What do you like best about Simpro?

By far one of the easiest software’s to pickup and use quickly backed with a stunning video training suite online and ready to go from day one. The step me through training is some of the best I have seen using software for 25 years. The end to end job management from quote to invoice is allows us to see where the profit and loss is coming for each job or customer. We have used some of the great simPRO embedded integration to allow other software to help reduce admin. The simPRO API is also allowing us to integrate with our current web offerings easily. What do you dislike about Simpro?

What do you like best about Simpro?

As an administrator, I like the features and customizability of Simpro. With Simpro I can create notifications, alerts, and forms for our work orders/quotes/invoices. As well as having the ability to view the status of our technicians in the field. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Simpro?

When I'm creating invoices and approving the work orders. The AI will override the times I have approved.

For example, there is an order for the labor that is being billed on an invoice. First comes our technician's time and then the assistant's time. If there's overtime it will be added after regular time. However, I have experienced Simpro overriding the order of the times we are billing. This can be frustrating to have to correct. What do you like best about Simpro?

Simpro has awesome customizations and the support staff was amazing. Lots of awesome features and app was easy to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Simpro?

The one downside of Simpro is there are a lot of rabbit holes you have to go down to get to certain pages. We used the software for awhile but ended up having to change due to complexities that didn't work well for a pool company. I think it could have worked for us but I didn't have enough support from my team in implementation (not Simpro's fault at all). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

SIMPRO DOESNT CARE AT ALL. WE ARE ONE OF THEIR BIGGEST CLIENTS AND WE CAN'T GET ANY IMMEDIATE SUPPORT WITH OUR API ISSUES. SIMPRO BI RARELY WORKS AND WHEN IT WORKS, IT IS DELAYED AND IT ONLY HAS UNTIL JULY 12TH DATA RIGHT NOW. ISN'T THAT A BIT EMBARRASING? WE ARE ALSO USING THE SIMPRO API, AND ARE CURRENTLY HAVING ISSUES BUT WE CAN'T GET ANY HELP AT ALL. NO ONE IS WILLING TO HELP US. SIMPRO DOESN'T CARE. EVEN IF WE'RE ALREADY LOSING MONEY BECAUSE OF OUR ISSUE. THEY CANNOT BE BOTHERED TO HELP US. THEY WILL REDIRECT YOU TO A FORUM WHERE VERY BUSY API DEVELOPERS RESPOND TO YOUR ISSUES ONLY IF THEY HAVE ENOUGH TIME TO HELP. THERE'S NO ACTUAL SUPPORT STRUCTURE. What do you like best about Simpro?

It is easy to learn and master. I love that there are tutorials for everything; it really takes out the need for training a new person. Their customer service is great, they are always available for a chat to resolve any issues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

There seems to be a lot of round about ways for doing things in SimPRO. If I run into something buggy, the fix is sometimes a work around and doesnt seem like an efficient way of doing something. I can’t say enough good things about this platform. From the moment I contacted them, they were responsive and accommodating. The quality of their work is exceptional, and I couldn’t be happier with the final result of implementation. Simpro is user friendly and integrates nicely with our accounting aspects. There are a number or work flows that are tedious and combersome; where some software's might have a single action, SimPro may require navigating through to a destination with 4-5 clicks. The other piece that has been disappointing is the integrations and their lack of usefulness or support for them. Things like the email or voip integrations are confusing to implement, and if there are issues then you are pointed to whatever other company is involved. -Automated Recurring Invoices (Makes it super easy to send out monthly invoices to our clients)

-Commissions (No more manually calculating sales commission on jobs)

-Smooth workflow (I now can go from a sales lead, to a quote, to a job without having to duplicate or triplicate my work)

Simpro offers an online quote acceptance feature that allows you to create quote acceptance forms for your customers. They can conveniently accept quotes online, and the system notifies you when a customer accepts the quote. Additionally, customer signatures are automatically captured and populated on PDF forms. This streamlined process helps you efficiently manage your quote workflow while maintaining accurate records of accepted quotes, including captured signatures.

Allows us to get everything in one place for the most part

Capability to manage jobs very well from sales to follow up

Great tools to control job costs

What do you dislike about Simpro?

Interface is not intuitive and there's a long and hard learning curve.

Only supports cash basis accounting, work-arounds suggested for accrual-based accounting require a massive administrative burden.

Payment processing tools are terrible, only intigrates with Square and there is no ACH option, so if someone wants to pay ACH we have to send invoice from quickbooks Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
