**What do you like best about OnPay?**

Its easy to use while providing powerful tools needed for payroll.  The implementation was a breeze, and every interaction with support has been positive.

**What do you dislike about OnPay?**

So far, its the best payroll system I have used-out of at least half a dozen.

**What problems is OnPay solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We had an overly complex system that just never seemed to work well, and their customer service was a nightmare as well as being obscenely expensive.  OnPay has been outstanding

We are a small non-profit who just switched payroll services to OnPay.  So far, the transition has been a very easy set up and an incredibly user friendly experience!  I'm pleased with their help and customer service as well.

**What do you dislike about OnPay?**

Thus far, I haven't found any negatives about working with OnPay, they are just what we were looking for.

**What problems is OnPay solving and how is that benefiting you?**

They offer everything we need as a small non-profit.  I'm grateful that they offer integrations like Guideline to make switching over payroll providers even easier.

**What do you like best about OnPay?**

It is easy to onboard new employees and customize pay types and rates.  I also like that there are several add-ons.  We use them to manage our 401k and they also have HR and other features that are optional.

**What do you dislike about OnPay?**

There is a number to call for assistance but I'd appreciate a chat feature for quick questions.

**What problems is OnPay solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Previously our 401k was through a 3rd party and I had to pull info from payroll and enter it onto a separate site each time.  Onpay lets everyone set up their 401k preference when they set up their payroll and I don't have to do anything with any of it.

**What do you like best about OnPay?**

OnPay staff are great at customer support. I struggled a bit with setup, but the wonderful and patient people at OnPay got me up and running. Integration with QuickBooks makes running payroll a snap, and our accounts map seamlessly to the correct budget lines. They helped me find the settings that weren't quite right and stayed on the phone until the whole situation was sorted. What a wonderful experience!

**What do you dislike about OnPay?**

Written instructions are limited for a person who is not already familiar with payroll setup. I tried to fix my issues, but because it was my first time setting up payroll I found it difficult to find the help pages containing the information I needed. This is a nonissue when you discover the staff are helpful and patient.

**What problems is OnPay solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are a small, nonprofit organization. I don't have a bookkeeper, and I need something as simple as OnPay to do a good job paying my limited staff. We don't have good benefit options for our staff, but now I will be more confident approaching my board with benefit proposals.

Ease of use, when I log on, my required tasks are right there in front of me. Reports for my activities are easy to find and download for reports.  Customer support is excellent and easily obtainable.

I really cannot think of anything that is deficient in the product.

Maintenance of records.  Ease of use in adding and subtracting employees.

**What do you like best about OnPay?**

After reviewing multiple payroll services for our small business, we decided to go with OnPay due to cost and services included.  It is affordable, easy to use, and the services provided save me time and eases my mind when it comes to quarterly filings because I know OnPay is taking care of it for me.  Helps ease that "oh no! I forgot something" when a deadline hits.

**What do you dislike about OnPay?**

I don't really dislike anything.  It can be a little tricky to change the pay frequency when you have to do a special run (like sudden employee termination), but I figured it out and got through it.

OnPay is simplifying my payroll process and state/federal tax filing requirements.

**What do you like best about OnPay?**

OnPay has some of the most helpful customer service staff I have ever encountered. Any issues I've had have been resolved very quickly and concisely. I have usually only had to speak to one person to resolve my issue. It is also super easy to run payroll and minimizes my workload significantly.

**What do you dislike about OnPay?**

There are a lot of services I do not use on OnPay and I wish I could edit my dashboard to not show the services I do not use. Also, the Payroll schedule formatting is not super intuitive and it took me a few rounds to truly understand what days go in which payroll cycle.

**What problems is OnPay solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am not that experienced in running payroll for my small business and OnPay has streamlined that task significantly. I have also learned a lot about the process on the way from speaking to various customer service people.

The onboarding specialist was knowledgeable and professional, yet personable and patient (I asked a LOT of questions).  The specialist was very responsive with email replies and made it easy to schedule time to talk.  The company set up and employee profile set up were simple to navigate done quickly.  For small business or non-profits this is a great payroll system.

Some of the functions or features were tricky to find at first but once I knew where to find them it will easy in the future.

