## Propel Reviews
  ### 1. Customizable on Salesforce with Solid Integrations, but Page Layout Feels Rigid

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Manufacturing | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 07, 2026

**What do you like best about Propel?**

With it being on the Salesforce platform you get a wide range of customizability related to automations and user interface. Propel integrates decently into other software's such as PDM and ERP as long as you can make the API connections. There are some limitations to what you can display on the typical page layout due to how they are setup with LWC. Support and AE are responsive and do try to provide you with assistance.

**What do you dislike about Propel?**

How locked down the page layout is since it is all depending on LWC so limits the customizability but for us that is not major. Pricing is a little step if you do not use all of the functionality. I would be interested in breaking out the pricing model to allow you to buy just what you need instead of paying for all of it.

**What problems is Propel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Propel is currently acting as a middle man between our PDM and ERP environment allowed engineers to load to propel and ops to push to ERP. So we are removing some clerical errors that could happen. We are also handling our change process through Propel. Along with our Engineering project management.

  ### 2. Clear tracking of tasks and responsibilities

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Roberta B. | Compliance Officer, Farming, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 04, 2026

**What do you like best about Propel?**

Propel is most important to me since it enhances coherence and order in product operations. All tasks and updates are connected with the responsible team member, and the high feature base provides efficient progress monitoring and recording the decisions. The regular usage has made it the core of keeping all teams in the right track and regular usage makes sure that tasks, approval and updates are done in time. This has enhanced coordination and errors in our product lifecycle have been minimized.

**What do you dislike about Propel?**

As far as I am concerned, not all high tech workflow environments may be easy to install. A high number of features is flexible but when inconsistency occurs in the application by team members gaps or mistakes are realized. Due to the daily use of the platform, even minor misunderstandings can have an impact on several product improvements. Different departments also require customization of dashboards or views, which is an added time hence slight slow operations of teams.

**What problems is Propel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The main problem that Propel addresses is the problem of the lack of transparency and coordination in the management of products. In the past, it was laborious to monitor updates, approvals and tasks, which were subject to errors. All the responsibilities are distinguished with continuous usage, and updates are monitored in a systematic manner. The features give the opportunity to follow up the tasks and accountability among the teams and track them historically. It has made work more efficient, less prone to errors and collaborating across the departments easier and more trustworthy.

  ### 3. Clear Workflow Visibility and Cloud Access That Eliminates Version Confusion

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vaishnavi M. | Software Developer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 03, 2026

**What do you like best about Propel?**

The most important feature I think, is the workflow visibility; I can clearly see who is next in line, who has already completed approval of a certain item, etc. and who is dragging their feet. Before we were using a system of files everywhere, and we never knew which version of anything was current, and it was always a huge headache. Being cloud-based allows me to access it via my phone while I am on the floor, or when I’m away from my desk, which I thought I would never end up doing, but I do. At the end of a long day, I’m simply happy that we are no longer wasting time finding duplicate files, and figuring out which version of something we should be using.

**What do you dislike about Propel?**

Setting it up takes longer than you’d ever think. Also, a minor pet peeve, but a real pet peeve – you can’t really attach additional links or supporting documentation to each step of a workflow, as I would like to. It’s a small thing, but I continue to run into it.

**What problems is Propel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Propel solves those issues by providing a centralized platform for your Bills Of Materials, Change Orders, Approvals and Documents and tying them together in an actionable workflow so that nothing moves until all necessary approvals are made. That’s it, that’s the total value and it works.

  ### 4. Streamlined Approval and Document Management with Limitations

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jordan S. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 03, 2026

**What do you like best about Propel?**

I find Propel to be very useful once you're trained and know the ins and outs of it. It's very easy to use and provides good alerts. We use it for tracking expirations of equipment and calibrations, which helps us stay in compliance and make sure tools are ready at the right time. It also alerts us when deviations expire. This email alert system is more efficient than a calendar system because it lets us know when a calibration is about to expire so we can schedule accordingly and keep records up to date.

**What do you dislike about Propel?**

The attachment system for attaching documents is a little hokey in my opinion. For our users to view items, they often have to go through several different portals or links in a sense. There are some limitations with using the mobile device, or we use iPad or tablet-like devices here for viewing things. And so there are some limitations using those.

**What problems is Propel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Propel for remote approvals and document management in our quality system, which helps maintain compliance and timely equipment calibration alerts.

  ### 5. Clear accountability in product management with Propel

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Elnora R. | Logistics coordinator, Oil & Energy, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Propel?**

The element that I appreciate the most is that Propel has made responsibility and ownership of tasks transparent. I often use it in my position as a coordinator of product launches to keep track of the different people responsible to do every bit of the work such as certification approval and launch progress. It is simple to view the status of each item due to its wide capabilities surrounding task reminders and version logs. As it is something that we use on a regular basis, the platform simplifies the confusion, stays the projects on the timeline and makes everyone in various departments responsible.

**What do you dislike about Propel?**

A weakness I have observed is that task dependencies are not always easy to visualise where the product line is large. Although the workflow and approval tracking features are rather powerful, it takes additional effort to see how different items are related to each other. Due to the frequency of use, this can make planning periods slow where coordinating different teams is required which would need clarifications and follow-ups.

