**What do you like best about Raintree Systems?**

We’ve been using Raintree Systems as our EMR at Circle Creek Therapy since 2021, and it’s been an invaluable tool for managing our clinic’s operations. One of the standout features is the "Follow Ups" system for billing and troubleshooting. This feature has streamlined our billing process by allowing us to easily track unpaid claims, outstanding balances, and any issues that need attention. It helps ensure nothing gets overlooked, saving us time and reducing the stress of managing billing.

The system as a whole offers a robust set of tools that make scheduling, intake, and reporting efficient. The scheduling system is flexible, the intake process is smooth, and the reporting functionality provides great insights into both patient care and clinic performance. We especially appreciate the transparency and insights the reporting provides, making it easier to track productivity and outcomes.

On top of all the great features, Raintree’s customer support is fantastic. We’ve had the pleasure of working with Carrie Myers, and her support has been outstanding. She’s always been proactive, knowledgeable, and incredibly responsive, making a huge difference when we need troubleshooting or guidance.

Overall, Raintree Systems has been a game-changer for our clinic, offering the right tools and great support to help us deliver top-notch care while staying organized and efficient.

**What do you dislike about Raintree Systems?**

While Raintree Systems has been a valuable tool for our clinic, there are a few areas that could be improved. One of the biggest drawbacks is the upcharging for new features. Some of these updates feel like basic enhancements that should be included as part of regular updates, rather than being treated as premium features that come at an additional cost. This can be frustrating, especially when the features seem essential for keeping the system up to date with current industry standards.

Another issue is the software's user interface. While functional, Raintree's design feels a bit dated—what I jokingly refer to as "Windows 95 chic." The interface isn’t as modern or streamlined as some of the newer software options available today. This can make the system feel less intuitive and harder to navigate, especially for new users who may be accustomed to more visually appealing and user-friendly systems.

Additionally, the implementation and onboarding process has been inconsistent. The support we’ve received during the onboarding phase has been minimal, and it hasn't always been clear or comprehensive. This creates a steeper learning curve for new staff, as there is no dedicated "Raintree Academy" or other structured training resources to guide users through the system. Instead, each individual company is left to develop its own training materials for every area and type of user. This approach adds unnecessary complexity to the process and can lead to confusion for new hires.

While Raintree certainly has its strengths, these downsides—particularly the extra charges for necessary features, outdated interface, and inconsistent onboarding and support—are things to consider for those looking for a more polished, modern, and user-friendly experience.

**What problems is Raintree Systems solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Raintree Systems is solving several key business problems for us. By offering one integrated program for all departments, it streamlines our operations and reduces the need for multiple separate systems. This has helped improve our tracking and billing processes, ensuring that everything from scheduling to insurance claims is handled more efficiently. On the billing side, it has been especially beneficial in helping us track our fee schedules and alerting us when we are underpaid based on our expected rates, preventing revenue loss. The ability to easily find data and run reports has been a huge benefit, allowing us to monitor clinic performance, track outcomes, and make data-driven decisions quickly and accurately. This integration has ultimately saved time, reduced errors, and improved overall productivity for our team.

**What do you like best about Raintree Systems?**

I like that the medical records print with the billing. I like that everything for each side of our company is in the file. I like the search feature to be able to do smart search for patient information and insurance information.

**What do you dislike about Raintree Systems?**

I dislike not being able to make correction to files easily. For example, we are unable to change cases without doing an amendment. I don't like that you cannot have options when printing, for example printing a ledger with just charges only and show no payments. You can't do that unless you go into settings and set-up a profile to do so. I wish when we changed insurance carriers it would allow us to delete them instead of tracking them. I also wish we were allowed to enter carriers with the same address multiple times. I also wish the social updated to insurance field when you input the carrier information. As well as a place to pull ADJ#'s for workers comp cases.

**What problems is Raintree Systems solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use the ticket system; I wish that everyone could have an email to get things resolved rather than go through a pint person in our company to reach out to RT.

**What do you like best about Raintree Systems?**

I like the ability to customize reports and view the data. So many different options and almost every report you can think of is in the system. The task dashboard is a huge asset as well.

**What do you dislike about Raintree Systems?**

While I love the reports, they can be be cumbersome to figure out to get the data you want. There are so many option but not enough info in there to get what you want.

**What problems is Raintree Systems solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I love that you can submit cases to get issues and bugs corrected. This process used to be fast and responsive, but has become almost non responsive lately. It takes a bit to get things fixed.

Our organization provides occupational, physical, feeding, and speech therapy services, and Raintree has made our documentation process seamless and consistent across all disciplines. With Raintree, we’re able to manage intake, scheduling, documentation, and billing all within a single, integrated system. The Raintree team is consistently responsive, supportive, and solution-focused, always ready to assist with any issues that arise.