The cost for our small non-profit is the only payroll system we could afford.

When we finally committed to making the switch to OnPay from our previous provider, the transition went very smoothly. OnPay did all the transferring of information which made it a less overwhelming task. 
Their pricing for our non-profit organization is very helpful to our budget.

**What do you dislike about OnPay?**

The only thing that was not clear to me after verifying my bank through the automated process, was that I needed to record the amounts that were debited to my bank account from OnPay to move forward in the registration process.

I appreciate the ability to run payroll multiple times a week if needed and then go dormant for 2 months if it gets slow.  This keeps my employees happy and makes it easy to respond to event volume.  The customer service has been top notch.

I haven't found any serious downsides either with ease of use, customer service, or initial implementation.

**What do you like best about OnPay?**

OnPay is simple to implement and use.  I run twice per month payrolls for two companies currently.  Customer support can be reached by email and phone, and they always respond quickly whether it's a simple question regarding administering a payroll or if it's a payroll tax issue.  We have employees in multiple states, and the filing and reporting is handled expertly by the OnPay team.

**What do you dislike about OnPay?**

I have nothing to dislike about OnPay.  I've used competitors recently for companies I'm contracted to work for, and none of them compare favorably to OnPay, especially as it regards customer service.

OnPay solves the problem of needing employees to manage payroll and payroll taxes.

I like how easy the software is to use and when I have questions, they are answered quickly.  Very helpful staff. The monthly cost is very economical as well.

I have no dislikes at the moment with OnPay.

OnPay helps with the withholdings and unemployment insurance requirements.  They also do the quarterly filings for me.

OnPay isn't trying to take advantage of me as a volunteer, small church treasurer. Once it was setup, there is really not much else that requires my attention. When I have had questions, the support staff are knowledgeable and patient.

I'm struggling to think of something I dislike... the hardest part was the setup which was a breeze compared with the previous company we worked with.

OnPay takes care of payroll and all the tax stuff that always was a mystery to me and took quite a bit of time.

**What do you like best about OnPay?**

I was really nervous about hiring my first employees and ensuring all the correct paperwork and processes were in place so their experience was smooth and so was mine. I researched different payroll services and chose OnPay for the suite of services they provide geared toward small businesses combined with their reasonable pricing. I have been relieved and impressed with the ease of getting set up in OnPay and running payroll, and particularly with their excellent customer support, who have responded promptly and been thoroughly addressed any concerns or issues I have had as I get set up. My first payroll run went smoothly and easily!

**What do you dislike about OnPay?**

They do not provide support getting set up with the state tax and labor departments. While they partner with a third party to support, that third party doesn't have actual customer support staffing. All that said, the third party did get my business set up with the state without issue. So minor dislike... just would have preferred the excellent service of OnPay through these associated tasks.

It was very simple to convert from previous payroll provider.  Everytime that I have called in, I received prompt and helpful assistance.  Doing payroll each pay period has been easy to use.  We are also saving money from our previous provider.

Easy to use and intuitive setup. Robust set of features for a reasonable price. Great online support. Appreciated the hands on support during our first payroll run. The transition from Quickbooks through implementation and our first payroll run on onpay took less than 15 minutes.

There is nothing that I don't like about the software.

Onpay provides an online solution that our office staff can use to easily process payroll both for scheduled and one off runs.   The automated direct deposit and submission of liabilities is seamless.

I like how user friendly the software was. I also appreciated how quickly a representative reached out to me and was able to answer my questions. We are a very small business and OnPay is perfect for what we need!

I haven't found anything that I dislike about OnPay. It provides everything we need at the moment.

**What do you like best about OnPay?**

I really appreciated the ease of use of the software itself. Everything is self explanatory and easy to follow/visually appealing. It is not overly complicated and difficult to navigate like some payroll software companies. 

The onboarding process was great as well and extremely responsive and knowledgeable. They have a ton of articles on everything you would have questions about that help you along the way. I was given a direct contact to help me onboard and they answered me within an hour of emailing them every time.

**What do you dislike about OnPay?**

I'm not sure yet. I'll be curious what my accountant says about how well it integrates with my accounting software. I'm hopeful that it goes well.

OnPay is handling my payroll and reducing my costs as it relates to payroll administration.