**What problems is Propel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The key problem Propel solved was a lack of uniformity in implementation of product teams. There were often delays in tasks, duplicate tasks and even lapses in approvals. A systematized assignment of tasks and documented workflows now provide everyone with insight into the next steps to be performed. We are used to it, which means that coordination is easier; progress can be measured more easily and, due to the regularity of its use, launches are not accompanied by those unnecessary interruptions and errors.

  ### 6. Reliable platform for managing product lifecycle

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Joel B. | Manufacturing Process Lead, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 17, 2026

**What do you like best about Propel?**

The most notable aspect of Propel to me is that it enhances collaboration better than any other thing. I do use it on a regular basis since updates on the products can be seen by all the parties concerned. The Salesforce integration makes the sales trust the data they are working with. Although it contains many features, the concentration on interdependent workflows actually helps my business to be on track and minimize delays in the implementation of products.

**What do you dislike about Propel?**

One aspect that I would like to dislike about Propel is the fact that some processes are too fixed. As our business requirements vary, modifying workflows in implementation may be time consuming. I also find the system slow when handling huge updates, as this influences my decision to use it on a particular day when I am busy. They do not stop our process, but do slow down the momentum and in some cases cause little delays in deliveries.

**What problems is Propel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The largest matter that Propel corrected on our behalf was discrepant information on products. We were losing time in correcting errors which were done by manual tracking. Having Propel integrated with Salesforce, teams operate in the same information. This has assisted my workmates to remain on track and minimize the work follow ups. It helps the business to simplify and clarify the change of products and other daily tasks become less stressful.

  ### 7. Well-Organized Database for Documentation, Training, and Change Order Workflows

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brendan Z. | Manufacturing Manager, Medical Devices, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 05, 2026

**What do you like best about Propel?**

It provides a well-organized database for documentation, review and approval, training, and change order workflows. It can take some getting use to, but overall not difficult to navigate for frequent use. Implementation went fairly smooth transitioning from one PLM to Propel.

**What do you dislike about Propel?**

The sign off features are a little cumbersome, typically creating a pop up window in order to complete the sign off. Linking of the training module and ensuring recurrence was a little confusing with the use of training plans versus training assignments.

**What problems is Propel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Propel helps our engineering, manufacturing, and quality departments run effectively by managing and organizing all our necessary documentation.

  ### 8. Propel brought structure to our product development chaos

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Samantha P. | Product analytics lead, Media Production, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 07, 2025

**What do you like best about Propel?**

The fact that Propel has a centralization of our product documentation and feedback loops has been game changer in our small fast moving startup. The fact that it enables us to directly relate customer feature requests to development work is something that I like very much. It also makes boarding new people to our product roadmap much easier.

**What do you dislike about Propel?**

Field engineers could have a stronger mobile interface of quick updates. Also, as the main functionality is good, I should like more easy integrations with ourselves niche CAD software. The first installation of the custom workflow was a little more engaged than expected.

**What problems is Propel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We would have a difficult time with version control of our hardware prototypes and the engineering change orders that came with them. Propel has introduced the much-needed discipline to this process and everybody is working by the current approved designs. This has to a great extent minimized the errors and the speed with which we have done our iteration cycles.

  ### 9. Staying updated across multiple tasks is now much simplier

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bruno W. | Asset Manager, Real Estate, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 21, 2025

**What do you like best about Propel?**

My favourite part about Propel is that it is able to monitor the progress and team activity of the project in the same location. I refer to it on the daily basis to update on the tasks, check milestones, and ensure that nothing slips through. Notifications allow me to remain informed on the changes without having to be actively informed back and forth. The features concern things that are actually important and by consistently using it, it has made team work easier and I would plan my day more easily.

**What do you dislike about Propel?**

The first one is that Propel could become a little claustrophobic when dealing with several projects with overlapping schedules. I usually have to manage to do the tasks manually by adapting them to changes, which makes the work slow down in the hectic weeks. These limitations appear regularly since I use it on a daily basis. Though it has been developed to manage standard project tracking quite well, times of heavy updates or change of focus are at times cumbersome than it should be.

**What problems is Propel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The greatest advantage is that Propel maintains the view of project updates being visible and predictable. I am not required to search various sources of information, but I can go through everything on a single platform. I visit it frequently to check what is being tracked and what needs to be done, which enables the team to remain in the same track. It has removed a significant amount of sporadic guessing and simplified the process of keeping the workflow within a variety of projects on track.

  ### 10. Efficient structure for development cycles

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Fathi K. | Product Lifecycle Manager, Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 02, 2025

**What do you like best about Propel?**

The aspect of Propel that I like the most is that it will keep us focused whenever we have to change product details or release them. I work on it within Salesforce, and nothing can be considered out of place with our usual work. It maintains a regular flow of updates and prevents things going down the cracks. That foundation has enabled hectic days to be a lot more manageable.

**What do you dislike about Propel?**

What annoys me sometimes about Propel is that some minor tasks may become more lengthy due to the additional navigating that is required. Those minor distractions disrupt our flow when the team is running fast. It has not been causing great problems but the extra effort is reflected on the peak working hours and release tightness.

**What problems is Propel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Propel has assisted us to correct the confusions we would have had to deal with regarding product updates. People were tracing changes in various locations before using it and that created confusion when preparing to release. All this is all in one workflow now and thus we scan updates quicker and with less errors. It has made collaboration within the team easier and enabled me to be on the track of what requires attention without having to run around every day in search of things I left out.

