**What do you like best about Simpro?**

What I like most about Simpro is that it brings our entire workflow together in one place. We use it to manage jobs from quoting through completion, track technician schedules, manage inventory, and handle invoicing, ensuring everyone works from the same information.

The scheduling tools have been especially helpful. We can quickly assign technicians, check availability, and update jobs in real time. This has reduced scheduling conflicts and made it easier to communicate with our field team.

I also appreciate how customizable the platform is. We were able to adjust workflows, forms, and reports to better fit the way we work. Overall, Simpro has made us more efficient and has helped our office and field teams stay connected. It integrates directly to QuickBooks, which makes life much easier for accounting, tracking AR and AP, and matching payments to invoices.

**What do you dislike about Simpro?**

I've generally had a good experience with Simpro, but there are some things that could be better. The hardest part is finding the right report. With so many options, it's tough to know which one has the information you need, especially if you don't use them all the time. It would help if the report library were easier to use, the search worked better, or if there were suggested reports for common tasks.

The interface can feel overwhelming sometimes because there are so many features and settings. That flexibility is great, but it means new users have to spend time learning how everything works. Making navigation simpler or offering more step-by-step guides for features people use less often would make the platform easier to use.

These issues aren't huge, but fixing them would make Simpro even more efficient and user-friendly.

**What problems is Simpro solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before we started using Simpro, we had to manage projects, service calls, inventory, and invoicing with several different systems. This meant a lot of manual work and made it hard to see job status, technician schedules, or project profitability without spending a lot of time gathering information.

Now, with Simpro, everything is in one place. Quotes, work orders, scheduling, inventory, purchasing, and invoicing all go through the same system. This has made it easier for the office and field technicians to communicate and has cut down on entering the same data more than once. Technicians can get the information they need while they are on site, and the office can see job progress as it happens.

We also have a much clearer view of project costs and profitability, which helps us make better business decisions. Automating admin tasks has saved our team hours every week and lets us invoice customers faster after a job is done, which has improved our cash flow. Overall, Simpro has made us more efficient, cut down on manual work, and given us better visibility across the business.

**What do you like best about Simpro?**

It’s genuinely user-friendly, unlike other platforms that claim to be but, when it comes down to actually using them, nothing seems to make sense. Simpro really takes the cake :)

It integrates seamlessly with MYOB, which has been a very helpful feature. It’s also reliable for storing external files and documents relevant to our asset portfolio, so we can access everything quickly and consistently. That’s helped make the ROI quicker than we were expecting.

On top of that, the support, communication channels, and onboarding process were easy, quick, and efficient.

The addition of the AI feature "Lightning" to the platform is the cherry on top. It’s made note-taking, time tracking, and follow-ups much easier and quicker.

**What do you dislike about Simpro?**

From my perspective, having so many places to store notes—work notes, descriptions, and similar fields with overlapping purpose and layout—makes the experience a bit confusing.

But in saying that, the overall performance of the package is amazing!

**What problems is Simpro solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Visibility, time tracking, stock taking and upkeep, and staff scheduling—these features are priceless.

**What do you like best about Simpro?**

Very fluid flow from creating a customer through to invoicing the job. Being able to customise fields for customer assets and attach engineer site photos to the projects has been a great help to us. Have come from 12 years on a different CRM system and it's worlds apart

The updates are very regular and focus on real improvements and are detailed within each release

The techinical guide is very comprehensive and when this doesn't cover your needs, the tech help team are very knowlegable and responsive

**What do you dislike about Simpro?**

So far, we haven’t come across any major downsides. We’re still learning some of the more in-depth aspects of it, so we may discover more as we go. Importing catalogues can feel a little clunky at times, but that’s mainly because it’s a new process for us. Once everything is set up, though, it’s a huge time-saver for us.

There is some rigidity to certain processes which would better if we could navigate around but this is down to our style of working jobs rather than an inherent issue

**What problems is Simpro solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Speed of producing accurate quotes, split into appropriate cost centres and in a neat and customised format. Being able to send straight from simPRO is very helpful and saves so much time.

Cost tracking is also very good and breaks everything down into manageable pieces

**What do you like best about Simpro?**

I like that things are constantly improving. I also appreciate the level of detail and support provided by the help guides.

**What do you dislike about Simpro?**

I’ve used several systems before, and Simpro is missing some really important inventory attributes. I’d like to see a report that clearly shows all unallocated materials. Right now, if we make a change order and I unallocate items on the original job, then remove the item in the change order, it still shows up on the report that’s available to run today.

Another key improvement I’d like is the ability to show “reserved” inventory once an order has been pushed from Quote to Job. That way, if I’m behind on picking orders, my fellow colleagues can still see what inventory is tied up for orders that haven’t been officially picked yet.

I’d also like to see improvements to the barcoding platform. It feels like something that was put together a long time ago and never updated. I can’t use it for picking, and it doesn’t seem to work reliably when doing inventory.