Ease of use. Customer support is great.  I do like all the features offered.  Easy to set up new contractors.

**What do you dislike about OnPay?**

I am not fond of the MFA but I realize that is for security. We have contractors that constantly change their personal information so it makes it hard.  I do not see a Send reminder if you send someone a link and they do not use it.

Payroll is easy to process, with excellent reports. Payrolls are also given a "sequence number" which helps me. Calendar feature is very helpful.

**What do you dislike about OnPay?**

I tried the integration once and it didn't work, or I couldn't figure it out and I haven't been back to try it again.  I also have one client who is having trouble cancelling his subscription - not sure if that is his fault or Onpay.

Affordable reliable payroll solution for my clients, which makes my life much easier.

It's easy to navigate, the team is helpful, and the software is affordable.

I wish there was time-tracking for contractors, but it's easy enough to have them track time in other ways.

Haven't really had any issues after almost a year of use.

It does all payroll and taxes, which save me a lot of time and worry. Also, seamlessly deducts garnishments from employees payroll when needed.

**What do you like best about OnPay?**

The best things about OnPay is simplicity and the ability to do payroll wherever I may be. Home, traveling, etc, you always have access to it.

**What do you dislike about OnPay?**

There are not many changes that I would make.  Maybe a little easier to do on the mobile side but I very rarely use it outside my laptop.

**Recommendations to others considering OnPay:**

I don't think you can ask for more from a company.  The simple fact that I can do payroll where ever I am has come in handy on so many occasions.  The few times I had questions the chat support had it answered in no time.

Any issues that come are are easily answered with the Chat help option.

OnPay Payroll rates are very attractive, probably the best rates you will find out there.
OnPay also helped our Company a lot getting started with them, they uploaded all our employee information.

**What do you dislike about OnPay?**

I wish they had more in-house Health Insurance Agents. In North Carolina the biggest insurer is Blue Cross / Blue Shield but since they do not have a Blue Cross Agent I had to get our company Health insurance for an independent agent.

**What problems is OnPay solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our company has been saving a lot of money since we switched to OnPay.
Also, I have a lot more control over our Payroll.

The accessibility and ease of use within the site. Implementation was extremely easy as well and the customer support/onboarding team was very responsive and helpful. I use OnPay weekly to process payroll  and also utilize the features for birthday/hire date tracking and benefit review.

OnPay has all the features a small business needs in this modern world. They offer ease of use when processing your weekly payroll, year-end taxes, producing reports, and many more useful features.  

In addition, customer support is always easily accessible and available. Whether you're needing help setting up your services or have a unique question as an existing member, they are always there to help.

**What do you dislike about OnPay?**

I do find that the dashboard is more set up for paying weekly employees, versus paying subcontractors. While it is still easy to use their services for paying subcontractors, there are small workarounds to deal with.

**What problems is OnPay solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sending out year end tax paperwork is so much easier with OnPay compared to some of the other companies I have dealt with in the past.

**What do you like best about OnPay?**

I really like the aesthetics of the dash/software system.  It is intuitive and easy to dive in and use without much training needed.  The support staff if really on top of things and answer questions quickly.  A much more positive experience than with ADP.  The Onpay pricing is also very competitive and fair.

**What do you dislike about OnPay?**

Nothing.  So far, I like everything about this system.

**What problems is OnPay solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Mostly, I needed a good system to process my 1099 contractor payments.  At the end of the tax year, I need to be able to easily prep 1099s and Onpay is meeting that need.

I have worked with OnPay for years now for my small business. I love that once it's set up I really don't need to think about it. Everything just works. Its also easy to connect with support if needed. Its also allowed me to easily expand my business by offering very professional looking employee benefits to attract new candidates. The pricing is flat and fair.

No majoy dislikes. I which there was a chat feature that connected to a human rather than an AI bot but its easy to get someone on the phone.

The onboarding and implementation team was wonderful to work with. Everything was easy and straight forward and made our transition from manual payroll processing to a payroll service provider a quick and easy transition. We've just had our first payroll run and our employees find the app easy to use.

**What do you dislike about OnPay?**

We are new to working with OnPay. That being said, so far, so good!  Everything has their quirks, and only time will tell, but we are really happy with the service and the team of people we have worked with thus far.

