on certain apps, websites, etc. It allows me to time management better and get an overall of how much I'm working throughout the day.

**What do you dislike about ActivTrak?**

It counts unactive time fairly short, I think under 2 minutes if you don't move your mouse and it's not enough time.

**What problems is ActivTrak solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Allowing me to see how active I am using my work computer.

  ### 6. An Eye on IT

**What do you like best about ActivTrak?**

ActivTrak has a simple to use interface and has automatically updating agents. Its dashboard provides a very helpful view into the usage statistics. Real-time blocking of forbidden sites and applications is an important security tool for us. 

**What do you dislike about ActivTrak?**

I have found it frustrating that I am unable to filter productivity by group. That is to say; As one application or site may be classified as Productive for one group of users, it is not so for another. I.e Job search site for HR, as apposed to a technician. Use of Wildcards (*) would make administration of such filters easier as well. Reporting of agent versions in Computer Aliases is inaccurate and misleading.

**What problems is ActivTrak solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ActivTrak has been invaluable is providing us with insight into our employees use and abuse of our systems and resources. Adherence to usage policies has allowed us to recognize individuals that may need retraining and guidance to improve security throughout the organization. This tool is one of the few that can help us measure real-time productivity metrics.

**What do you like best about ActivTrak?**

Being able to just log in and either look directly at any employee, or just get a quick overview using the dashboard

**What do you dislike about ActivTrak?**

the way the licensing works, if you log into the computer as a different user (like administrator for support) the user shows up in your list when we don't need to monitor that user, then we have to delete that user out of the user list.

**Recommendations to others considering ActivTrak:**

change the way to determine licenses so we have an easier time managing the user count. example is administrator, we need to login as admin for remote support...

**What problems is ActivTrak solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It ir really important for us to know if a remote user is actually working, it is the main reason we chose AT.

They have worked out some bugs but need to focus on backwards compatibility

**What do you dislike about ActivTrak?**

Deployment across multiple platforms is bothersome when the software doesn’t play nice. 

**Recommendations to others considering ActivTrak:**

There are better options for private use for monitoring children/students. Functionality across all types of Windows access would be helpful. Getting users to show up takes a decent amount of configuration and is NOT intuitive

Being able to monitor productivity of team member

The user interface is easy to brows and everything is color coded for.

Sometimes the app is very unresponsive. Maybe this is due to a bug

Data Protection is my major issue, with ActiveTrak I am aware of any issues in real time.

That it is easy to install and also that it keeps your data secure and private and that when it gets a connection it reports data privately so you can keep track on your device.

Have not found any issues that I dislike at this time we'll be able to report more as I get familiar with platform.

That I am able to keep track of data and what it is being used for as far as expenses go. In

It's a little confusing to read stats and to understand the information that is being presented to me.

It's been nice to see employee activity and screenshots to be able to determine what is wasted time.