**What problems is Simpro solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I like that Simpro Mobile is getting upgrades, especially when it comes to parts awareness. I also like the new accounting updates that help control prebuilds and ensure inventory is placed in the proper account at the item level.

Does everything that you need it to and then some! Very impressive software that covers most aspects of business

**What do you dislike about Simpro?**

Due to the nature of the system, it is very difficult to make amendments, set up new workflows etc. When it works the way you want it to - it works well, but setting up anything additional after that initial set up can be extremely time consuming and frustrating

**What problems is Simpro solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Bringing together multiple systems that are used throughout the business and putting them all into one software. Numerous back and forth between staff members will be eliminated as everything will be visible by everyone all in one place.

**What do you like best about Simpro?**

Support. When you need help, they listen, and that goes a long way in this space. They’re consistently looking to improve the platform and they welcome feedback. More importantly, they follow through and work to put that feedback into practice. Overall, it’s a very helpful team.

**What do you dislike about Simpro?**

There’s currently no dedicated contract module for Service Contracts and Subscriptions. Once that piece is in place, it will make a world of difference for many industries that rely on managing RMR effectively.

**What problems is Simpro solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Support across the board on Simpro Payments and Fast Cash has helped us collect money faster and maintain better visibility. Right now, these enhancements are proving very helpful for how we use the platform.

I love that you can track everything from labour and materials in the one place, nothing can be missed and everything is streamlined. Job flow is also very easy to keep on top of.

There is no major dislikes with Simpro, although it would ideal if the technicians could access all their licences on the app

**What do you like best about Simpro?**

Simpro has a lot to offer but some of the workflow is hard to decipher. When we started to implement it there wasn't a good foundation of training and through process behind the workflow presented. It was more of a setup ... and then we were left to our own devices to determine work flow and work arounds. 

The training portal is decent, but the constant upcharging on top of the premium price we already pay is frustrating. 

**What do you dislike about Simpro?**

Simpro could provide more training on the "upgrades" they are adding, and even monthly workshops. 

**What problems is Simpro solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Techs are able to log everything from the field on site and the PM can view it almost instantaneously.

After the initial setup, Simpro gives us a great all-in-one place to manage our operations, create quotes and invoices, and track our labour and material costs.

I haven’t found anything I dislike yet, but that doesn’t mean there haven’t been a few learning curves along the way.

Compiling and sending quotes is much quicker now, and the integrated take-off software is genuinely useful.

Two improvements we have noticed: 1) Less outages than we have experienced in the past 2) More responsive customer service if were to have an issue. 

**What do you dislike about Simpro?**

Simpro pricing has raised nearly 60% over the last three years. We offered to agree to a longer term contract in hopes of reducing the price but the price we were quoted was higher than what we are currently paying. 

**What problems is Simpro solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Simpro allows our technicians to provide us with notes and pictures in real time while on job sites. No more waiting for paperwork to come back. We are able to provide quotes to customer much quicker which ultumately results in more sales.

It's user friendly and my recent experience with a Simpro staff member was great! Hannah was very friendly and helpful. I'm looking forward to Lightning and what it has to offer!

I find that sometimes I'm finding help through Google rather than the help feature in Simpro, however Lightning may change that.

It's streamlining processes to free up time to do other work. Lightning will speed things up even more!

Limited CRM capabilities. Not enough marketing functions requires export to other platforms. Support from simpro staff is not good enough

Provides a system that works and is evolving. But there are plenty of competitors in the market and will be more coming I expect.

**What do you like best about Simpro?**

All aspects of asset maintenance are covered in one package. It brings together everything from asset details and service parts to scheduling the right staff, and it supports the full workflow from quote to invoice, including timesheets and purchasing, all in one place.

**What do you dislike about Simpro?**

That same flexibility also makes the system fairly complex, and it takes a significant amount of setup to get the most out of its features. Training staff to apply our business workflows through simPRO has been an ongoing challenge.

**What problems is Simpro solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Building a dataset of customer assets and their service history enables us to (a) provide accurate, timely scheduled maintenance and (b) become a “sticky” service provider. It also makes it easier to repeat service work, which is great for ongoing service relationships.

**What do you like best about Simpro?**

I really like the user interface of Simpro, which is really good. Their new AI function called Lightning has proven to be really useful.

**What do you dislike about Simpro?**

It doesn't really have a customer relations management function, so we've had to buy a separate CRM because it's not designed or used for that.

**What problems is Simpro solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Simpro for dispatching, keeping schedules organized, capturing notes, positioning the job, voicing the customer, and running reports, covering pretty much everything we need for our business.

**What do you like best about Simpro?**

It did a lot of things good enough but our use case struggled to utilize it in a way that made sense. We needed more administrative functions that simpro was not able to perform regarding scheduling and time keeping. The reporting was very useful once setup properly.

**What do you dislike about Simpro?**

The ui stayed the same during the time we used the software, once you understand it and train others to understand it, it can be as efficient as possible.

as mentioned before Simpro is allowing us to consolidate our information into one hub.