OnPay saves us valuable time and money as a new non-profit organization, affording our office manager more time for tasks that keep the services we offer up and running.

Their prices are great and they assigned a handful of people to us when we were ready to migrate from our previous payroll provider. They made it easy and seamless, we didn't even have to do much!

Their UX / UI can be a little clunky at times, I had to ask where to find a few things. But my rep was extremely helful with any questions :)

Easy to pay employees and contractors, while handling all the little bits of tax forms and filings for us. They already have integration with the 401k provider we used, so moving that over as seamless.

I have no downsides. Maybe they could market better because I feel like no one is talking about them.

OnPay is consistently filing my taxes on time with no error. My previous payroll provider (Gusto), had me receive 3 letters from the IRS in the first 3 months of use, do to their mistakes. I was so overwhelmed. Now I never have to worry because OnPay is excellent.

**What do you like best about OnPay?**

I have been using OnPay, since 2014 and switched from ADP; I couldn't be more pleased. I love how feature laden and easy to use the platform is; both on a desktop and / or mobile devices. Their customer service is friendly, knowledgeable and incredibly timely. I recently went through a random, unemployment audit and I couldn't believe how easily and quickly I was able to secure a whole slew of reports / needed information through OnPay; the auditor was even incredibly impressed by how quickly I was able to accommodate the needed documentation using OnPay. Another large incentive to OnPay is the option to, for free, self-print W2's and 1099's at the year's end. I plan to continue to use OnPay for all of my payroll needs into the foreseeable future; I couldn't be happier!

**What do you dislike about OnPay?**

Honestly Nothing! It would be an added bonus to either develop an app and / or allow the same functionality on mobile devices as on a desktop. I find on a mobile device I cannot access several features.

**What problems is OnPay solving and how is that benefiting you?**

They remove the stress of remembering tax deadlines / filling requirements. The easy to use platform / available reports has saved me countless hours of compiling information quickly.

OnPay is easy to use. Even if a mistake is made, you can re-do the payroll easily. It is also super affordable. Way less than competitors.

The only downside is that it is sometimes difficult to get customer service. If you click on chat, you could be waiting a while. I've also emailed customer service and that can take a while also.

**What do you like best about OnPay?**

My favorite thing is the cost of the service is reasonable enough that I got no pushback from our officers to move to the payroll service AND tied for first is; I am dealing with IRS and FDOR notices for 2 years prior to me coming on board and moving to OnPay. I know that once I get these taken care of I won't have to deal with them again! Another great benefit is we are paid weekly which could be a huge hassel but it's made so much easier with OnPay. A concern we had before switching over is our weeks run Monday to Friday and we are paid on Tuesday for the prior week. OnPay allows for that. I just have to enter the week's time in by Friday at 11:30 p.m. for payroll to clear on Tuesday.  I just enter the hours, confirm them, and push a button (from anywhere I have internet and a computer). I can feel confident the returns will be done correctlly, payments will be correct and timely. Also, the reports are EASY to read and understand even if you aren't an accountant.

**What do you dislike about OnPay?**

The only downside I can really see at this point is that they only have a mobile app for Apple. They really need to get one for Android. That would be AWESOME!

The cost of time and money responding to IRS and FDOR notices.

Software is intuitive and not overly complicated.   It was easy to set-up and get started.  It's also adaptable as my payroll needs have evolved.   I run payroll twice a month.  Whenever I have had a question or problem, support has been easy to access and effective.   Price is very reasonable as well.

**What do you dislike about OnPay?**

Hmm. Well, they capture the float on the withholding taxes that we are legally required to issue to the Fed & ST govt, and they probably make money on that . . . but so do other payroll companies.

Not sure if they interface their W-2's and 1099's to TurboTax or other tax-prep software.  That would be not ideal if they don't.

Sometimes when I have run payroll on the 16th or 1st for the preceding half-month, I have to manually fix the dates or else the Payroll Title gets messed up.  That's not awful though.

**What problems is OnPay solving and how is that benefiting you?**

To make sure I am paying the caregivers for my father and mother legally.  I am a CPA and I don't / won't "pay cash" to an employee.
