**What do you like best about HSI?**

I like that HSI consolidates our entire safety program into one place, making everything easier to manage. It's fully customizable, which is a big plus for us. I appreciate that it provides a ton of data on the back end and allows us to create a dashboard based on that data. It's also great that HSI creates our OSHA 300 log, which is really nice. I love how it turns all of our reports and checklists into an easy-to-read dashboard. The initial setup has been great so far.

**What do you dislike about HSI?**

I wish there was a way to create separate checklists and forms for specific locations to avoid the clutter. It’d be nice to set permissions based on locations and not an all.

**What problems is HSI solving and how is that benefiting you?**

HSI consolidates our entire safety program in one place, offers full customization, provides a lot of data on the backend, and creates easy-to-read dashboards and OSHA 300 logs.

**What do you like best about HSI?**

I use HSI for safety training and managing e-learning content, supporting onboarding with structured training modules for new employees, and ensuring compliance across my team. I like how HSI provides a centralized system and keeps training records accurate, reducing manual tracking. I value that this feature saves me a lot of time because all records are consistent and everything is in one place, ensuring no required training is missed or duplicated. The platform also made the initial setup relatively easy with its helpful instructions to guide the process.

The learning curve can be a bit steep for new users. It could use more customization options. Also, it could be more responsive and faster in certain areas, like layout and display preferences. More flexibility in customizing training paths, filtering, and data grouping options would be helpful.

I really value the course library because it provides a wide range of useful training materials that are easy to access anytime. Using HSI alongside other tools for work is smooth. My team moved to HSI after using a different system, and it has been helpful for organizing training and improving accessibility. The setup process was simple and easy to follow, and I was able to get started with HSI without any major issues. I would rate HSI 9 out of 10 because the platform is easy to use.

**What do you like best about HSI?**

I use HSI for CPR, first aid, and healthcare compliance training. The platform makes it easy to assign certifications and track expiration dates, ensuring continuous compliance. HSI solves the visibility issue around training progress. Before, I didn’t have a clear view of who had completed required courses; now I can quickly see completion status and follow up when needed. I appreciate the flexibility of online training, as employees can complete courses at their convenience, which improves completion rates and overall engagement. The modern interface and centralized dashboard made transitioning from our older, clunky platform worthwhile. The platform is very self-explanatory, and most of the setup steps were clear, allowing me to navigate and configure the system without needing extensive help. I would rate it an 8 out of 10 because it's easy to use and reliable.

Some courses feel slightly longer than necessary. Breaking certain modules into shorter segments could improve engagement and completion rates.

**What do you like best about HSI?**

What I like most about HSI is that it gives me a modern approach to organizing our organizational risk management process, while offering OSHA-standard training to employees. The fact that it is scalable to fit our particular organization was great. For instance, our Behavioral Health section was going through CARF accreditation and the inspector told me how impressed she was with this system. However, she questioned how it could navigate "Medication Errors" because they were not specifically listed up front. I emphasized that finding root cause was the goal and we were more than set to accomplish that. Also, I noted the reporting process of the standard employee, and that we addressed complexities in the investigation process. I then showed her an incident report that was scaled particularly for a Bloodborne Pathogen exposure. It was automated and condition-based. She was impressed.

**What do you dislike about HSI?**

I do not like using the word dislike here. What's been inconvenient are version changes of the interface. For accreditation, we want to show consistent data and processes. One instance, we had an organizational process where we used comments to show each safety committee members involvement in the incident investigation. When the version changed, the comment section went away, which forced us to come up with a new organizational process for showing committee involvement. Ultimately, it worked out better, because we contacted the support team and created a scalable workflow for committee members.

**What problems is HSI solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our major issues were antiquated systems and processes, stovepiping, and lack of continuity. We built risk management policy, procedure, and process directly into our scalable HSI platform.

The customer service is what makes them exceptional. I was fortunate to utilize Safety Skills at a previous company, then they were bought by HSI and I brought them on as a vendor with my new company. I was able to keep the same customer service rep Chevis who is exceptional.

I have not found anything so far. My transition was seamless.

They provide a wide variety of compliance and safety courses that covers every aspect that I need in the grocery retail industry.

SafetySkills has a comprehensive catalog of training courses that meet all of our training needs. We were looking for something that would integrate with our Paylocity LMS and SafetySkills integrated seamlessly. The trainings are well done and concise.