  ### 11. Cloud Convenience and Seamless CAD Integration

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Usama S. | Chief Operating Officer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 02, 2025

**What do you like best about Propel?**

I think the advantage of not having to haul a heavy laptop is that it works via cloud if the wifi isn't down; it also stores all our BOMs in the same spot and instead of me searching through ten different folders to locate a single part number. Additionally it integrates well with our cad tools as it allows us to lock files so that no one can overwrite someone else's work which is reassuring.

**What do you dislike about Propel?**

Once a user accidentally uploaded their desktop wallpaper and icons into the system and we were unable to reverse the action, therefore we were forced to totally wipe the system and begin again, it was a terrible experience. The user interface is rigid as it has a "made by engineers for robots" feel to it and rather than an interface built for humans with eyes.

**What problems is Propel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Now, at least the marketing department does not mistakenly pull incorrect product specifications like they used to do at least once a week. Also previously we used spreadsheets which was disastrous but now we have automated version control. Now the shop floor receives accurate build information to prevent them from assembling the machine in reverse.

  ### 12. Seamless Collaboration and Quick Product Launches

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sofia M. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 11, 2026

**What do you like best about Propel?**

I like Propel for the seamless collaboration it offers, allowing my team across engineering, manufacturing, and sales to work together in real time. It also helps with speeding up product launches thanks to its PLM workflow and product management features. The initial setup was fast.

**What do you dislike about Propel?**

I find that some people experience a steep learning curve when first using the platform, so simpler user onboarding and training could be improved.

**What problems is Propel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Propel for new product development, speeding up product launches, and facilitating seamless collaboration across engineering, manufacturing, and sales.

  ### 13. User-Friendly eQMS with Robust Document Control

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** mariajose n. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 05, 2026

**What do you like best about Propel?**

I like that Propel is user-friendly and covers everything from document control to non-conformance material reports (NCMR) and corrective and preventive actions (CAPA). The Change control process for engineering changes is particularly valuable as it makes it easy for the reviewer.

**What do you dislike about Propel?**

Integration of ERP systems would be nice but is now a showstopper

**What problems is Propel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Propel for document control and quality systems, solving regulatory and quality requirements for medical devices. It's user-friendly and covers everything from document control to NCMR and CAPA.

  ### 14. User Friendly PLM Service

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kaylee R. | Manager, Document Control , Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 31, 2025

**What do you like best about Propel?**

Our company adapted Propel nearly two years ago. I am a daily user and still love the system! I love the customization that we can implement into the system and how user friendly it is. Teaching users how to navigate the system has been easy and new hires are able to learn the software quickly. I also am pleased with the storage capacity and how the system does not get bogged down. Our team at Propel is also always helpful and responsive if we run into any issues.

**What do you dislike about Propel?**

The only downside I have observed is that there are a few glitches when there are new versions released. They are minor and the team always helps to resolve them quickly!

**What problems is Propel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use this to house all of our QMS Documents, CAPAs, Marketing Materials, and Product BOMs.
Having everything in one place makes for ease of access and use.

  ### 15. How Propel brought our disparate product data into one coherent view

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alba G. | Senior Product Manager, Civil Engineering, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 22, 2025

**What do you like best about Propel?**

I like Propel because it is great at negotiating the post deployment product variations. It also serves to keep us on the right path to follow certain configurations of the individual robotic systems that we have in the field. Also, Propell integrating component end of life directly in our product records is kind of wonderful. This advance awareness will allow us to now be one step ahead of the game by proactively planning replenishment compared with being reactive to the surprise of replacement.

**What do you dislike about Propel?**

Propel is rather rigid with regard to attempting a minor, retroactive modification to a historical product record on one deployed unit. Very often, it also involves an embarrassingly time-consuming procedure in order not to influence other product lines. Sometimes really deep bill of material structures can be annoying to navigate through when I just want to get a little of information on a single part speedily. Its filters are so advanced and can be too precise overly so that making a broader search can be more complicated than needed.

**What problems is Propel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The big issues that concerned us centred on regularly including field service feedback in our product loop, and making sure essential engineering update trickled steadily down to our repair task force plus logistics of spare parts. Prior to Propel, the technician is a disjointed process which frequently resulted in our technicians receiving outdated instructions or ordering the wrong part to repair a customer. A reportable issue can now immediately result in a structured engineering change raised on Propel in any field. This will guarantee that when fixes, updated service instructions and correct replacement part numbers are approved they automatically get linked to the correct version of products besides our technicians only taking up much less marking time and distance to perform much faster and more accurate repairs on behalf of our customers.

  ### 16. Propel finally gave us full visibility into product revisions

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Adam J. | Manufacturing process optimization engineer, Food Production, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 28, 2025

**What do you like best about Propel?**

I like the fact that it is very easy to involve our clients in the design review activity. They only have to look at whatever the most recent mockups are and make changes which are approved right in Propel without us ever having to open a second portal or daisy chain emails. The second major success is the way it ties customer input on returns directly to component changes and therefore easily visible as to why a revision occurred.

**What do you dislike about Propel?**

Tracking of niche client requirements in the initial setup of the custom field was somehow cumbersome. Learning on our own unique data structures took some time to mapping back correctly. Also the notification alerts should be more refined out of the box so new users are not immediately overwhelmed by every little bit of an update.