**What do you dislike about Raintree Systems?**

When we need to customize features to fit the specific needs of our clinic and the unique way our business operates, we often miss out on system updates that could improve those customizations. Additionally, every new feature seems to come with an added cost, which can be challenging for a nonprofit organization. As a long-standing and loyal customer, it would be helpful to have clearer communication about updates and more consideration for organizations like ours when it comes to pricing and access to new features.

**What do you like best about Raintree Systems?**

Going from using Practice Perfect System to Raintree was an adjustment, but once I got used to the functionality for my job title, it became very easy to use. Any issues I've had, I've been able to get assistance from Raintree Support with no hesitation.  My check ins are easy, leaving notes are easy, being able to access charts, add, delete documents, using the patient wallet, scheduling as a whole, sending documents by fax, etc all easy to do and minimal issues overall.

**What do you dislike about Raintree Systems?**

For my job title, it's fine no real issues. But when helping Finance, we've had issue with posting payments, especially if we put a date of service. We've seen posting errors, charge offs with no explanation as to why, if the patient is using Vouchers sometimes that isn't processed correctly after we've done our part correctly. When Finance has been able to get help sometimes they've been helpful and other times our Finance department has had to jump through hoop to get assistance.

I can tell they are trying to make Raintree more user friendly through all parts of therapy and billing overall. While the updates haven't made a difference in my day to day work; I know the updates are beneficial to make everything smoother for all users.

**What do you like best about Raintree Systems?**

I like the ability to customize our experience for each of our entities based the unique requirements of each one.  Whether it's custom fields or special reports, everything we need is provided.  Once every thing is implemented, everything is very easy to use.  Not to mention the system handles multiple users entering large amounts of information every day.  Very stable system and we've been using it for years!

**What do you dislike about Raintree Systems?**

Only complaint is the response time from customer service if there is a problem.  Typical response time, depending on severity of the issues, ranges from a few days to a few weeks.

**What problems is Raintree Systems solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Raintree is our centralized billing system for all our medical billing entities.  It handles patient demographics, physical facilities, insurance contact information, medication pricing, and accounts receivable.  Raintree benefits our organization by housing all our information in one central location for easy processing, reporting, and security.

Billing in Raintree is easy and automated as long as the set up on the "backend" is done flawlessly, and Raintree has a great onboarding program that helps make sure that is done. It's evident that billers were consulted in the making of this program.

**What do you dislike about Raintree Systems?**

There are a lot of functions that cause overwhelm. It's great to have a lot of information and capability, but it makes it difficult for older users that are not "tech savvy."

**What problems is Raintree Systems solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Automated claims submission is wonderful. All the rules and protocols I can set up on the backend to make sure special rules are followed is the greatest thing that's ever happened in my professional life. It is overwhelming at first, but Raintree medical billing staff helped me get everything set up perfectly and run test batches to make sure everything was right before turning me loose.

**What do you like best about Raintree Systems?**

Raintree is a very intuitive EMR with many ways to customize it and make it work for your practice. The customer support is excellent, and Raintree has created spaces for user feedback and ideas that work to improve the system.

**What do you dislike about Raintree Systems?**

There is not much to dislike, but like all EMR systems, it can have its quirks. Our most significant pain point is probably the ledger and remittance settings that affect billing functions.

Raintree has helped us navigate our busy waiting area and check-in times with eCheck-in! Now parents can check-in remotely, update demographic information, pay copays and balances, and free up our front desk to help other families.

**What do you like best about Raintree Systems?**

Upgrades over the years have made processing claims easier and most issues are able to be corrected quickly. The Salesforce team is helpful and friendly.

**What do you dislike about Raintree Systems?**

The database has a very old look and feel to it. There are so many different areas of settings that are needed to get things to function properly and there can be discrepancies in the settings, causing things to not work as desired. New features come at a cost, so eventually we'll be stuck with old functionality because costs keep going up but reimbursement in this industry keep going down.

**What problems is Raintree Systems solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Confidence in remaining HIPAA compliant, due to Raintree's high standards. The integration with Waystar allows claims to bill out smoothly and receive remit files back without a lot of manual work. Helps keep the team lean without needing a lot of extra staff to handle duties for RCM.

I really appreciate that Raintree is an all-in-one solution with integrated scheduling, billing, and EMR, plus automation and Raintree Payments. The support and training, both pre- and post-implementation, have been outstanding, and our client success manager is always accessible and helpful. Rev edition has also helped us improve our collections and streamline our revenue cycle.

Depending on the additional features that we request the turnaround time for training can take a bit.

Better patient access through patient engagement. Currently adding campaigns and surveys to our process to help with patient engagement.

This is a very detail-oriented system. It understands the challenges we encounter in running therapy practices and is always working to find solutions.

There isn't much to mention, but as with any new system implementation, there are always some issues that come up here and there.

