I love how Litmos offers a smooth, consistent way to deliver online training to all of our offices in remote locations. The platform's decent reporting capabilities allow us to consistently track how our learning is completed, which is incredibly beneficial. I find the most baseline features, such as the ability to deliver training remotely either via desktop or mobile device, extraordinarily useful. The capability to host a variety of content types, including SCORM files, documents, videos, and assessments and surveys, is also highly valuable. I appreciate the ease of use associated with Litmos, which is complemented by dedicated support from its employees. The initial setup was not difficult thanks to the assistance from Litmos representatives who helped onboard us and liaised with our IT department, ensuring all technical elements were in place smoothly. I'd like to see more flexible reporting options and have a more fleshed-out content creator. I also want more robust integrations for additional software. Recently, I tried to use the DocuSign integration but encountered issues requiring specific setups within DocuSign, making it unusable. I appreciate how Litmos has greatly facilitated compliance training across the board, efficiently managing tasks related to privacy, HIPAA, security, safety, and HR-related training needs for our company. The software's ease of setup, where initial challenges were quickly surmounted with adequate support, resulted in a streamlined and simple-to-use platform. I value the ability to generate and send necessary reports, along with emails to management, which has incredibly enhanced our reporting efficiency. Having the flexibility to update proprietary company-specific training alongside access to Litmos’s vast catalog of training materials is a significant benefit that I find highly valuable. I find the catalog searchability indispensable for easy access to necessary training resources. The dashboard feature is notably useful, addressing the needs of both administrators and individual users efficiently. I dislike the limitation in Litmos regarding user export functionality. Currently, I can only export users who have been assigned specific training sessions. However, if I want to confirm which users have not been assigned any training, I cannot find a feature to do so. I appreciate that Litmos offers a platform where we can see trainings completed by employees, workers, and volunteers, which helps in determining the best fit for particular roles and identifying who can support one another. From a training perspective, it provides a holistic view of a learner. I find the automatic assignment of courses based on job titles particularly useful, as it simplifies the process and ensures that the necessary training is aligned with specific roles. I found setting up Litmos challenging due to our organization's large size and unique structure. Customizing roles and permissions was particularly difficult, especially with the various levels of permissions needed for different types of employees, including volunteers versus regular staff. There are also differences in roles and permissions based on job duties rather than positions. Additionally, I am not entirely satisfied with the reporting capabilities. The greatest advantage of using Litmos is its ability to present and track any form of media you can create or purchase. I've used it for SCORM files, video files, 3D Interactive models, web pages, as well as external links and ILTs. Everything tracked with zero problems. You can do just about anything with it and it has served me well for 7 years.

Litmos a very customizable platform. With all of the updates in the last year especially, it is a modern-looking, easy-to-use platform. We have multiple ways of receiving support, a fantastic Customer Success Manager available to answer questions, and regular webinars that are offered to keep up-to-date with new product releases. I have seen tremendous value from Litmos primarily due to its flexibility and cost-effectiveness, which perfectly align with the complex needs of our business. I greatly appreciate how straightforward it is to set up, with support from an enablement team that allows us to be live as soon as we're prepared. I particularly admire Litmos's capability in solving compliance tracking issues by offering robust records and reporting tools. This feature has significantly cut down on time while improving compliance rates and boosting employee engagement across our 350 locations. The content authoring tool is an essential feature, empowering various team members beyond the L&D team to create and publish content without incurring extra license costs, thus streamlining the process and reducing turnaround time. Additionally, the assignment rules functionality is pivotal as it enables us to create teams based on various criteria, enhancing employee engagement by aligning training with individual needs for growth and leadership. Integrating Litmos with Dayforce via an API feed further enhances its practicality. Overall, the ease of use, robust reporting features, and excellent overall experience with the company stand out, making me willing to purchase it again and wholeheartedly recommend it to others. I find the reporting aspect of Litmos to be somewhat lacking in visual appeal. While we can extract the necessary data, it currently comes out in an Excel spreadsheet format. I believe that if the reporting could be enhanced to offer a more visually attractive dashboard, similar to what a Power BI experience provides, it would significantly increase leader engagement with the data. The pricing model works for our use case. We built our customer university on Litmos with on-demand learning videos to help with their onboarding/implementation process, and we do not charge for this service, so we have thousands of users. The pricing model of MAU tier pricing model is perfect cause we have a fluctuating volume of MAU instead of having to pay a PUPM model.

I would say it's pretty inflexible with reporting. They have a "reporting engine" but i say creating any custom report gives me a headache, and most of the time, after i download the report as a CSV, I have to spend time further revising the report in CSV format. Litmos provides all the features we require to host our virtual learning content for our high school and college students. The platform is user-friendly for both administrators and learners. We can tailor it to fit our students' needs and to reflect our brand and the distinct requirements of our programs.