**What problems is Propel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before we would have a really hard time getting timely client approvals on custom designed products and tracking exactly what they had wanted done to them. The length of a project was frequently made longer due to the lack of a unified channel of email approvals and version control. Using Propel our design approval cycle time is also reduced greatly due to the single location to review and comment. It has no longer had the cringeworthy, time-wasting and irritating disputes about which version you signed off, and everybody saves a lot of grief.

  ### 17. Propel streamlines our product data for everyone in our company

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alicja N. | Product lifecycle manager, Paper & Forest Products, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 23, 2025

**What do you like best about Propel?**

I enjoy the fact that Propel works with our CAD program. It has made the process of dealing with our bill of materials highly streamlined. The flexibility to design our own workflows according to our own needs has also been very useful.

**What do you dislike about Propel?**

I consider the search mechanism to be a little slow at times. I hope there is a more user friendly method of handling complex BOM structures. Better integration with our ERP system would be something I would also like to see.

**What problems is Propel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We had issues regarding version control and monitoring engineering changes. Propel has developed a central repository of all our product information. Now we noticed the definite decrease of manufacturing errors, and a more effective process of collaboration.

  ### 18. Nice for Version Control, but Unintuitive and Clunky to Use

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Pharmaceuticals | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 30, 2025

**What do you like best about Propel?**

It is great for version control. This includes tracking formal review and approval processes, and ability to review or recover old/obsolete versions.

**What do you dislike about Propel?**

It is incredibly unintuitive to make new items or structural changes to the data that are collected. It is hard to make any changes without interfacing with an internal Propel account manager. The use guides are hard to follow and also tiring to read.

**What problems is Propel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Version control, review, and approval for our documentation.

  ### 19. Game-Changer for Product Lifecycle Management on Salesforce

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jeffrey F. | ERP Consultant, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 22, 2025

**What do you like best about Propel?**

Propel PLM is hands-down one of the most strategic investments we’ve made for streamlining our product development lifecycle. As a Salesforce-native solution, it integrates seamlessly with our CRM and other cloud tools, creating a unified platform for managing everything from product ideation to commercialization.

The UI is intuitive, the workflows are customizable without being overly complex, and the real-time collaboration features have drastically improved cross-functional alignment between engineering, marketing, and customer success teams. No more silos, no more outdated spreadsheets — just clean data, clear visibility, and faster time-to-market.

What really stands out is how Propel handles change management. The ability to track revisions, approvals, and compliance processes all in one place has saved us countless hours and headaches. Plus, the customer support team is responsive, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in our success.

Bottom line? Propel PLM doesn’t just help us manage products — it helps us move them forward faster, smarter, and more collaboratively.

**What do you dislike about Propel?**

The Flip Side: Areas for Improvement

While Propel PLM delivers a robust, Salesforce-native solution with undeniable benefits, it’s not without its challenges. First off, the learning curve can be steep, especially for teams unfamiliar with Salesforce’s ecosystem. If you don’t already have internal Salesforce expertise, expect to invest time in onboarding and training.

Customization is powerful, but it can also be a double-edged sword. Over-customization can lead to complexity and technical debt if not managed carefully. And while the UI is generally user-friendly, there are areas where navigation could be more intuitive—particularly when jumping between different product records or BOM structures.

**What problems is Propel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Problems Propel Solves & How It Pays Off

1. Problem: Disconnected Product Data Across Teams
Before Propel: Engineering was in one tool, marketing in another, support flying blind — and everyone was emailing spreadsheets around like it was still 2005.
With Propel: A single source of truth. Everything — from requirements to BOMs to change orders — lives in one unified, Salesforce-native platform.
Benefit: No more data silos, faster decision-making, and better cross-functional collaboration. Everyone’s working off the same playbook in real time.

2. Problem: Inefficient Change Management
Before Propel: Change orders were slow, approvals got stuck in inbox purgatory, and traceability was a nightmare.
With Propel: Streamlined change processes with automated workflows, audit trails, and real-time notifications.

  ### 20. A solution that makes product change tracking a lot more manageable for us

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mark J. | Product Lifecycle Manager, Computer Software, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 13, 2025

**What do you like best about Propel?**

Having Propel makes it much simpler to make sure our product data and quality stay in step, and that is really valuable to me. Because our current work is set up on Salesforce, using Propel just fits in and keeps things simple for us. It’s convenient that Propel joins up different departments, particularly when we are shifting a product from development to launch. It has brought more order to how we work together, which has improved how we flow.

**What do you dislike about Propel?**

What really bothers me about Propel is that it doesn’t handle a lot of attachments or big files well. It gets slow and the process of getting approval goes on longer. It is not easy to identify changes or see different versions either. When there’s a lot riding on deadlines, those issues become much more of a problem.

**What problems is Propel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Thanks to Propel, we have a better way of tracking and approving product updates and quality checks. Back then, everything was split up in spreadsheets, emails, and different folders. Every bit of data is united now, so it’s much simpler to track what has been done and who has approved it. It has made things clearer for both the design and compliance teams to communicate. Now it’s much simpler to get products out the door with fewer delays or sudden issues.

**Reviewed Date:** August 06, 2025

**What do you like best about Propel?**

Propel has had a great impact on our organization, It is more modern than another similar software. It has helped us to increase the efficiency of the process and connect customers with interesting products and experiences.

