Alerts are great when employees visit certain sites and is helpful for management so they can see who is overworked or who can take on more. **What do you dislike about ActivTrak?** Having to contact support when uninstalling the program completly. **What problems is ActivTrak solving and how is that benefiting you?** Who is going where and when they are doing it, what files are they sharing and saving to USB. ### 2. By using this software I am all tension free now I do not have any trust issues with my employees, and together we are working for the our betterment. Previously it was very hectic to track the processes and the locations, especially when it comes to certain prolonged visits. Now it is working efficiently and provides most reliable services. At the end I would say it is an excellent employee monitoring software. **What do you dislike about ActivTrak?** It does not tell about the active working hours, I mean I do not have any idea about the amount of time spent on a certain task, though it provides information about the location. We were concerned about our employee's privacy and we did not want to use tracking software to rule our employees, we simply wanted them to be accountable. With ActivTrak, we had the perfect balance of being able to track our employees actions through out the day, without digging into their personal lives, as we can have ActivTrak disable its self outside of office hours. Ultimately we liked the fact that we could hold our employees accountable without invading their privacy. **What do you dislike about ActivTrak?** That I can not classify websites that have received less than 5 minutes of usage. I think the 5 minute threshold should be lowered, as I now have hundreds of sites that I can't classify in my database. **Recommendations to others considering ActivTrak:** Check out the trial. The trial is ultimately what sold me on the product, as I was quickly able to see it included everything that I needed to properly manage my employees both in house and remotely. It is a good tool to use. **What problems is ActivTrak solving and how is that benefiting you?** With Covid moving many of employees remote, and our average age of our employee being on the lower side, we were confident that we were receiving the full attention and work load of our employees. We did not have to second guess anyone, or try to figure out what an employee was doing with their time. This left no room for us to wonder or question employees on how they spent their time, as we always knew. ### 7. As one of the early users I have seen it go from strength to stregnth with constant updates. **What do you dislike about ActivTrak?** Windows updates and other bugs can some times stop some user machines from reporting. It is usually an easy fix and doesn't happen much these days but that is the only things. We realize the cost savings productivity provides, but a state and local government do not have the flexibility to handle mid-year increases that were not budgeted for, especially when they are a high percent increase. ActivTrak sales did offer us a multi-year payment plan so we could adjust along with a discount. Perhaps certain application is considered productive to one group but unproductive to another. If we find that a certain employee tends to finish they're work faster and have more time on their hands than others than it's easy to determine that we can give them a slightly heavier workload. Nothing really more to say here. **What do you dislike about ActivTrak?** An on-prem option for file storage would be ideal *if* that cut the price. It's pricey for what it is, especially at scale. Would like keyboard capture. **Recommendations to others considering ActivTrak:** This is a great solution if you can't implement onsite. It is expensive for what it is, but remember how much it would cost to run it internally. Do one demo on the free account and management will SALIVATE over having it. I would strongly encourage your company to formulate a policy with a lawyer and introduce the product to employees. Only thing I can say I wish they had was key logger for each user. That is to say; As one application or site may be classified as Productive for one group of users, it is not so for another. I.e Job search site for HR, as apposed to a technician. Use of Wildcards (*) would make administration of such filters easier as well.
