Verveware is helping us bill our IDOAs, MCOs and DORS clients directly from them (The EVV System) keeping our data consistent and in one place as well as speeding up our billing by 85%.

It is also helping us keeping our caregivers stay compliant with their new learning module integration, from which our supervisors can directly enroll/unenroll caregivers in training. And soon as they finish training, their certificate shows up in Verveware automatically updating the compliance which saves our team hours of time, and also keeps data updated in real time. The biggest challenge with ClinicMind is how complex the system can be, especially when it comes to modifying or changing notes. If you don’t already know where to go in the back end, it can take some time to navigate and figure out the correct steps.

That being said, the support team does an exceptional job of bridging that gap. I can always submit a task request, and they consistently go above and beyond — offering calls, video calls, screenshots, and even recorded walkthroughs that show exactly how to make changes. A quick shout-out to people like Aziz, who has been incredibly patient and helpful throughout this process. His guidance makes the learning curve so much easier to manage.

ClinicMind is helping streamline and simplify the documentation side of our practice. InMyteam is helping me streamline the process of creating and managing Plans of Care. Honestly, nothing comes to mind. The only tiny “dislike” was getting the whole team comfortable with all the features at the start, but their customer support was so fantastic (quick responses, screen shares, and real solutions) that it turned into a non-issue. Alora is our electronic medical records software for our home health care agency. It has ease of tracking items such as signatures and staff credentials to stay up to date and compliant with CMS requirements. It has e-fax abilities to send documents needing signatures to physicians. It has easy oasis uploading and billing abilities and tracking. It takes care of our EVV requirements. The few items we have had issues with are typically resolved in reasonable time frames. There are some features we use that we wish were tailored more for our specific business however we understand that the system must work for all. What Problems Is This Solving and How Does It Benefit Me

MicroMD PM has helped streamline the day-to-day operations in my practice. Instead of juggling multiple systems for scheduling, billing, and claims, I can manage everything in one place, which saves a lot of time and reduces errors. It also makes onboarding new staff easier since the system is intuitive and doesn’t require weeks of training to get up to speed. The customization options let me adapt the software to match the way we work, so it feels like it fits our practice rather than the other way around. I'm not entirely sure... Whenever our team has had a concern or question, Phressia Support or our account manager has always resolved the issue or offered solutions we hadn't considered. Streamlining the data entry process before engaging with scheduled outpatients has made a significant difference. In the ED, our team is now able to accomplish more with fewer resources, and the data we collect is more accurate. Our teams are only required to manually enter three data elements: primary provider, insurance, and pharmacy. I find incorporating attachments into ModMed cumbersome, and embedding them directly into the chart for consultants is not as seamless as I would like. The lack of a hyperlink feature within the body of notes to link directly to corresponding photos or written impressions adds unnecessary complexity to workflow. I also feel that the area reserved for important patient details like allergies, blood thinner use, and other critical information is not prominently displayed, which could improve through a more visible interface. The absence of color-coding for different types of visits also reduces the clarity in the schedule and could enhance organization. Searching for other HISP direct mail users and their addresses isn't as intuitive as expected. It would be beneficial if ModMed could support dot phrases similar to those in Epic, allowing for more efficient shorthand note-taking. The limited functionality of native phrases in EMA, and the inability to copy or utilize phrases from others, further restricts efficiency. Lastly, the transition to using ModMed was made difficult by the lack of adequate time with experts. I use ModMed for ease of chart review, accessing information while out of the office, and quick comparisons with visual body features. It allows inserting easy phrases and notes, enhancing my dermatology practice efficiency. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

