Vatix is a cloud platform for health and safety, quality, risk and compliance management, used by organisations from a few hundred employees to tens of thousands, as well as smaller businesses in higher-risk or regulated industries. EHS, quality, governance and operations teams use it to capture what happens on the front line, route it to the right people, track follow-up to completion and report on the results. The platform combines incident and event reporting, corrective actions, audits and inspections, document management, organisational registers and analytics in one system, with an optional BS 8484:2022 accredited lone worker safety service.
More than 800 organisations use Vatix, including Intel, Siemens, the NHS, the University of Oxford and Securitas, across manufacturing, healthcare, social care, housing, education and the public sector.
What Vatix does
Events: Report incidents, near-misses, hazards, observations, complaints and safeguarding concerns from the mobile app, web app, public QR codes or shareable links, with offline capture through a Progressive Web App. Reporters do not need a licence and anonymous reporting can be enabled. Assignment rules add the right people as collaborators based on site, type, severity or any custom field, and route each event into a configurable follow-up pipeline with stages, guidance and stage-specific fields.
Actions: Every finding becomes a tracked task with an owner, due date and status, consolidated into one to-do view across the platform. A task can be assigned without exposing the underlying record, which matters for sensitive investigations.
Audits and inspections: Build templates, schedule recurring audits against sites and auditors, complete them on iOS and Android phones and tablets with photo evidence, score the results and raise corrective actions from findings. Scoring supports comparison across sites and over time.
Documents: Author policies, procedures, risk assessments, method statements and toolbox talks in a rich text editor with real-time co-editing, AI-assisted drafting, automatic version history, review scheduling and purpose-built components such as structured risk assessments. Read and Understood distribution records who acknowledged which version and when, with scroll-through enforcement, including external recipients such as contractors.
Sites, Assets and Contacts: Model your organisation and link every event, audit, action and document to the location, equipment or person it relates to, giving a complete history for any site or asset.
Analytics: Self-service dashboards with 40+ chart types, filtering, drill-down, scheduled PDF delivery and an AI-assisted chart builder. Every field is reportable, including custom fields and form responses.
Lone worker safety: The SafePro GPS device and lone worker app provide SOS alerts, fall detection, timed welfare check-ins and location tracking, monitored 24/7 by an Alarm Receiving Centre and managed in the same platform.
Built for mid-market and enterprise
Vatix is designed for organisations with hundreds to tens of thousands of employees, where processes, terminology and escalation paths are already established and the platform needs to follow them rather than impose a template. An Object Manager lets customers add custom fields, build layouts and define workflows without development work. Granular permissions control visibility by team, site, event type and sensitivity level. Customers build their own dashboards, and every module shares one data model, so an audit finding becomes an action, links to a site and appears alongside event trends with no integration work. The same configurability suits smaller organisations in regulated or higher-risk sectors, such as care providers, nurseries, housing associations and contractors, that need to evidence compliance without a large administrative team.
For IT and security teams, Vatix provides SAML single sign-on, SCIM provisioning, a REST API, a data warehouse connector for Power BI, Looker and Tableau, and custom integrations. Vatix is ISO 27001 certified, undergoes annual independent penetration testing, and publishes its security and compliance documentation at trust.vatix.com.