I am always looking for up-to-date tech solutions that can help increase productivity while also reducing labor costs and saving time. Staying current with the latest technology is important to me because it allows for more efficient workflows and helps streamline tasks.

RT is super easy to use and easy to understand. I use this product everyday and am very happy with the updates.  I am a Biller and post our charges, i feel that it is easier than other systems that i have used in the past.

**What do you dislike about Raintree Systems?**

There are times that i have to manually take care of a patients Ledger myself because the system did not understand an EFT that was uploaded, but it's easy to find and take care of easily.

Having used several other EMR systems, I remain impressed by the new features they introduce and how swiftly we are able to integrate them into our business.

I find it frustrating that not every section includes a hot key. Hot keys really make things easier for me and help me navigate quickly between different screens.

**What do you like best about Raintree Systems?**

What I love about Raintree is the way that there are multiple ways to complete one thing such as scheduling, opening a daily note, accessing patient records, etc. Raintree help is also very easily accessible and quick to respond to help you figure something out or resolve an issue. We utilize Raintree everyday and I feel that the abbreviation features also help documentation efficiency greatly.

**What do you dislike about Raintree Systems?**

I wish we had more access of editing the plan of care dates (start date) and that task completion would not force daily notes to reevaluations.

**What problems is Raintree Systems solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I feel that Raintree helps us not schedule or see patient outside of authorization or visits allotted.

It is a comprehensive system, covering all areas that clinics need. There are sections to track all areas of a clinics needs

It seems that many settings are extremely complex and not ultra user friendly

**What problems is Raintree Systems solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The denials being automatically written off, and being able to turn that feature off was huge.

**What do you like best about Raintree Systems?**

It is less expensive than some systems.  It gives everyone in the office something to complain about every day.

**What do you dislike about Raintree Systems?**

User functionality is not intuitive.  Changing anything takes dozens of steps.  Unless you are a computer programer you won't be able to update templates. 

When you call support, usually the person on the phone can't help with anything other than a password reset.  Numerous times there is NO ONE in the organization that can help make the changes or setup anything. 

Refuse to provide training or help because they don't have anyone that can help.

Account managers never respond.  System integrations don't work.

If you have used other EMRs/PMs this one will not be easy to use.

It makes more problems than solves them.  Currently working to implement a different platform.

Raintree has made our lives easier in the office.  Their billing and report platform is one of the best.  We've been using it for over 20 years.

We haven't encountered any problems with Raintree

We can save our reports and bills in the system with no complaints. Easy to track billing and patients.

**What do you like best about Raintree Systems?**

From implementation to support the Raintree teams are diligent and professional. I like their team commitment to researching ways to utilize the EMR Plugins and configurations to meet needs. Our CSM is extremely helpful and gathers the resources needed to help us understand and implement features.

**What do you dislike about Raintree Systems?**

The custom services and subscription package process is cumbersome and takes a lot of time to manage. There's got to be a better way! We have been waiting a long time for the standard yellowfin dashboards. We are at a standstill while we wait for this integration.

**What problems is Raintree Systems solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With our entire pediatric division on Raintree we are now able to align our processes and clinical requirements. As we configure features and document best practices within Raintree we can train all of operations and monitor the success of our direction. Utilizing Raintree for RCM claims cleanup and processing has been extremely beneficial and we will now be realizing revenue improvements. Once staff is trained we are finding that Raintree is user-friendly and there is very little issues reported or need for ongoing support. Our internal ticket count is very low so we our able to focus on enhancement and feature implementation rather than support issues.

I have owned Raintree for over 10 years.  I chose Raintree due to the flexibility of the system as I have multiple systems/sources that I use for report writing.  Raintree facilitated custom templates for us to use which made the assessment process easier for our practice.

**What do you dislike about Raintree Systems?**

Sometimes I do not get an answer on a case for over a week.  I have to contact support to get updates, and they have to escalate the problem to engineers.

**What problems is Raintree Systems solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Raintree has been instrumental in our billing practice.  Speech therapy/billing is complicated (primary/secondary payor) have different interpretations for coding.  Raintree helped to create primary/secondary billing filters so that errors are not made.

Rain Tree is helpful with putting in Insurance.  It is very easy to learn. Scheduling is very easy.  I also like at the bottom of the page it shows all the patients information, that way you dont have to get into the chart to see everything.  I like the way we can have different colors for different Insurances.  This is very helpfull to me.

I dont like that it will not tell me if a patient is already in the system.  It needs to tells us if there is a patient in the system with the same birthday and let us decide if it is the same person.  I also would like it to show me only my patients went i am looking for a patient to schedule, Instead of looking thru all of the patient in the corporation.

I had problem of checking Patients ins visit limits.  Now they are on the same page with the appointment. It also is helpful that i can see the patient info like the Phone number and date of birth on the same page as the schedule.