**What do you dislike about HSI?**

So far, there's nothing that I dislike about SafetySkills. Everything has been very positive and worked exactly as they said it would. The course catalog can be a little overwhelming but that's the only negative I might have.

**What problems is HSI solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SafetySkills is solving our required annual training and helping us track ongoing training for both current employees as well as new hires. We've been able to streamline and automate the process which is saving us time tracking and keeping up with all the necessary trainings.

DoneSafe is customisable from the ground up, meaning you dont have to change how you work to match the software and standard modules, you get to create your system to suit you.

**What do you dislike about HSI?**

While the front end is really user friendly and simplistic for the end user, the background module configuration for the technical admin is complex with a lot of learning required.

**Recommendations to others considering HSI:**

Know what you want to achieve with the software before you start, be ambitious and push the boundries, DoneSafe love a challenge!

**What problems is HSI solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We were able to absorb 4 different pieces of software with DoneSafe due to the customisation of modules.
Moving staff to one system is a challenge but DoneSafe keeps all screens with a similar format in terms of operation so it is easier for the end user to get the hang of it.

We have taken on the challenge with DoneSafes support, to build our own custom module so we can take our ships logs digital, but i a way that suits us.

Intuitive and simplistic. Ease of alterations. Smart questions based on specific workflow needs. Customizable to match our company colors. look and feel.

**What do you dislike about HSI?**

Some of the additional apps available can be limited in functionality when requiring advanced processes from the core offerings of the platform. This is a minor issue though, and the core components are more than adequate to address a workplace safety function in full.

**Recommendations to others considering HSI:**

Easily one of the most complete workplace safety tools on the market, but completely customisable to a multitude of business disciplines, providing a single-source solution.

**What problems is HSI solving and how is that benefiting you?**

A global consistent approach to Workplace Safety, replacing a multitude of various systems forms and processes. Increased simplicity and user interaction with workplace safety, and a core foundation for improving our safety culture. We are also addressing other needs in one central location such as our subcontractor management, flexible working arrangements, and ergonomics assessment modules. This continues to be enforced through ongoing implementation.

**What do you like best about HSI?**

We have definitely chosen the right system as it's easy to use for frontline staff, dashboards are great and well received by managers and ease of admin to change questions, checklists, automations, dashboards and reports. There are always upgrades and new features that are being improved. I've shown a few different companies our version of the system and they are impressed.

**What do you dislike about HSI?**

Little things like having links to a record in the reporting section would make things easier, being able to put dashboards in alphabetical order or having filters on dashboards or reports for everyone to be able to use. Responses from the customer hub can sometimes take a while. We often contact Glenn to help up as we have no communication from our account manager, it would be great to have quarterly catch ups with them to find out about new features and ask any questions.

**Recommendations to others considering HSI:**

Great system, easy to use, roll out one module at a time to your business.

**What problems is HSI solving and how is that benefiting you?**

More accountability of managers in operational areas, visibility of licenses/qualifications, incident/hazard sharing between business units, covid module is great, real time dashboards for managers to have visibility of their areas, reduction in paper forms, better action tracking, better compliance, access straight away for new businesses acquired.

**What do you like best about HSI?**

As our business has grown, and the appetite for digital capture and storage of data has increased, DoneSafe has been able to address almost all needs of our stakeholders. The problems we are solving a varied and significant, DoneSafe has been a fantastic addition to our software suite and allowed us to save on technology costs.

**What do you dislike about HSI?**

Email notification format is poor and can be confusing for recipients. Permissions management also needs improving - there is no way to allow administration of single modules only, and those who can access reporting can view all data across all modules. Module change requests and the implementation process was difficult and stressful. Recommend working with consultants or hiring someone with DoneSafe administration and back-end experience should you wish to use DoneSafe to its potential, however this may have improved since our implementation in 2019.

**Recommendations to others considering HSI:**

While marketed as a safety management solution, which it does well, consider if other bespoke technology databases could be brought across into DoneSafe instead. Allowing employees to work out of one solution will reduce the burden on IT teams and confusion about 'which program does what'. 

Unlike other programs I've worked with, DoneSafe exposes the backend to administrators allowing in-house customisations that facilitate ongoing, rapid continuous improvement.

Training and employee files including performance management, contractor management, incident/hazard management, non-conformance management, electronic meetings capture, site inspections, equipment and maintenance register and more. Staff appreciate being able to find most of what they require in one place.

