**What do you like best about Simpro?**

I like how everything really is at your finger tips. Starting with the quote to the completed jobs.

**What do you dislike about Simpro?**

I dislike the logs. I wish it would tell me in what was done during that time stamp, as well as more in the parts catalog.

**What problems is Simpro solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is helping to keep the history of the jobs and keeping up as paperless as possible.

**What do you like best about Simpro?**

Simpro is most helpful for scheduling and tracking works aswell as engineers, Even to the minor things like chaging dates/asset details mean we can provide the best customer service to clients.

**What do you dislike about Simpro?**

It is time consumuing when you can only have one person edit a job at a time and i see why it is in place but it would be helpful if two could edit at the same time.

**What problems is Simpro solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is helping solve time tracking for the duration an engineer is on site which means we can cost effectively and review engineers based on facts that simpro holds.

They have listened to concerns and improved immensely! WE LOVE Simpro now!

The Mobile APP has been clunky at times, but once again - over the last 5 years they have improved the APP to work far more effectively.

They are in general making the whole systemwork more semlessly for users

The price point.  There is nothing I like about this program other than it is cheap.  I was hopeful that it would help our company but it seams that the competition has passed it by.

Scheduling, Sales Management, Customer-facing, No ability to track employees, flat rate pricing integration, and reporting.

Sim pro creates more problems than it solves.

Simpro, the way they defined the diverisifed service towords the devleopment of overall organization was tremendous.
They helped us in win more jobs and , channelized  the inventory to minimize cost and targetted towards profit zone.

Overall simpro support was unremarkable , I would like to suggest need more support towards the improving the cashflow and lean management aspects. These aspects we used the service not up to the mark

The most helpful factor of simPRO is the easy of tracking jobs.

**What do you dislike about Simpro?**

There are some basic functions missing to make scheduling jobs easier, like being able to select multiple jobs at once and schedule them to a technician.

**What problems is Simpro solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Simpro solves the issue of jobs not being complete. Simpro keeps track of the jobs and make my job and works supervisor easier. Jobs have now stopped being forgotten about and everything gets complete on time and on schedule.

When we researched a lot of CRMs, simPRO seemed to provide the best value for our needs.  Also, it is constantly evolving and improving.

We can't easily apply a deposit payment to a service job.

simPRO put our schedule, customer database, catalog, invoicing, and payment system all in an easily accessible platform.

A one stop app for all your business needs including procurement, stock management, estimating, job management, asset management and invoice management.

**What do you dislike about Simpro?**

The support is very slow to respond. Sometimes taking upto a month so you have to rely on getting advice from other users on the Facebook group. The support has gotten worse this year.

Connecting all departments in one place, stock control, purchasing, estimating, project management, invoicing and reporting

Jobs are not easy to edit without changing contract value. Catalog does not update till after invoice is recieved.

It is very difficult to set up. Pay a consultant to help with the setup.

Allows to track all costs on projects easily. Our client base can now be easily quoted on a daily basis.

**What do you dislike about Simpro?**

It is confusing how to use some features. It doesn't integrate with other apps. You can't customize any report. Initial training was very poor, they really didn't help implement the proper use of the tools on Simpro.

We maintain control of projects from lead to completion, managing costs, and everything on the same app.

I like the way you raise projects / quotes based on sites rather than individual areas.

**What do you dislike about Simpro?**

It would be good to have a bit more functionality around quoting for example some tenders may go out to more than one client and would be great to have some kind of entry system for follow ups. Currently i'm using a separate database to keep track of my sale enquiries.

You can now attach photos to the actual job instead of adding them to attachment.

Sometimes Sim pro will crash without warning, and if you have no signal, it's very hard to use and might end up duplicating photos.

We like that it is user friendly, that when you do a PO it automatically allocates the expense to the job with a mark-up and you can track jobs easily

Downside for us, is that the timesheets don't go across to our Payroll system

Their have been many improvements in simpro since we started nearly 2 years ago.  The ease of using the software, it has reduced the amount of paperwork.

Simpro is an excellent product to use as a job management system in our electrical business. It is able to perform many tasks within the product and fulfills many needs of our business. The project management and stock management are excellent features that have helped make our business run smoother.

**What do you dislike about Simpro?**

SImpro has a lot of features that are designed to service a variety of industries. Although this is very helpful, it also makes the platform feel clunky and simple features can be overlooked. Furthermore, the pricing structure could be improved. Currently, they have a paid license for either the mobile edition or the enterprise edition. I would suggest creating a third license between the mobile and enterprise license for workers who need access to some parts of Simpro but not the entire enterprise edition. For example, instead of having to pay 600% of the mobile price to give them access to additional information, perhaps there could be a middle price.

**What problems is Simpro solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Simpro is great at helping our business quote, record jobs, invoice and receive payment for our work. It has a large range of features that can handle most aspects of the business; however workarounds may be needed to utilize these features in the unique environment of individual businesses.