**What do you dislike about Propel?**

Since implementing Propel, the experience has been extremely positive. We've found it highly effective in managing documentation, engineering changes, corrective and preventive actions, non-conformities, and more.

**What problems is Propel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Propel -Add our processes and improve collaboration in all areas. It allows us to find creative ways of satisfying commercial needs, the board and the reports that facilitate the monitoring and analysis of data.

  ### 22. Provides the best quality for managing your business

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** David G. | Associate Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 25, 2025

**What do you like best about Propel?**

Its user interface is quite intuitive, making it easy for less tech-savvy employees to adopt. I like that it provides us with understandable data that helps us make strategic decisions.

**What do you dislike about Propel?**

Propel has allowed us to gain greater visibility into problem areas in our quality workflows. I haven't experienced any issues or problems, its performance has been incredible, and the overall experience for team members has been excellent.

**What problems is Propel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use if for engineering and documentation changes, audits, corrective and preventive actions, supplier management, non-compliance, equipment maintenance and calibration, and regulatory license management.

  ### 23. Propel's customer service is extremely prompt and willing to resolve any issues

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nasib B. | Quality Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 16, 2025

**What do you like best about Propel?**

Analytics is very useful developing the dashboard and proactively monitoring progress. The cloud-based setup ensures that all team members are always on the same page, improving collaboration and efficiency.

**What do you dislike about Propel?**

Configuration requires a deeper understanding of the system to fully utilize its features. The search function also doesn't capture what I'm looking for, and I need to enter the exact article number to find my document.

**What problems is Propel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Mandatory accountability and established controls prevent massive errors with the company's data. Ease of implementation is another strong point, the process was well-structured and allowed for a smooth transition.

  ### 24. Its user-friendly interface and robust data management capabilities are particularly appealing

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shams H. | System Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 14, 2025

**What do you like best about Propel?**

Personally, what I like most about Prople is that we can customize the software to suit our specific needs. The best part is that it can manage our complex data and integrate seamlessly with other tools.

**What do you dislike about Propel?**

I think the system may seem complex, but the concept of the product lifecycle should be clear to anyone using this platform.

**What problems is Propel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The best thing about Propel is the wide range of operations it supports. Propel can help companies reduce risk and the need for rework by providing a clear understanding of the impact of change.

  ### 25. Super efficient product management platform

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mark P. | Senior Web Developer, Civil Engineering, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 25, 2025

**What do you like best about Propel?**

I must say that what I love about Propel is that it makes it easy for us to manage the product lifecycle nicely. When everything is mapped out, we never lose track of what is the state of a product development. It really is a plus to have a tool that gives us transparency across team when we need everybody to be aligned. One of the things that have helped us avoid any confusion, or can be said easier is to enable us to share updates and feedback so easily.

**What do you dislike about Propel?**

A beneficial feature of Propel, but the user interface can sometimes be a little bit busy, when we are trying to locate certain data. The tools or functions that some require to use can take a couple more steps to use, which can take more time. It also integrates with other platforms but setting that up can be more difficult than one would expect, and getting everything connected is more time consuming than expected.

**What problems is Propel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Of the things Propel helps us with the most is product development transparency. By having everything placed together in one place, it’s only easier to keep an eye on what tasks and when are due so nothing gets left on the side. We don’t have to waste time trying to find the updates or check updates or get the status of it. Also, collaboration with the software has made communication among our team and made us make quicker decisions in order to work efficiently.

  ### 26. We're actually excited about our project updates now

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mark H. | Data Integration Developer, Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 21, 2025

**What do you like best about Propel?**

The ability to create personalized dashboards proves beneficial because it enables staff members to concentrate on essential aspects. Different groups in the organization evaluate leads and conversions by the sales division and monitor campaign statistics through the marketing team. The system uses automated features to eliminate manual data entry as well as human errors. The integration of CRM systems with the system produces streamlined business operations and enhances data management resourcefulness.

**What do you dislike about Propel?**

New users would benefit from complete onboarding materials because the learning process requires substantial effort. The customer support team responds slowly to requests during times of high volume operations which creates frustration for users with urgent problems. The mobile application requires better functionality along with enhanced user experience.

**What problems is Propel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our data existed in multiple separate platforms before we implemented Propel which created challenges for understanding our complete operations. The entire operational information now exists within a single dashboard which enhances company decision processes. Resource allocation improved together with team collaboration because of this change. Automation features at Propel have freed up considerable time which enables our team to work on essential strategic projects rather than spending hours on administrative work.

  ### 27. No more confusion or missed steps in our workflows

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alf C. | Collaboration and communication specialist, Civil Engineering, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 19, 2025

**What do you like best about Propel?**

Our dashboard lets project managers see all work status right now. Project managers can easily watch project advancement and solve problems right away. An automated system generates complete reports which anyone can access through single button presses. The system's comment update tools make teamwork more effective because team members see changes as they happen.

**What do you dislike about Propel?**

The search function needs improvement. Users have trouble locating their required documents and tasks through the search tool. The mobile app requires better performance and design to improve user experience. Setting up WorkOS for the first time requires too much time and needs better welcome instructions.

