Implementation is currently in-process, but we see great potential to solve current work order process confusion and bring greater control to the process including visibility and analytics. Pipefy has changed the game for our marketing agency. We now handle all requests for service through Pipefy. The intake form we built has allowed our agency to be more productive than ever. We can see and be notified of incoming requests in real-time. We or our clients can set deadlines for each project. The visual "Kanban" view is a game changer for me as a team leader. I can easily see where projects stand and with filters can see what each team member's workload is. The reporting tools allow us to analyze how many projects we complete each month and sort by client and other filters. This has allowed us to provide our upper management with better reporting. Since Covid-19 broke out, our team has reduced due to retirements and departures. Without Pipefy, we could not have been able to complete MORE projects with fewer staff. I personally think nintex forms would have extended capabilities of talking to web services. The error notifications of workflows are too generic, sometimes they just say error out and failed on start. While developing forms, the labels connected to items which requires validation shows red asterick with break tag in inproper format, if we develop the form in google chrome. You can create your own step by step procedure using Microsoft power automate. You can link this to Microsoft forms, files, share points etc. and can trigger some actions on user completing a variety of different steps. This helps in automating very complex tasks. The best thing is that we do not have to worry about the code that is written behind. We just need to create the flow chart and the application takes care of the code by itself. You can start a workflow for any of the items using Microsoft power automate and seek for approval. There is even a mechanism to remind people for the pending workflow.. You can send out automated emails so that the people can understand that their actions are under consideration. This could a good platform to take some of the customer questions. Since this is still in development phase, there are some limitations on the functions of power automate and we need to develop a long flow chart than what can be done with one line. We have to be sure that the loop does not time out. By default the loop times out in 1hr. We need to make sure that the default has been changed in case we want our loop to work for days. I was not sure whether power automate would do the things that I wanted but I spent some time on the software and was able to create a flowchart which has multiple approvals along with reminder. We totally dislike like that all documentation is online. We realize that documentation changes, but it would be much more advantageous and efficient for us to be able to print out a point-in-time PDF, especially as we are trying to learn the tool.
Honestly, we find the software somewhat cumbersome to use and most of that is related to the fact that we can't print out what we need.