**What do you like best about Simpro?**

Simpro has easy to navigate and well laid out menu's. Software is modern. I like the ease of putting costs together when quoting as it is simply a few clicks and you have the parts/labour in the job and can update prices easily. Breakdown of quotes and jobs into cost centres makes it easier to determine where the costs are and makes it easier for other staff to understand how costs and labour are broken down. Duplicating quotes and jobs is helpful and time saving. Stock tracking is good compared to our seemingly non-existent previous system, makes it easier to locate items in the factory.

**What do you dislike about Simpro?**

Search function can be a bit difficult to use at times. If the item you are searching for is not input in the correct order then it won't return a result. EG if I an item is on our system as '50mm copper bend' and I search 'copper bend 50mm' then the system will not find it. Some form generation can also be a bit more time consuming than required to correct. If I have multiple cost centres for instance with a description on the main summary screen then the quote for instance will generate the pricing breakdown for each cost centre with the main summary description repeated for each cost centre.

**What problems is Simpro solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our stock was difficult to track and find in our factory before Simpro. Our method of doing this was inaccurate as we didn't have everything listed and locations logged. Simpro allows us to easily input locations, view stock levels and see if we have the item on order quite easily. We are now able to keep on top of our stock levels, see where stock is being allocated to and find it in the factory more quickly.

It can be slightly cumbersome to use initially as there are so many options and areas which need to be prefilled correctly for it to work effectively, but after the initial learning curve, it is a very useful tool.

When selecting a group of engineers to schedule, it would be great to be able to be able to tick and select individulas within a group too. Especially as two man teams are not always the same.
Inconsistancy with account manager/communication of changes isn't great.

Being able to get engineers information to them remotely. Tracking job progress and invoicing etc.

**What do you like best about Simpro?**

The 2 main benefits for us are the recurring job function and the cost centre modules

**What do you dislike about Simpro?**

The functionality of the whole platform, there are far too many clicks for each process. Very time-consuming.
The tech support services are very slow and often need follow up - sometimes weeks later to get an answer to a query.
The inability to bulk edit/delete cost centres. (refer to the first point above)
The invoicing & statement emails never default to the correct client or email contact. Every email has to be managed and sent individually 
System emails from simPRO often go to spam for clients - meaning lots of follow up and repeat work to resend and check receipt
There are very limited category options for purchase orders. simPRO only offers ‘Stock’ or ‘Job’ as options and doesn't allow for purchases such as Small Plant & Equipment, Repairs & Maintenance etc etc.
the 'Submit an idea' platform - it's a joke. Some obvious and elementary upgrade suggestions can sit in the waiting room for years before they are actioned. The whole support backup side of simPRO is behind the 8 ball which is sad because they are constantly advertising the platform to new clients but can't really satisfy the ones they have already got.
The BI reporting  - you need to be BI expert to use it, it's dysfunctional for most people
The quote forms builder/plugins and general layout options. Have tried many times but it's a disaster. You spend hours editing a quote - when the client wants a revised quote the original one can't be edited - you have to start all over again..!
Their credit card payments provider - it's as clunky and as difficult to set up as you could imagine along with extremely unreasonable demands for personal information - so I gave up.  A simpler option such as stripe integration should be investigated.

**What problems is Simpro solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Automated notifications for clients are a real winner for us - job reminders etc.
Recurring job management is a breeze with simpro
The pricing / prebuild function is very good and saves time.

Please reach out to local support so that they may assist you with details on creating non-inventory Purchase Orders, configuration settings for email to avoid delivery issues and editing existing quotes and look at why you’re unable to edit quotes.  In regards to development, with over 150,000 simPRO users, the Ideas Portal receives many suggestions every day.  We can reassure you though that every idea submitted is reviewed by the simPRO team. Many factors go into prioritisation of development including how many users will benefit from the feature, and the knock on effects it may cause to others. simPRO has a development team dedicated solely to acting on these suggestions and in the last year alone, the team has been able to resolve over 120 ideas. Currently most of the "Top Ideas" on the ideas portal are in progress or committed to, and we look forward to sharing these features with the community soon. We acknowledge that the application process for the payment provider we use where Square is not available can be challenging. We are investigating options available to New Zealand to deliver the same streamlined experience that we are able to provide to users in other regions. We hope to continue to hear feedback from you in the future so that we are able to shape our software to fit your needs. In the meantime, we have contacted our support team to get in contact with you, and hopefully resolve any issues you are having!

With simpro I love the fact that you can see your stock and also see stock of yourself and others it's also very easy to go back and change mistakes that may have been made in notes or on a job

**What do you dislike about Simpro?**

Me and my colleagues have a real issue with simpro deleting hours and this always happens we have to put the hours in around 4 times each time before simpro want to save it this happens on mobile data and aswell on a string WiFi connection

**What problems is Simpro solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Simpro is solving the hassle of trying to call people and find out details about the task at hand as one person can put all the details on the job and it is easy to find out what's going on