**What problems is Propel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our organizational performance took a hit because our project data lived in multiple systems until we started using Propel. Our team can now oversee and check project details more effectively because all project information resides in one location. The team members deliver better results and streamline their work processes through the use of Propel. Our team members now focus on planning since automated reports handle data entry work successfully.

  ### 28. Propel made our team feel more connected and in sync than ever before

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Olivia E. | Marketing Manager, Photography, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 11, 2025

**What do you like best about Propel?**

Automation features within Propel's system together with integrated processes create substantial improvements to our business operations. Our team directs its efforts toward strategic work because automated repetitive tasks take over their responsibilities. The system automatically creates client reports which it distributes according to scheduled timelines thus freeing up substantial weekly hours. The system allows us to efficiently merge client information between our CRM and email marketing functions for complete visibility into our customer base. The system enables users to track real-time information through adjustable dashboards for making choices that hinge on data. Our team quickly adapted to the user interface because it maintains a simple design that makes operations straightforward.

**What do you dislike about Propel?**

The software setup process requires dedication because automation tools are new to many users. The software requires some trial and error to master all its capabilities. Advanced features in the software require substantial learning efforts which might benefit from assistance during setup. Data processing delays within the software occur infrequently although they have sometimes caused brief interruptions. The minor glitches in the software are easy to handle because the overall value of the program remains strong.

**What problems is Propel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The introduction of Propel eliminated the difficult process of workflow management and tool integration which resulted in frequent mistakes. The manual data transfer process created time delays in our operations. Propel handles all operations automatically and executes repetitive tasks which simplifies our work process. Our previous report generation tasks for clients took up much time until we adopted Propel which now produces the reports automatically so we can dedicate ourselves to essential work. Our business efficiency increased dramatically because of this system which enabled our business growth.

  ### 29. Amazing program

We are just starting with propel, and we're loving it!! It is so easy to personalize for your needs. There are many useful functions that you are able to utilize with your company

**What do you dislike about Propel?**

Nothing so far. We had soon struggle getting some things set up, but the support has been amazing to find the solutions.

**What problems is Propel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Making a more successful way to create and collaborate change orders. Making training easy to stay complaint!

  ### 30. The Power of Propel PLM

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jeannie V. | Manager, Quality Systems, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 25, 2025

**What do you like best about Propel?**

Our organization selected Propel in 2021 to be our PLM provider. I was a skeptic to begin with, but now I am a true fan of the Power of Propel. Along with management support, we have been able to grow our user adoption and increase efficiency of our design/development process, get products to market faster, and live the dream of digital transformation. The platform is intuitive and the integration with our ERP has changed the game. Our dedicated customer success manager is a game changer - without this support I may not have the same opinions on the platform. I use the PLM every day and am not leading all sustaining and implementation of new modules. It's an amazing opportunity to really make an impact in the organization.

**What do you dislike about Propel?**

We have noticed that making design changes to the platform once launched involved careful consideration of how historical records or pages will be impacted. We had to learn the hard way but were able to course correct with our CSM's guidance. We always keep this in mind when creating new modules, it's best to take the time to collect all user needs and thoroughly test them through validation protocols.

**What problems is Propel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Biggest win: quick and easy access to documents and records. Automation of change approvers is great also, never having to guess who needs to sign/approve what. So much information just a few clicks away, including dashboards to monitor effectiveness and identify areas for improvement to the QMS and platform capabilities.

  ### 31. Propelling into the future

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Stivalis M. | Product Engineer III, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 03, 2025

**What do you like best about Propel?**

Propel facilitates all my PLM needs, not only integrating with our system but also keeping our DHF records. It is easy to use and saves so much time when implementing changes. I use Propel on my everyday job.

**What do you dislike about Propel?**

Sometimes it could get a little slow, but this is not something too bad.

**What problems is Propel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We used to have all of our records in different platforms, making things hard to find.
When evaluating an issue and doing RCA, we would have to dig information from multiple sites, and not everyone is an SME.

  ### 32. We’ve been impressed with the level of customization that Propel has to offer!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Angela M. | Quality Systems Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 29, 2024

**What do you like best about Propel?**

Reveal Lasers LLC is an aesthetic laser start-up company that needed an eQMS solution to document and manage business processes. Since we were a startup company, we had the advantage of building (customizing) Propel from the foundation up with minimal existing data to import. On 03/01/2024, we launched Propel and have identified two significant outcomes.

1.	Detailed customization
We’ve been impressed with the level of customization that Propel has offered. Many available solutions on the market are limited to preconfigured out-of-the box parameters but Propel has shattered this mold. Through available customizations our QMS has aligned nicely with Propel, verses bending our QMS to fit a solution when it clearly doesn’t. This led to Reveal’s first significant outcome. Propel was launched under budget, in a timely fashion, with customized usability.

2. Process Flows
Propel has allowed Reveal Lasers to develop process flows to meet our needs and once developed we have been able to improve those flows on the fly. The efficiency has been a tremendous asset to the Team members and we have an increase in our daily activities and reviews during many of the operations meetings.

**What do you dislike about Propel?**

When making changes to the Quality or Items Objects the activity isn't complete until several screens are updated. These additional steps can become combersome for what is sometimes a very simple update.

For example: (New page layout field)

1. Create the field.
2. Add it to a page layout.
3. Add to a field set (if applicable).
4. Add it to the Propel Setup.
     a) Log out of Propel first and back in for the new field to become available to add. This is not ideal when several screens are open with work spaces.
5. Add it to the Users permission sets.