As the system admin, I'm able to modify forms, checklists and change automation like notifications. The integrated action management module is helpful.

The mobile app doesn't cover the desktop version capabilities and features.
The induction/online learning module is not effective as the other online platforms in the market.

It would be absolutely helpful for any companies that need to manage the HSE process especially for those who have site activities and it saves energy and time to manage the site WHS records with great automation to receive notification emails on actions, reporting incidents, expiry notifications on qualification and equipment, etc.

Saving onsite workers/supervisors time in completion of the site safety and environmental records like Prestart and Toolbox talks, audits and inspections, etc.
Managing actions and communication via the notification emails on the automation.

What I like best about Donesafe is its usability and ease of access. It is straightforward for me to teach other staff how to use the system, and we have had minimal trouble with staff accessing it so far.

**What do you dislike about HSI?**

The only thing I dislike about Donesafe is the time it will occasionally take for the system administrators to process requests. This issue has been minor and has been resolved promptly when followed up.

The company I work for uses Donesafe to create forms and checklists for our staff out on the road to complete. Donesafe has been beneficial in keeping track of specific documents and has improved our incident and hazard reporting process making this process more streamlined and easy to use.

**What do you like best about HSI?**

With a predominantly young workforce, we needed a program that would motivate our users to want to use it.  Donesafe more than achieved this.  In the 12 months pre-Donesafe we recorded 4,500 safety and security related incidents across the business, however in the 12 months post the introduction of Donesafe this had increased to 19,000! This greatly improved our visibility of hazards and risks in our business and has enabled us to better prioritise our improvement initiatives.

**What do you dislike about HSI?**

There aren't many concerns as Donesafe are always innovating and improving and are very responsive to the needs of its users.  If there is one thing, it is limited ability to filter and/or sort some on-screen  reports.

**Recommendations to others considering HSI:**

You cant go wrong.  Donesafe are easily one of teh best service providers I have dealt with in my many years in Health and Safety.  I can't recommend them more highly.

Improved  and live notifications and updates to key stakeholders; ability to more quickly respond and manage incidents and events; quantifiable data to plan improvement programs; monitor the quality and completion of Corrective Actions.

Why are you facing this problem? Not all Donesafe customers wish to use the app infact around 70% of our customers request web-based only access for employees. The functionality of the app is optional and requires one additional step for set up. This is super quick to complete, notify the team and we can action this.

Helpful in maintaining the incident reports and tracking them so that they can be minimized in future. The application is fantastic and supported on most of the devices, in addition to this the support team is very friendly and fast. you can manage unplanned incidents, any potential safety hazards for the employees, manage environment safety and manage all your certifications required by the authorities. Deliver training materials and areas for your team to keep an eye out for.I will definitely (100%) recommend Done-safe to everyone having double thoughts and or planning to buy this facility for their business.

We save all the incidents and hazards reports happening within the organization and manage them for later reviewing and resolving purposes. Determining potential risks that may impact employees or the environment, reporting any unplanned events that have the potential to cause accidents or near misses. Identifing work hazards by job, location, and type of work and comparing them with the similar users. In addition to this we use Donesafe to comply with regulation such as Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA).

Donesafe is a truly flexible platform that allows you to almost build anything you want. You can customise almost any part of the system and set up all kinds of triggers and automations as well. If you want a system that can fit to your needs rather than you having to change your processes then Donesafe is for you.

They are already in the process of fixing or expanding capability on things I have raised in the past, they are always developing a better system.

**What do you like best about HSI?**

The software is exceptional but the support team are just as exceptional. Nothing has been to much trouble for Glen, Louise, Jason and Clive. We have had so much support and Monica our project lead is a true Donesafe magician. Monica has done a fantastic job in making our user interface reflect us and our needs at Team Baw Baw!

**What do you dislike about HSI?**

Nothing. We have had the ability to fully customise the out of the box software package to our needs. This is not something other providers are so keen on doing. It has our risk matrix, our language and mirrors our hard copy forms and templates.

**Recommendations to others considering HSI:**

Look at all options before you buy. Donesafe ticks all our boxes.

What ever we can! This system is allowing us to link our health and safety frameworks with our operational processes out in the community were we work.

Simple and efficient user interface. I was also amazed by the incredible response times and how simple the overall integration of this product was.

The price is low and affordable compares to other. The system is very simple but also very board  configurable.

The system too wise, we have to contact Donesafe for the instruction.