There are a couple of areas where we would welcome enhancements. The reporting system could benefit from greater flexibility and customization. More robust filtering options and easier ways to generate tailored reports would help us extract insights more efficiently. Additionally, improvements to the mobile application used by aides—particularly in terms of navigation, speed, and offline functionality—would further enhance field usability and overall productivity. The one thing we'd change/update would be the medications component. SureScripts seems to be antiquated, cumbersome and time consuming, whereas other programs and apps are much more user friendly, communicate better with pharmacies and patients. The communications process between our EHR and refill requests from pharmacies are not always as timely and accurate as we'd prefer or as intuitive as some of the other products our providers use at other facilities. We are hoping that the anticipated changes will allow us to choose which e-script app we prefer and integrate it into Compulink so that the medication reconciliation and controlled substance e-script will be faster and more effective than the current system. I use Therap as a business admin. This is the worst, most user unfriendly software I've ever had the displeasure of using. Simple tasks are frustratingly difficult, the menu is outdated and clunky. They have an entire library of "how to" videos.... Helpful right? Wrong! The search function litters your results with unrelated content that you have to sift through yourself. Also, what other platform do you use that a library of how to do simple tasks (track meds, assign staff, etc) is even necessary? Our employees hate it, I hate it, our owner hates it, but because it's the software the state "recommends" we have to use it for compliance reasons. It's also very overpriced. Because CareVoyant is so customizable, implementation took way longer than expected & we were not given a realistic timeline. We had coordinated termination of our previous EMRs & were not able to push our term dates back so we couldn't push our Go Live back as far as we needed to which caused us to go live with our 1st branch when the system was not fully configured. Due to all the extra work to configure the system, we did not have enough time to create or customize provided guides or train our staff as fully as we needed to which caused a lot of additional confusion as our key implementation team was focusing on fixing critical setup & figuring out what was a training/education issue & what was a system issue. As we ran into things that needed to be configured, we also didn't have the time to internally decide if we need it customized or if we should adjust our process. We started implementation 5 months ago, we've been live for 3 months, & are still finding & fixing configuration issues. All that being said, I do truly believe this switch was worth going through this very VERY rocky implementation, so if you need an EMR that is very customizable, I do recommend CareVoyant but give yourself longer than you think your need or that CV says you need to give your agency enough time to properly configure, test, & train before your go live.

We have had issues with support fixing incorrectly due to support assuming things & making changes without confirming or a change being made incorrectly because a setup change was only done in some areas of the system but not all. When you contact support, be very clear about what you need & if you want them to confirm understanding before they make changes. I'm our agency's IT Admin so as I'm getting more comfortable with the system settings & the steps that need completed, we're doing more changes in house & our support tickets are becoming more geared towards "how do I do this" instead of "please do this for us" which is also reducing those types of misunderstandings & issues.

CareVoyant is in the process of moving their system from the old CV Hosting/Cloud/"Back Office"/"Main Application" system into the new CV Web & CV Mobile system so the system is still very clunky & segregated which makes it not very user friendly, but they have most things moved into the CV Web/Mobile & will start working on simplifying & combining screens once everything is in the web so the user experience will be drastically improving as features are moved. Because of all the customization abilities:

*We are able to move 2 of our branches into 1 EMR under their own Facility.

*We are able to fit our unique business needs (services, billing, payroll, etc.).

Because we were able to implement 1 EMR for 2 of our 3 lines of business:

*We don't have to keep 2 patient charts for shared patients.

*Our care coordination has been streamlined & improved for all of our patients but especially for shared patients.

Because we have Offline Mode is the same as the live / Online Mode:

*Our field staff have minimal interruption in poor cellular areas in our rural community.

*Our field & office staff don't require continued education on how to uses a backup/offline version of the system for poor service areas or outages in the field or office.

While Raintree Systems has been a valuable tool for our clinic, there are a few areas that could be improved. One of the biggest drawbacks is the upcharging for new features. Some of these updates feel like basic enhancements that should be included as part of regular updates, rather than being treated as premium features that come at an additional cost. This can be frustrating, especially when the features seem essential for keeping the system up to date with current industry standards.

Another issue is the software's user interface. While functional, Raintree's design feels a bit dated—what I jokingly refer to as "Windows 95 chic." The interface isn’t as modern or streamlined as some of the newer software options available today. This can make the system feel less intuitive and harder to navigate, especially for new users who may be accustomed to more visually appealing and user-friendly systems.

Additionally, the implementation and onboarding process has been inconsistent. The support we’ve received during the onboarding phase has been minimal, and it hasn't always been clear or comprehensive. This creates a steeper learning curve for new staff, as there is no dedicated "Raintree Academy" or other structured training resources to guide users through the system. Instead, each individual company is left to develop its own training materials for every area and type of user. This approach adds unnecessary complexity to the process and can lead to confusion for new hires.

While Raintree certainly has its strengths, these downsides—particularly the extra charges for necessary features, outdated interface, and inconsistent onboarding and support—are things to consider for those looking for a more polished, modern, and user-friendly experience. Raintree Systems is solving several key business problems for us. By offering one integrated program for all departments, it streamlines our operations and reduces the need for multiple separate systems. There are not many downsides of Ensora Mental Health. The one big thing I dislike is how if you are creating notes or treatment plan or anything like that it does not really auto save.