**What problems is Propel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

1.Complaint module

The complaint module (object) was prioritized when we began to develop Propel. As a medical device company, it’s paramount that Reveal had an established process for investigating and handling complaints. Today, we have an established robust complaint object where all complaints are handled. This is our second significant outcome. Propel was a fundamental partner when gaining control over our Complaint process.

Propel has supported our product development through its PLM features. Our parts (Items) have been categorized and successfully organized in the Items object. Top level assemblies are now being structured with BOMs. When this module was in its infancy our Operations group explained the importance of efficiently identifying where parts are used. This is no longer a wish, but a reality as our first BOMs have been developed.
As a remote company, the Propel project has promoted interdepartmental communication. Systems are dependent on each other to operate appropriately, and each group plays a key role in implementing Propel.

  ### 33. Propel is user-friendly and easy to use, with changes requiring minimal configuration effort

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Medical Devices | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 28, 2025

**What do you like best about Propel?**

I found that Propel is user-friendly and easy to use. If any changes are required, they can be implemented easily with minimal configuration effort.

**What do you dislike about Propel?**

To support efficient validation and compliance, Propel should provide SDLC documentation. As an end-user company, leveraging these documents would reduce redundant effort, streamline validation activities and enable faster implementation.

**What problems is Propel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With Propel, we can manage different quality processes within a single application. Additionally, Propel supports seamless integration with other applications, enabling us to view and manage data and processes efficiently in one place.

  ### 34. Great assist from the Propel team

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Medical Devices | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 04, 2025

**What do you like best about Propel?**

Everything so far has been great, it has moved our company to future state. We used to be paper based.

**What do you dislike about Propel?**

No really anything bad about Propel, just to engaged people to use this new app. Change mind of people that are used to do it certain way.

**What problems is Propel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

All paper-based process from our Quality Management System.
We had information and data all over different drives, different folders, different system, and now everything is in Propel.

  ### 36. Makes everything easy and quick and I love how there's a trail of everything everyone does.

**What do you dislike about Propel?**

nothing, so far all the features have helped me and my team to achieve new things

**What problems is Propel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

it took so much time and effort to release changes and to find documents before

  ### 37. Propel has its advantages and disadvantages

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Medical Devices | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 23, 2025

**What do you like best about Propel?**

Keeping the records, approvals, sign offs, customer support, ease of use for established fields

**What do you dislike about Propel?**

Creating new fields or new lifecycles is redundant, the data has to be entered in multiple times in multiple different places, there is no way to use it as a document control system

**What problems is Propel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Using for quality records (complaints, CAPAs, changes, etc.), it's easier to share things with suppliers and show during audits.

**Official Response from Zara Raza:**

> Hello, thank you for reviewing Propel! We really appreciate it.

  ### 38. Move faster and easier

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Paul S. | President, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 21, 2025

**What do you like best about Propel?**

The completeness of a PLM, eQMS, Supplier collaboration and managing you marketing information

**What do you dislike about Propel?**

Some repeat data entry is required. While not extremely time consuming it is a bit annoying.

**What problems is Propel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Providing a convienent and compliant way to managed documentation and the product through its lifecycle

  ### 39. Excellent Overall

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Francis C. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 20, 2024

**What do you like best about Propel?**

The service/support is excellent. Whenever an issue arise or I have a question I get an answer in the same or next day. Their aftersale is on point. They constantly try to improve their products and take customer feedback very seriously. We have been with Propel since their debuts and it has been in constant evolution.

The platform itself is easy to use and the posibilities are endless. Its obvious that they strive for client satisfaction.

**What do you dislike about Propel?**

There are some limitations, There were more at first and less now, on top of my head I can't think of one anymore because they have improved so much and I have learned to work with it.

I dont have much to say regarding what I dislike.

**What problems is Propel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Quality management combined with PLM allows for great tracability and reporting of issues.

With Propel we managed to consolidate many business processes all in one place which make it easy to track down

**Official Response from Zara Raza:**

> Hi Francis, we are very glad to hear that you enjoy our service. There's always room for improvement, and we plan to roll out many more features that customers have requested. Stay tuned!

  ### 40. A Customizable, Community-Driven Solution Elevating Our Business

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Eli B. J. | Continuous Improvement Program Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 15, 2024

**What do you like best about Propel?**

At MicroLumen what we like best about Propel is how customizable it is. The system allows us to tailor workflows and processes to fit our specific business needs, ensuring maximum efficiency and compliance. Additionally, the network of people around the system is incredibly supportive. It's amazing to see how users help each other, sharing insights and best practices. With such a collaborative community and a highly adaptable system, Propel truly enables us to propel our business forward.

**What do you dislike about Propel?**

Honestly, we don't see anything negative about the Propel. It has proven to be an invaluable tool for our business, offering extensive customization and a supportive network that continually enhances our experience.

**What problems is Propel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Propel is solving significant problems at MicroLumen by streamlining our processes and eliminating cumbersome paper trails and scattered information across multiple systems. It has enabled us to run our Quality Management System in a far more efficient and integrated manner.

**Official Response from Zara Raza:**

> Thank you for your review Eli! It was great seeing you in-person at our Propulsion event :)

  ### 41. Works Well, good support, Training Super Easy!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Joseph R. | Special Projects Administration, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 24, 2024

**What do you like best about Propel?**

I like the Change process, and ease of putting together Training Plans and Quizzes.

