What do you like best about Simpro?

As someone who uses simPRO in all areas of the product and helped implement it to our company, it is overall one of the best I have ever used in my 10+ years of working here. I love that everything is categorized so well and the search box in the top right hand corner is my favorite thing. I use it multiple times per day to look for things such as PO's, finding customers by addresses, etc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Simpro?

The log needs to have more detailed as far as dollar amounts as to what was changed. Cost centers need to be unlocked when necessary even if already invoiced. Suggestion would be to have a supervisor override.

What do you like best about Simpro?

I really liked this job management software. It make my job easy for doing take offs and saves lots of time. I loved the feature of auto saving. We can directly send quatation email from SimPRO it self. User interface is very easy to learn and customer support of SimPRO is very good. We are one email away from any information or support. What do you dislike about Simpro?

To be frank, I really do not have any dislikes about SimPRO. I think you can decrease the subcription price a bit to help more people. What do you like best about Simpro?

SimPRO is just a well rounded product, not focusing on one trade or customer type means everything is there for us to some degree. Where there are gaps these are filled with a reasonable API and a few useful intergrations. The support pathways and support persons are awesome, they are responsive and generally successfully solve your issues. SimPRO is well structured to ensure you follow the path from customer engagement through to billing but still provides the wiggle room for those 'special' cases that need to step off the pathway.

We haveimplemented a single company which we changed to multicompany and added another single company and the whole process for us was reasonably pain free. We had a great consultant. I am using SimPRO daily either at the front end or via API and it just works, day in day out. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Simpro?

The API forum and responses do not come up to the high standards set by the rest of the support pathways, If these are the developers then they need some customer service front men/ladies or training. The whole submit an idea "Ideas Portal" is full of great ideas and whilst I understand you have a grand vision some enhancements suggested would take the product to the next level. There are a lot of suggestions andit would be good to see them grouped and merged.

Reporting data does not replicate early enough to make any reporting useful for daily reports and the lack of a yesterday filter (probably not there because of replication) is not at all user friendly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Simpro?

Simpro gives you full insight into your business operations. You can track all jobs, profit and losses, price list discrepancies, employee productivity, Workflows and the list goes on. Without investing in a ERP system you will never be able to draw down to see where your business wins and loses money.

Simpro was the best software we looked at in terms of value for money. Its very user friendly and customisable to your business. It allows us to automatically send out monthly customer statements and setup an overdue invoice reminder system that works seemlessly on autopilot which was something we previously had to pay an administrator to do.

We are able to better plan for the future of our business with weekly Work in progress reports and project tracking.

We use Simpro to report on the micro side of our business (i.e. where did Joe spend 15 hours this week and what job was that allocated agaist.

We use Myob to report on the Macro side of our business (i.e. Actual gross margin achieved, net profit and loss, overhead analysis etc) and Simpro integrates directly into myob. It pushes across our sales invoices and supplier purchases without the need for any double handling. The only thing that gets entered into MYOB manually now is payroll and credit card purchases. What do you dislike about Simpro?

It is expensive, and you feel a bit vulnerable to future price rises as once you are in it is very hard to get out.

It logs us out very quickly sometimes,,, so if you are working on a big quote if your not actively hitting save then it can log you out of your work.. We have tried to fix this but nobody at Simpro has been able to help Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Simpro?

I like that it is easy to manage all of the jobs, invoices and customers in one spot. There is a good tool for logging communication with customers as well. I also like that there is a chat option to speak with someone from Simpro. It is much better than sitting on hold forever! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Simpro?

I don't like that once you have done something it's done. If you merge customers by mistake, you can't undo it. If you create an invoice, you can't correct it. You need to delete the invoice and redo it. If something is deleted, there is no undo period. What do you like best about Simpro?

Simpro helped us automate our system from doing everything on paper. Now I can see when my techs finish early or are taking longer which allows better communication with customers. The ability to go from a quote to a job to an invoice is super easy and allows us to invoice our customers immediately which in turn has improved our cash flow dramatically. What do you like best about Simpro?

First, the onboarding process is fabulous. The hands on approach, where they take you step by step through the system and help you set it up the way you want and need it to be. Second, the system itself is very user friendly. We are a small company so the integration process was a breeze compared to other software systems we had tried. What do you like best about Simpro?

I like the ease of use when first getting started. It's easy to quickly figure out how to get around and find what you're looking for. The main navigation is laid out logically in order of how a typical job process would flow from Lead to Invoicing. The simPRO team was extremely helpful during the implementation process and offered us many resources to help us get started.

Chat support is 24/7, so you can always chat with a customer support representive to raise issues or ask questions. This has been extremely helpful throughout our time using simPRO. The account management team is also very helpful and easy to work with. In my experience, they've always gone above and beyond when possible.

There is also a suite of add-on features that are very useful. We regularly utilize the advanced reporting capabilities offered by their BI Reporting. The underlying software for BI Reporting recently had a major overhaul, making it easier to teach regular users how to create custom reports.

For advanced use cases, APIs and Zapier can be utilized to integrate with 3rd party applications.

Overall, the software has been good to us. New people have an easy time adjusting. The simPRO team is always wonderful to work with. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Simpro?

There are a couple of drawbacks. Lack of a true dispatch board and a messy, unintuitive mobile application.

I think it's time they consider a true drag-and-drop dispatch board that makes it easy for dispatch to know where technicians are, where technicians will be, what jobs are available to dispatch, and what technicians are available for jobs. They do offer a schedule board, a job board, and a service dashboard. But, these need to be on one page where dispatch can drag jobs/technicians onto a board.

Another area that needs a work is the mobile application. Much of the features needed are there, but using the app could be better. Features and modules seem to be cobbled together in a non-intuitive manner. It would be nice if the job card sections were laid out better, easier to distinguish between each other, and was more customizable.

In addition, there are 2 major features missing from the service mobile application. A true timecard system and custom forms. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Simpro?

Simpro is very user freindly, supports all my needs without having to use any other software. I use Simpro daily as I can manage all jobs, quotes, staff, clients, suppliers, contractors and it also supports the financial aspects associated with those. We love the flow from quotes to jobs, purchase orders to jobs, and the full inventory it tracks. Time tracking has been great for the employees. we also love the search functions - our last program would not search partial words Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Simpro?

Very choppy, and order must be followed. We also do not like the unability to alter a job after it's been sent to invoicing. Hate the idea of deleting invoice, alter job, resend to invoicing, re-editing invoice. Also hate that there is no DNE ability.