**What do you dislike about Propel?**

There is one bug, it is not allowing the training, which is late, to appear late

**What problems is Propel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The biggest problem, training to SOPs. that shows what was trained and proved with a quiz.

**Official Response from Zara Raza:**

> Thank you for your review, Joseph!

  ### 42. God customer support

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** David C. | Senior Manager, Quality Assurance, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 24, 2024

**What do you like best about Propel?**

It has a great family of features that provide a comprehensive eQMS solution. Also, the customer support is generally responsive.

**What do you dislike about Propel?**

The admin functions are not very intuitive and a non-IT administrator will need help. Running reports for useful metrics is also not as straightforward as I'd hope for.

**What problems is Propel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Propel allows us to automate/computerize our Change Control and Training processes, which were extremely laborious to manage using a paper system. Additionally, running metrics has also become easier.

**Official Response from Zara Raza:**

> Hi David, we're glad to know you like Propel overall and that customer support has been very helpful for you. We've shared your thoughts with our team.

  ### 43. Propel is Great for Processing Change Orders

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 27, 2021

**What do you like best about Propel?**

I like the SalesForce Interface. It is user-friendly for the most part. I like the ease of creating items and change orders, addiing approvers, and basically the whole process to Approval and Implementation.

**What do you dislike about Propel?**

I do not like that when doing a search for category items, that I cannot print the list unless I want to create a report.

**Recommendations to others considering Propel:**

I would recommend using Propel. It is a good option for companies that do not want to invest in Agile PLM.

**What problems is Propel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I like using the task feature as a way to log items needing to be completed before the EC can be moved to the next status.

**Official Response from Zara Raza:**

> Thanks for your review!

  ### 44. Easy and effective PLM tool

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rajesh P. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 15, 2024

**What do you like best about Propel?**

Having worked on other PLM tools, I find Propel is simple yet effective to use. It's extremely easy to use and implement, particularly if Salesforce is being used in the organization. I have seen new great features being added every release. It's been great so far with our Propel journey.

**What do you dislike about Propel?**

Little bit unstable behavior sometimes, gives a bad user experience. Otherwise it's good

**What problems is Propel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

PLM usage
Change management
BOM management

**Official Response from Zara Raza:**

> Hi Rajesh, thanks for your review!

  ### 45. Supports our PLM/eQMS needs

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Anice L. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 20, 2023

**What do you like best about Propel?**

Propel works on the cloud, so don't need to invest in on site storage and allow company employees to access files all over the world. I like their continual effort to provide more features, improve efficiency and their webinars are helpful prior to software updates. Additionally the customer support has been top notch; quick, efficient, personalized and empathetic.

**What do you dislike about Propel?**

As someone who inherited the software, audit trail is important to gain the understanding on what happened to deleted files (what, who, when and why). The files were gone and no trail of them. I need the ability to customize the email notification content and adding external email for specific change which was impossible due to the process automation. The software relies on preexisting knowledge to use/customize certain functions to control the front end that the user sees so it can be overwhelming trying to learn everything.

**What problems is Propel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Excellent tool for document and record control. I like the confidence in knowing that everyone in the company are working with the same documents and revisions.

  ### 46. Propel PLM

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 20, 2024

**What do you like best about Propel?**

Flexible customization compared to other PLM.

**What do you dislike about Propel?**

Onboarding process can be overwhelming compared to traditional PLM.

**What problems is Propel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Customization of user and supplier community is very useful for sharing contents.

**Official Response from Zara Raza:**

> Thank you for your positive review! We are so glad you find our customization features valuable.

  ### 47. Effective Product Lifecycle Management suite

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Roger C. | Systems Architect, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 06, 2023

**What do you like best about Propel?**

Propel is based and powered by the Salesforce.com platform. This allows them to take advantage of the myriad of changes and improvements that Salesforce alllows for. It's a managed package, so you get Propel support and Salesforce support for the most part.

Propel's support engineers seem to be solid, provided they understand the business use-case.
As long as you stay within Propel's overall model, it's not too bad.

The User experience is similar to a standard Salesforce one, but with some caveats.

**What do you dislike about Propel?**

Because it's a managed package, some things are a black box to end users.
There is limited configuration capability based on the way Propel wants to go to market.

A lot of their customers use their Bill of Materials (BOM) configurator a lot; we don't (could just be us).

**What problems is Propel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It drives data collection and standardisation for PLM - from cradle to grave.
It's giving greater visibility to the product life cycle than if it were embedded in a series of Excel sheets.

We are also leveraging the product data references for our Customer Service function, so they have the ability to look at product and begin their investigations when a customer calls with an issue.

  ### 48. Excellent Product

**Reviewed by:** Alex P. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**What problems is Propel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ISO certification / QMS management

**Official Response from Zara Raza:**

Sometimes it is not always intuitive to learn for people new to the software.

Ease of use and very flexible. Good support and Reliable service. Change from our old system was fairly painless. ECO quick view feature is excellent. I use the system everyday

**What do you dislike about Propel?**

Cooperation and BOM navigator panels use a lot of real estate and arent very useful, could be hidded by default

**What problems is Propel solving and how is that benefiting you?**
